and_o yet_o such_o may_v be_v believer_n in_o the_o mean_a time_n they_o have_v the_o habit_n of_o faith_n now_o by_o the_o habit_n of_o faith_n in_o infant_n i_o mean_v a_o principle_n of_o grace_n or_o internal_a renovation_n which_o be_v wrought_v in_o regeneration_n for_o regeneration_n be_v a_o infuse_v the_o seed_n of_o all_o grace_n into_o the_o soul_n and_o consequent_o of_o faith_n this_o be_v premise_v i_o come_v to_o lay_v down_o a_o proposition_n for_o the_o clear_n the_o way_n to_o that_o which_o i_o intend_v more_o large_o to_o insist_v upon_o proposition_n that_o infant_n life_n and_o therefore_o thou_o may_v as_o well_o ask_v we_o whether_o we_o be_v willing_a to_o miss_v of_o life_n as_o forsake_v thou_o for_o these_o truth_n sake_n thus_o you_o see_v however_o contemptible_a this_o doctrine_n be_v then_o to_o those_o that_o believe_v not_o or_o may_v be_v to_o such_o who_o eye_n be_v not_o yet_o open_v or_o at_o least_o who_o see_v no_o clear_a into_o divine_a mystery_n than_o he_o who_o see_v man_n as_o tree_n yet_o this_o be_v judge_v such_o a_o fundamental_a truth_n to_o the_o twelve_o that_o it_o behove_v they_o as_o they_o tender_v the_o salvation_n of_o their_o soul_n to_o receive_v it_o in_o a_o word_n and_o i_o shall_v close_v though_o those_o that_o differ_v from_o i_o in_o this_o point_n may_v for_o my_o goodwill_n become_v my_o enemy_n because_o i_o tell_v they_o the_o truth_n yet_o in_o love_n to_o their_o soul_n i_o will_v have_v they_o consider_v whether_o this_o doctrine_n they_o defend_v do_v not_o exclude_v the_o spirit_n of_o god_n from_o have_v any_o hand_n in_o the_o application_n of_o the_o benefit_n purchase_v by_o christ_n to_o the_o soul_n and_o if_o it_o do_v i_o hope_v you_o will_v see_v it_o to_o be_v a_o error_n indeed_o now_o i_o think_v none_o dare_v deny_v but_o that_o upon_o our_o come_n to_o christ_n his_o benefit_n be_v apply_v to_o all_o now_o the_o question_n be_v how_o or_o by_o what_o power_n the_o soul_n be_v enable_v to_o come_v say_v i_o as_o renew_v and_o bear_v of_o the_o spirit_n tit._n 3.3,5_o say_v they_o though_o without_o one_o syllable_n in_o scripture_n to_o prove_v it_o no_o the_o soul_n come_v wreek_v in_o all_o his_o sin_n unchanged_a unrenewed_a and_o if_o so_o then_o judge_v if_o this_o be_v not_o to_o exclude_v the_o spirit_n whole_o from_o have_v any_o hand_n in_o this_o work_n for_o if_o such_o as_o come_v to_o christ_n have_v the_o spirit_n than_o they_o do_v not_o come_v as_o they_o be_v in_o their_o sin_n let_v i_o close_o all_o with_o a_o word_n to_o you_o my_o auditor_n and_o especial_o to_o you_o my_o brethren_n i_o chief_o design_v what_o be_v contain_v in_o this_o book_n for_o you_o that_o you_o may_v be_v establish_v in_o the_o truth_n as_o it_o be_v in_o jesus_n take_v you_o heed_n of_o reject_v sound_a doctrine_n lest_o god_n give_v you_o over_o to_o believe_v a_o lie_n it_o be_v the_o truth_n must_v make_v you_o free_a stand_v you_o therefore_o and_o inquire_v for_o the_o good_a old_a way_n and_o walk_v therein_o and_o you_o shall_v find_v rest_n to_o your_o soul_n contend_v you_o earnest_o for_o the_o faith_n once_o deliver_v to_o the_o saint_n beware_v of_o such_o pretend_a light_n as_o do_v not_o shine_v forth_o in_o god_n word_n in_o a_o word_n if_o i_o have_v deliver_v nothing_o in_o this_o book_n but_o what_o i_o have_v prove_v from_o scripture_n than_o i_o hope_v you_o will_v see_v it_o your_o duty_n to_o receive_v these_o truth_n it_o be_v sad_a when_o any_o love_n darkness_n rather_o than_o light_n but_o if_o any_o of_o you_o after_o all_o my_o labour_n for_o your_o sake_n shall_v reject_v these_o truth_n i_o leave_v this_o book_n not_o as_o a_o legacy_n but_o as_o a_o witness_n against_o you_o at_o the_o great_a day_n finis_fw-la
