not_o a_o strangeness_n of_o god_n to_o go_v altogether_o by_o but_o the_o spirit_n have_v a_o kind_n of_o acquaintance_n with_o god_n and_o it_o go_v to_o god_n in_o a_o familiarity_n and_o lay_v forth_o grief_n and_o put_v forth_o petition_n in_o another_o manner_n than_o the_o world_n do_v again_o a_o christian_a in_o the_o worst_a condition_n god_n not_o only_o shine_v on_o he_o through_o the_o cloud_n but_o there_o be_v a_o spirit_n in_o he_o that_o sigh_v to_o go_v through_o all_o thick_a cloud_n to_o god_n there_o be_v a_o spirit_n of_o supplication_n and_o of_o love_n in_o some_o degree_n for_o that_o be_v promise_v the_o spirit_n shall_v help_v our_o infirmity_n when_o we_o know_v not_o how_o to_o pray_v the_o intercourse_n and_o communion_n god_n with_o god_n be_v never_o break_v off_o where_o there_o be_v any_o spirit_n of_o adoption_n therefore_o ionas_n and_o david_n and_o the_o rest_n though_o they_o can_v not_o pray_v yet_o they_o sigh_v to_o god_n and_o will_v not_o leave_v he_o if_o they_o can_v not_o embrace_v christ_n they_o will_v touch_v the_o hem_n of_o his_o garment_n they_o will_v not_o yield_v to_o the_o stream_n altogether_o but_o strive_v bid_v they_o to_o pray_v forgive_v we_o our_o daily_a sin_n assurance_n hence_o issue_v this_o truth_n that_o a_o christian_n may_v be_v assure_v of_o his_o salvation_n in_o this_o world_n for_o first_o of_o all_o grant_n that_o we_o ought_v particular_o to_o apply_v as_o god_n offer_v himself_o to_o we_o and_o that_o no_o infirmity_n nor_o sin_n hinder_v this_o claim_n than_o what_o follow_v but_o a_o christian_a believe_v and_o repent_v of_o his_o sin_n daily_o may_v be_v assure_v that_o he_o be_v in_o the_o state_n of_o grace_n because_o there_o be_v ground_n of_o particular_a some_o particular_a interest_n we_o have_v in_o christ_n and_o in_o god_n it_o can_v be_v so_o unless_o we_o will_v deny_v obedience_n to_o all_o duty_n enjoin_v we_o must_v for_o have_v this_o assurance_n which_o enter_v into_o all_o which_o be_v the_o spirit_n that_o quicken_v and_o enliven_v all_o therefore_o labour_n for_o it_o 2._o else_o we_o shall_v take_v away_o the_o ground_n that_o god_n enforce_v good_a duty_n from_o in_o scripture_n as_o he_o do_v 12._o enforce_v duty_n from_o this_o ground_n as_o elect_n see_v you_o put_v on_o bowel_n of_o compassion_n i_o beseech_v you_o
