sacrament_n supply_v the_o present_a want_n of_o those_o which_o be_v ordinary_a they_o have_v the_o ark_n of_o the_o covenant_n wherein_o be_v the_o pretious_a relic_n that_o ever_o the_o world_n be_v owner_n of_o the_o table_n write_v with_o god_n own_o finger_n but_o alas_o none_o of_o these_o can_v cure_v they_o help_v they_o only_o the_o brazen_a serpent_n can_v do_v this_o thus_o christian_n may_v have_v many_o other_o thing_n beside_o what_o they_o have_v common_a with_o heathen_n riches_n and_o honour_n etc._n etc._n they_o may_v have_v the_o word_n and_o sacrament_n with_o concern_v the_o first_o of_o these_o last_o zeph._n 1._o last_o your_o silver_n and_o your_o gold_n shall_v not_o be_v able_a to_o deliver_v you_o in_o the_o day_n of_o the_o lord_n fierce_a wrath_n we_o may_v say_v of_o all_o the_o rest_n it_o be_v not_o our_o hear_n receive_v hear_v the_o word_n receive_v the_o sacrament_n nor_o yet_o our_o prayer_n or_o any_o other_o ordinance_n of_o god_n sovereign_a use_n yet_o a_o blind_a israelite_n receive_v no_o benefit_n by_o it_o no_o more_o can_v a_o faithless_a heart_n from_o any_o ordinance_n of_o god_n the_o word_n in_o itself_o a_o excellent_a ordinance_n yet_o meet_v with_o such_o a_o heart_n where_o it_o neither_o find_v faith_n nor_o work_v faith_n it_o lose_v the_o efficacy_n so_o do_v it_o in_o the_o israelite_n to_o they_o be_v the_o gospel_n preach_v say_v the_o apostle_n as_o well_o as_o to_o we_o 4.2_o heb._n 4.2_o the_o same_o gospel_n as_o true_o though_o not_o so_o clear_o but_o 〈◊〉_d 〈◊〉_d 〈◊〉_d 〈◊〉_d 〈◊〉_d it_o hold_v forth_o this_o truth_n the_o guest_n which_o be_v invite_v to_o the_o marriage_n supper_n 15.18_o luke_n 15.18_o every_o one_o have_v something_o to_o keep_v he_o away_o one_o a_o wife_n another_o a_o farm_n etc._n etc._n thus_o it_o be_v with_o poor_a sinner_n when_o they_o be_v invite_v to_o come_v unto_o christ_n to_o believe_v on_o he_o to_o have_v communion_n with_o he_o every_o one_o have_v something_a or_o other_o to_o detain_v and_o keep_v he_o back_o either_o the_o pleasure_n or_o profit_n or_o honour_n of_o the_o world_n etc._n etc._n and_o these_o be_v satan_n snare_n
