constant_a heat_n into_o his_o colour_n all_o the_o skill_n of_o cunning_a artisan_n and_o mechanic_n can_v put_v a_o principle_n of_o life_n into_o the_o most_o exquisite_a statue_n of_o their_o make_n man_n and_o book_n may_v propound_v some_o direction_n to_o we_o that_o may_v set_v we_o in_o such_o a_o way_n of_o life_n and_o practice_n as_o in_o which_o we_o shall_v at_o least_o find_v it_o within_o ourselves_o and_o be_v experimental_o acquaint_v with_o it_o but_o they_o can_v teach_v we_o virtue_n like_o a_o mechanic_n art_n or_o trade_n no_o no_o there_o be_v a_o spirit_n in_o man_n and_o the_o inspiration_n of_o the_o almigthy_a give_v this_o understanding_n but_o we_o shall_v not_o meet_v with_o this_o spirit_n any_o where_o though_o it_o be_v near_o to_o every_o one_o pleasant_a to_o the_o eye_n and_o radolent_a then_o if_o every_o sort_n of_o flower_n and_o fragrant_a herb_n be_v put_v together_o by_o themselves_o read_v and_o practice_n turn_v thy_o eye_n inward_o and_o wait_v at_o wisdom_n gate_n separate_v thyself_o from_o the_o way_n of_o the_o multitude_n and_o the_o lord_n from_o who_o alone_o proceed_v every_o good_a and_o perfect_a gift_n give_v thou_o understanding_n in_o all_o thing_n farewell_o wisdom_n dictate_v or_o aphorism_n physical_a moral_a and_o divine_a etc._n etc._n 1._o the_o first_o step_n to_o wisdom_n be_v to_o know_v
