Tenth the graces of Gods Sirit powred out upâ—â—â— us are our assurance that he will not hold from us our regall priviledges viz. his promises Now he which stablisheth us with you in Christ and hath anoynted us is God who hath also sealed us and given the earnest of the spirit in our hearts 2 Cor. 1.21.22 In whom also after that yee believed yee were sealed with that holy spirit of promise Eph. 1.13 Eleventh the Law cannot disanull the promises For if they which are of the Law be heires faith is made voyd and the promise made of none effect Rom. 4.14 And this I say that the Covenant that was confirmed before of God in Christ the Law which was foure hundred and thirty yeares after cannot disanuld that it should make the promise of none effect for it the inheritance be of the Law it is no more of promise but God gave it to Abraham by promise Gal. 3.17.18 Twelfth the Lord hath sealed his promises unto us 1. To Selling Corne to the Poore The blessings of the LORD shall be upon such m m He that withholdeth corne the people shall curse him but blessings shall bee upon the head of him that selleth it Prov. 11.26 5 To feeding the Hungry giving Drinke to the Thirsty Lodging to the harbourlesse cloathing to the Naked visiting the Sick and Prisoners and receiveing poore Strangers These are signes of our Justification by Christ and that we shall not be punished or perish for our Fathers faults n Christ takes all as done to himselfe o And will accept and acquit us in mercy according to such Workes at the last day p And reward them with Eternall life q â— Vide supra Ez. 18.7.9 g h o And the King shal answer and say unto them verily I say unto you in as much as yee have done it unto one of the least of these my brethren ye have done it unto me Maâ— 25.40 p Come vee blessed of my Father inherit the Kingdome prepared for you from
