glad_o have_v hard_o speak_v of_o and_o i_o beseech_v you_o what_o thing_n may_v we_o poor_a heathen_a require_v more_o we_o be_v bond_n unto_o this_o time_n in_o darkness_n &_o great_a incredulite_n utter_o ignorant_a what_o we_o shall_v do_v to_o attain_v everlasting_a salvation_n but_o god_n have_v set_v forth_o this_o light_n and_o now_o have_v he_o end_v this_o misery_n who_o have_v do_v this_o this_o child_n of_o who_o symeon_n speak_v such_o excellent_a thing_n and_o by_o what_o thing_n have_v he_o bring_v this_o to_o pass_v by_o his_o helthsom_a doctrine_n and_o gospel_n for_o as_o he_o only_o be_v the_o glory_n of_o his_o people_n when_o they_o acknowledge_v he_o by_o faith_n so_o also_o be_v he_o a_o light_n unto_o we_o when_o he_o will_v that_o his_o most_o holy_a word_n shall_v come_v unto_o us._n for_o then_o in_o deed_n begin_v it_o to_o be_v fulfil_v that_o the_o prophet_n long_o before_o see_v in_o spirit_n and_o say_v the_o people_n that_o dwell_v in_o darkness_n see_v a_o great_a light_n etc._n etc._n wherefore_o dear_o belove_v let_v we_o with_o hearty_a affection_n endeavour_v ourselves_o that_o in_o as_o much_o as_o we_o be_v make_v the_o child_n of_o god_n by_o the_o word_n of_o god_n that_o we_o acknowledge_v the_o same_o with_o simeon_n and_o be_v thankful_a and_o never_o admit_v to_o seek_v remission_n of_o sin_n justice_n and_o eternal_a health_n at_o any_o other_o than_o this_o child_n who_o simeon_n acknowledge_v and_o name_v the_o savioure_n of_o the_o whole_a world_n who_o with_o the_o father_n and_o the_o holy_a ghost_n preserve_v and_o keep_v we_o all_o amen_o the_o gospel_n on_o faint_a mathias_n the_o apostels_n day_n math._n 11._o at_o that_o time_n jesus_n answer_v and_o say_v i_o thank_v the_o o_o father_n will_v not_o be_v subdue_v and_o submit_v itself_o captive_a under_o the_o word_n of_o god_n and_o to_o the_o folishe_a preach_v of_o the_o cross_n shall_v never_o be_v able_a to_o perceive_v any_o thing_n at_o all_o of_o the_o matter_n of_o his_o justification_n nor_o in_o any_o thing_n that_o appertain_v to_o the_o glory_n of_o god_n and_o why_o god_n can_v by_o no_o mean_n nor_o will_v suffer_v such_o pride_n as_o common_o come_v of_o carnal_a wisdom_n as_o it_o be_v write_v god_n resist_v the_o proud_a 5._o 1._o pe._n 5._o and_o geve_v grace_n unto_o the_o lowly_a furthermore_o we_o see_v that_o such_o as_o be_v carnal_o wise_a and_o civil_o prudent_a man_n very_o seldom_o they_o come_v unto_o the_o knowledge_n of_o god_n but_o who_o then_o be_v they_o that_o be_v admit_v unto_o the_o knowledge_n of_o god_n and_o unto_o faith_n forsooth_o little_a child_n and_o in_o this_o place_n christ_n call_v they_o child_n babe_n child_n or_o babe_n that_o despair_n of_o theim selue_o of_o all_o their_o carnal_a wisdom_n and_o prudence_n that_o only_o consider_v and_o deep_o fyx_v in_o their_o heart_n those_o thing_n which_o christ_n teach_v preach_v &_o wrought_v know_v also_o that_o in_o matter_n appertain_v unto_o the_o honour_n of_o god_n to_o righteousness_n &_o our_o salvation_n or_o our_o own_o carnal_a wit_n be_v of_o no_o waytte_n nor_o value_n but_o only_o the_o word_n of_o god_n wysmen_n wysmen_n and_o know_v also_o that_o no_o man_n can_v kmowe_v or_o apprehend_v that_o justice_n without_o the_o revelation_n of_o god_n and_o now_o unto_o the_o first_o
