order_n consider_v that_o it_o be_v a_o most_o ugly_a and_o abominable_a thing_n to_o be_v in_o the_o displeasure_n and_o enmity_n of_o our_o lord_n thou_o have_v hear_v man_n speak_v of_o some_o huge_a theft_n or_o treason_n or_o some_o other_o wickedness_n which_o some_o woman_n may_v have_v commit_v against_o her_o husband_n or_o of_o some_o high_a irreverence_n which_o a_o son_n may_v have_v express_v towards_o his_o father_n or_o some_o other_o crime_n of_o this_o nature_n which_o in_o the_o eye_n of_o any_o ignorant_a person_n whatsoever_o will_v instant_o appear_v to_o be_v foul_a because_o they_o be_v against_o all_o reason_n but_o thou_o must_v know_v that_o to_o offend_v god_n by_o one_o only_a sin_n be_v two_o be_v there_o be_v no_o comparison_n between_o these_o two_o a_o great_a deformity_n in_o be_v against_o the_o commandment_n give_v by_o he_o and_o the_o reverence_n which_o be_v due_a to_o he_o than_o all_o the_o wicked_a action_n that_o can_v be_v continuance_n of_o prayer_n for_o he_o know_v how_o and_o he_o be_v accustom_v to_o teach_v both_o interiorly_a and_o by_o way_n of_o exterior_a comparison_n the_o little_a that_o all_o thing_n if_o we_o consider_v how_o he_o suffer_v and_o die_v for_o us._n this_o be_v the_o cheerful_a news_n which_o in_o the_o new_a law_n be_v preach_v to_o all_o such_o as_o be_v of_o break_a hart_n and_o hereby_o be_v minister_v a_o kind_n of_o physic_n which_o be_v more_o efficacious_a towards_o their_o comfort_n than_o they_o can_v be_v discomfort_a by_o the_o wound_n and_o soar_v of_o their_o ownesoule_n this_o crucify_a lord_n be_v he_o who_o cheer_v they_o up_o who_o the_o knowledge_n of_o their_o own_o sin_n afflict_v and_o he_o it_o be_v that_o absolu_v who_o the_o law_n condemn_v &_o no_o this_o be_v the_o book_n of_o book_n book_n so_o efficacious_a towards_o the_o instruct_n of_o a_o man_n in_o all_o kind_n of_o virtue_n nor_o how_o hearty_o sin_v aught_o to_o be_v abhor_v and_o virtue_n love_v as_o the_o passion_n of_o the_o son_n of_o god_n and_o again_o because_o it_o be_v a_o extreme_a ingratitude_n to_o put_v such_o a_o immense_a benefit_n of_o love_n into_o oblivion_n as_o that_o be_v in_o christ_n to_o suffer_v for_o us._n it_o be_v therefore_o fit_a for_o thou_o after_o the_o exercise_n of_o the_o knowledge_n of_o thyself_o to_o employ_v thy_o mind_n upon_o the_o knowledge_n of_o christ_n jesus_n our_o lord_n s._n bernard_n teach_v we_o this_o by_o say_v whosoever_o have_v any_o feel_n of_o christ_n do_v know_v how_o much_o it_o belong_v to_o christian_a piety_n and_o how_o necessary_a it_o be_v and_o what_o fruit_n it_o bring_v to_o the_o servant_n of_o god_n and_o a_o servant_n of_o the_o redemption_n of_o christ_n to_o remember_v with_o attention_n so_o as_o that_o it_o cost_v thou_o not_o too_o much_o trouble_v thou_o may_v also_o have_v near_o thou_o some_o man_n some_o devout_a picture_n do_v both_o address_n &_o ease_v the_o imaginative_a part_n of_o man_n devout_a picture_n well_o proportion_v to_o the_o several_a part_n of_o the_o passion_n by_o look_v upon_o which_o sometime_o thou_o may_v be_v ease_v and_o so_o enable_v without_o much_o difficulty_n to_o imagine_v it_o without_o they_o be_v also_o very_o careful_a that_o not_o only_o thou_o fly_v from_o the_o danger_n which_o i_o have_v tell_v thou_o of_o in_o imagine_v with_o too_o much_o trouble_n but_o other_o but_o we_o must_v neither_o be_v too_o extreme_o solicitous_a on_o the_o one_o side_n nor_o slothful_a or_o negligent_a on_o the_o other_o also_o from_o think_v with_o too_o much_o earnestness_n of_o attention_n and_o with_o too_o much_o employment_n of_o the_o head_n for_o beside_o the_o hurt_n which_o such_o a_o head_n will_v receive_v thereby_o it_o cause_v a_o drienesse_n in_o the_o soul_n which_o make_v it_o abhor_v prayer_n do_v not_o meditate_v in_o such_o sort_n nor_o with_o so_o much_o force_n that_o it_o may_v seem_v as_o if_o thou_o
