be_v thorough_o convince_v of_o the_o real_a joy_n and_o contentment_n satisfaction_n and_o ease_n that_o be_v to_o be_v find_v in_o it_o it_o may_v haply_o sound_a as_o a_o paradox_n but_o there_o be_v a_o real_a truth_n in_o it_o that_o the_o only_a way_n for_o a_o man_n to_o enjoy_v himself_o be_v to_o deny_v himself_o then_o wesay_n a_o man_n enjoy_v himself_o when_o he_o take_v comfort_n and_o delight_n in_o all_o that_o he_o have_v and_o all_o that_o he_o do_v a_o man_n destitute_a of_o comfort_n and_o contentment_n that_o can_v take_v no_o delight_n in_o any_o thing_n we_o say_v of_o such_o a_o man_n that_o he_o do_v not_o enjoy_v himself_o why_o in_o this_o sense_n self-denial_n give_v a_o man_n the_o sweet_a enjoyment_n of_o himself_o of_o any_o thing_n in_o the_o world_n in_o your_o patience_n say_v our_o saviour_n possess_v you_o your_o soul_n luke_n 21.19_o there_o be_v much_o self-denial_n exercise_v in_o patience_n now_o this_o be_v prescribe_v as_o a_o mean_n to_o keep_v possession_n of_o our_o soul_n exercise_n patience_n and_o you_o will_v be_v able_a to_o keep_v possession_n what_o be_v that_o why_o to_o keep_v your_o soul_n in_o order_n and_o under_o they_o to_o keep_v they_o in_o such_o order_n that_o we_o can_v maintain_v a_o sweet_a calm_a and_o quiet_a frame_n and_o temper_n in_o they_o that_o they_o be_v not_o turn_v out_o of_o door_n by_o any_o boisterous_a and_o unruly_a passion_n and_o this_o be_v do_v by_o self-denial_n and_o can_v be_v do_v without_o it_o a_o selfish_a man_n be_v beside_o himself_o though_o he_o seek_v himself_o in_o every_o
