or_o restrain_v it_o thou_o shall_v find_v it_o will_v be_v revenge_v on_o thou_o for_o it_o be_v attend_v with_o the_o wrath_n of_o god_n five_o 5._o if_o this_o be_v the_o miserable_a condition_n material_n leave_v still_o only_o the_o order_n be_v take_v away_o so_o in_o the_o corruption_n of_o nature_n there_o be_v the_o same_o natural_a operation_n but_o all_o be_v disorder_v and_o turn_v up-side_n down_o thus_o be_v the_o confusion_n of_o man_n after_o the_o fall_n but_o the_o new_a creature_n do_v work_v the_o contrary_a it_o set_v up_o the_o house_n again_o and_o restore_v we_o unto_o our_o first_o state_n in_o adam_n when_o a_o man_n be_v make_v a_o new_a creature_n his_o soul_n be_v put_v in_o joint_n again_o so_o that_o the_o face_n of_o every_o faculty_n look_v towards_o god_n whereas_o before_o it_o look_v towards_o the_o world_n sin_n and_o hell_n the_o soul_n be_v quite_o alter_v as_o a_o man_n that_o turn_v his_o face_n from_o east_n to_o west_n whereas_o a_o man_n before_o have_v his_o back_n now_o he_o have_v his_o face_n turn_v to_o heaven_n therefore_o it_o be_v call_v turn_v to_o the_o lord_n observe_v here_o two_o thing_n first_o when_o we_o say_v you_o must_v be_v cast_v into_o a_o new_a frame_n it_o be_v not_o enough_o to_o have_v the_o action_n of_o the_o soul_n change_v but_o the_o whole_a bent_n of_o the_o soul_n in_o a_o regenerate_a man_n change_v the_o turn_n of_o the_o action_n be_v nothing_o for_o even_o when_o he_o do_v that_o which_o be_v evil_a the_o bent_n or_o positure_n of_o his_o soul_n stand_v to_o god_n although_o it_o be_v transport_v to_o do_v evil_a and_o it_o be_v true_a on_o the_o other-side_n although_o a_o evil_a man_n do_v good_a action_n yet_o the_o bent_n of_o his_o soul_n look_v another_o way_n for_o therein_o stand_v the_o alteration_n of_o the_o new_a creature_n even_o in_o the_o bent_n of_o the_o faculty_n which_o be_v to_o turn_v we_o from_o satan_n unto_o god_n aristotle_n have_v a_o observation_n it_o be_v one_o thing_n say_v he_o to_o do_v a_o act_n of_o art_n and_o another_o thing_n to_o do_v it_o like_o a_o artist_n it_o be_v one_o thing_n to_o do_v a_o act_n of_o music_n and_o another_o thing_n to_o do_v it_o artist-like_a if_o one_o do_v a_o thing_n and_o have_v no_o art_n in_o the_o do_n of_o it_o he_o deserve_v no_o commendation_n so_o there_o be_v a_o great_a difference_n between_o do_v any_o act_n of_o goodness_n and_o have_v the_o action_n of_o the_o soul_n well_o habit_v for_o when_o you_o only_o do_v the_o act_n without_o the_o bent_n of_o your_o soul_n that_o way_n god_n regard_v it_o not_o at_o your_o hand_n but_o when_o the_o inward_a frame_n of_o the_o heart_n be_v set_v right_a whereas_o it_o be_v contrary_a before_o it_o be_v a_o sign_n of_o a_o new_a creature_n apply_v this_o to_o yourselves_o but_o how_o shall_v we_o know_v whether_o the_o frame_n of_o our_o soul_n be_v thus_o alter_v or_o no_o quest._n you_o shall_v know_v it_o by_o this_o answ._n if_o there_o be_v such_o a_o alteration_n of_o the_o inward_a faculty_n you_o shall_v find_v yourselves_o ready_a to_o every_o good_a work_n when_o a_o man_n have_v no_o natural_a induction_n of_o a_o new_a quality_n and_o a_o weaken_n of_o the_o old_a we_o will_v urge_v this_o a_o little_a nature_n first_o there_o must_v be_v a_o lessen_v and_o a_o weaken_n of_o that_o be_v christ_n which_o be_v life_n indeed_o which_o will_v give_v you_o another_o life_n of_o immortality_n for_o you_o must_v know_v that_o it_o be_v not_o immortality_n simple_o that_o man_n desire_v the_o naturalist_n be_v deceive_v in_o that_o for_o a_o man_n have_v rather_o not_o to_o be_v than_o to_o be_v in_o misery_n and_o the_o soul_n in_o hell_n be_v immortal_a and_o therefore_o it_o be_v not_o immortality_n that_o we_o desire_v simple_o for_o death_n be_v not_o the_o extinguish_n of_o life_n but_o the_o misery_n of_o life_n and_o therefore_o where_o the_o scripture_n speak_v of_o the_o loss_n of_o the_o soul_n it_o be_v to_o be_v mean_v thus_o a_o man_n finger_n or_o his_o joint_n be_v lose_v when_o it_o be_v seize_v on_o by_o any_o incurable_a sore_n so_o when_o eternal_a misery_n be_v on_o the_o soul_n than_o the_o soul_n be_v lose_v and_o yet_o you_o have_v the_o joint_n still_o you_o have_v the_o soul_n still_o you_o have_v life_n still_o and_o therefore_o it_o be_v not_o immortality_n simple_o that_o we_o desire_v if_o we_o consider_v what_o it_o be_v but_o it_o be_v happiness_n it_o be_v such_o a_o life_n as_o be_v not_o only_o immortal_a but_o happy_a withal_o this_o life_n christ_n have_v promise_v we_o shall_v live_v and_o a_o happy_a life_n such_o as_o s._n paul_n express_v 2_o cor._n 5._o say_v he_o we_o desire_v not_o to_o be_v unclothe_v but_o to_o say_v i_o will_v wait_v till_o my_o change_n shall_v come_v he_o say_v not_o till_o my_o destruction_n come_v till_o my_o perish_v come_v or_o till_o my_o death_n come_v but_o i_o will_v wait_v till_o christ_n say_v if_o you_o drink_v of_o other_o water_n you_o shall_v thirst_v again_o this_o be_v that_o which_o satisfy_v because_o all_o other_o thing_n be_v but_o particular_a health_n you_o know_v will_v serve_v but_o against_o sickness_n wealth_n and_o profit_n will_v serve_v but_o against_o poverty_n credit_n and_o honour_n will_v but_o serve_v against_o disgrace_n the_o soul_n now_o be_v of_o a_o great_a latitude_n it_o be_v only_a god_n the_o universal_a good_a that_o can_v make_v a_o great_a feast_n to_o satisfy_v it_o he_o only_o can_v fill_v all_o the_o corner_n of_o the_o soul_n none_o can_v make_v a_o feast_n to_o satisfy_v the_o soul_n but_o only_o the_o lord_n because_o he_o be_v the_o universal_a good_a he_o fill_v the_o soul_n every_o way_n other_o thing_n do_v but_o weary_a they_o satisfy_v not_o when_o a_o man_n have_v all_o he_o can_v have_v something_o more_o he_o will_v have_v though_o he_o know_v not_o what_o i_o say_v there_o be_v nothing_o can_v satisfy_v but_o the_o lord_n only_o it_o be_v he_o that_o make_v the_o feast_n and_o thence_o be_v that_o speech_n why_o do_v you_o lay_v forth_o money_n and_o not_o for_o bread_n why_o do_v you_o labour_v without_o be_v satisfy_v but_o yet_o there_o be_v one_o property_n more_o by_o which_o you_o shall_v know_v what_o this_o feast_n be_v it_o be_v a_o continual_a feast_n that_o be_v it_o be_v not_o only_o a_o feast_n but_o as_o i_o say_v before_o there_o be_v a_o continual_a tract_n a_o continual_a stream_n of_o comfort_n without_o interruption_n or_o intermission_n a_o good_a conscience_n be_v another_o there_o be_v a_o continual_a feast_n and_o therefore_o be_v not_o fill_v with_o wine_n wherein_o be_v excess_n that_o be_v the_o pleasure_n of_o it_o be_v soon_o go_v but_o be_v fill_v with_o the_o spirit_n that_o shall_v refresh_v you_o more_o than_o any_o cup_n of_o sack_n than_o any_o flagon_n of_o wine_n i_o say_v this_o comfort_n you_o shall_v have_v that_o this_o feast_n you_o it_o shall_v lie_v down_o with_o you_o it_o will_v go_v with_o your_o sick_a bed_n to_o you_o and_o there_o a_o good_a conscience_n will_v be_v a_o continual_a feast_n it_o will_v go_v to_o prison_n with_o you_o and_o there_o it_o will_v refresh_v you_o it_o will_v pass_v with_o you_o through_o ill_n and_o good_a report_n and_o there_o it_o will_v comfort_v you_o it_o leave_v you_o not_o in_o death_n but_o there_o and_o in_o all_o the_o change_n of_o this_o life_n it_o shall_v be_v with_o you_o to_o refresh_v you_o and_o to_o cheer_v your_o spirit_n more_o than_o any_o cordial_n this_o you_o shall_v have_v by_o christ_n if_o you_o will_v take_v he_o such_o a_o feast_n he_o will_v make_v you_o but_o you_o will_v say_v quest._n we_o find_v no_o such_o thing_n we_o find_v no_o to_o such_o a_o man_n it_o will_v be_v meat_n and_o drink_n indeed_o and_o so_o it_o will_v be_v to_o you_o if_o you_o be_v hungry_a where_o there_o be_v a_o great_a dole_n make_v the_o poor_a come_v those_o that_o be_v hungry_a come_v so_o the_o poor_a receive_v the_o gospel_n those_o that_o be_v hungry_a will_v come_v and_o to_o those_o it_o be_v a_o feast_n and_o therefore_o as_o christ_n conclude_v his_o sermon_n when_o he_o have_v speak_v of_o thing_n belong_v to_o the_o spirit_n thing_n belong_v to_o eternal_a life_n say_v he_o there_o he_o that_o have_v a_o ear_n to_o hear_v let_v
