pain_n what_o thing_n be_v that_o quoth_v he_o that_o thou_o will_v take_v i_o to_o thy_o wife_n then_o say_v the_o prisoner_n i_o promise_v you_o sure_o to_o fulfil_v your_o intent_n and_o desire_n and_o for_o the_o more_o assurance_n i_o plight_v you_o my_o troth_n when_o he_o have_v so_o do_v it_o be_v not_o long_o after_o the_o damsel_n deliver_v he_o out_o of_o prison_n &_o flee_v away_o with_o he_o home_o to_o his_o father_n house_n when_o the_o father_n see_v his_o son_n and_o the_o maiden_n together_o he_o ask_v the_o cause_n why_o he_o bring_v the_o maiden_n with_o he_o then_o say_v his_o son_n sir_n this_o damsel_n deliver_v i_o out_o of_o prison_n &_o therefore_o she_o shall_v be_v my_o wife_n then_o say_v his_o father_n i_o will_v not_o consent_v that_o she_o shall_v for_o at_o thy_o deliveraunce_n she_o make_v covenaunt_v with_o thou_o to_o be_v thy_o wife_n and_o have_v of_o thou_o thy_o troth_n &_o therefore_o son_n say_v he_o it_o be_v not_o reaâ—on_a that_o she_o shall_v be_v thy_o wife_n the_o maiden_n answer_v to_o this_o question_n and_o say_v as_o for_o the_o first_o reason_n that_o thou_o lay_v against_o i_o that_o i_o shall_v be_v untrue_a to_o my_o father_n that_o be_v false_a for_o my_o father_n have_v plenty_n of_o riches_n and_o thy_o son_n be_v but_o poor_a and_o therefore_o i_o help_v he_o for_o pity_n and_o for_o none_o other_o say_v that_o i_o deliver_v he_o because_o of_o carnal_a lust_n i_o answer_v and_o say_v plain_o that_o it_o be_v no_o troth_n for_o all_o manor_n of_o carnal_a love_n be_v cause_n of_o strength_n or_o else_o of_o fairness_n but_o thy_o son_n be_v not_o strong_a for_o his_o imprisonment_n have_v do_v away_o his_o strength_n he_o be_v not_o fair_a for_o by_o the_o pain_n that_o he_o have_v have_v in_o prison_n he_o be_v bring_v low_a and_o unlul_o to_o the_o sight_n and_o therefore_o pity_v only_o move_v i_o to_o deliver_v he_o and_o not_o carnal_a lust_n then_o say_v the_o son_n unto_o his_o father_n dear_a father_n for_o as_o much_o as_o i_o be_v in_o peril_n of_o death_n and_o write_v unto_o thou_o that_o thou_o will_v pay_v my_o ransom_n that_o i_o may_v be_v deliver_v and_o thou_o will_v not_o help_v i_o but_o this_o damsel_n of_o her_o gentleness_n and_o for_o pity_n have_v save_v i_o from_o death_n and_o deliver_v i_o out_o of_o prison_n and_o therefore_o soth_o she_o shall_v adam_n and_o be_v cast_v into_o the_o prison_n of_o hell_n with_o great_a sorrow_n and_o pain_n his_o father_n will_v not_o ransom_n he_o that_o be_v to_o say_v the_o world_n will_v do_v nothing_o for_o he_o this_o fair_a daughter_n betoken_v the_o godhead_n which_o come_v down_o from_o heaven_n and_o take_v manhood_n of_o the_o virgin_n mary_n and_o so_o make_v a_o ghostly_a marriage_n beetwéene_v he_o and_o man_n and_o upon_o this_o condition_n he_o deliver_v mankind_n out_o of_o this_o prison_n of_o hell_n when_o he_o come_v from_o heaven_n and_o forsake_v the_o fellowship_n of_o angel_n for_o to_o dwell_v with_o we_o in_o this_o wretched_a valley_n of_o tear_n but_o the_o father_n that_o betoken_v the_o world_n grudge_v ever_o against_o he_o and_o will_v not_o suffer_v that_o
