so_o full_o exclude_v all_o merit_n see_v there_o may_v be_v some_o desert_n in_o a_o people_n which_o move_v the_o prince_n to_o take_v they_o for_o his_o subject_n but_o when_o he_o say_v you_o shall_v be_v call_v son_n it_o shut_v out_o all_o merit_n see_v no_o son_n can_v deserve_v of_o his_o father_n to_o be_v beget_v of_o he_o before_o he_o have_v his_o be_v three_o he_o use_v this_o phrase_n of_o speech_n because_o it_o contain_v god_n all_o the_o benefit_n of_o the_o gospel_n comprise_v under_o this_o title_n the_o son_n of_o god_n in_o it_o the_o sum_n of_o those_o benefit_n which_o be_v offer_v and_o bestow_v in_o the_o gospel_n &_o be_v as_o it_o be_v a_o brief_a abridgement_n of_o the_o whole_a work_n of_o our_o salvation_n for_o those_o who_o be_v son_n be_v likewise_o predestinate_a to_o eternal_a life_n see_v he_o have_v therefore_o predestine_v we_o to_o be_v adopt_v through_o jesus_n christ_n unto_o himself_o as_o it_o be_v eph._n 1._o 5._o if_o we_o be_v son_n then_o need_v we_o not_o 5._o ephes_n 1._o 5._o to_o doubt_v of_o the_o love_n of_o our_o heavenly_a father_n if_o we_o be_v son_n then_o be_v we_o call_v to_o this_o high_a dignity_n see_v inner_a man_n raise_v we_o up_o from_o the_o death_n of_o sin_n to_o holiness_n and_o newness_n of_o life_n final_o if_o we_o be_v son_n than_o also_o we_o be_v heir_n and_o coheire_n with_o christ_n of_o the_o kingdom_n of_o glory_n rom._n 8._o 17._o 17._o rom._n 8._o 17._o last_o as_o hereby_o he_o express_v the_o inestimable_a benefit_n of_o duty_n the_o name_n of_o son_n stir_v we_o up_o to_o all_o evangelicall_a duty_n the_o gospel_n so_o also_o do_v he_o hereby_o stir_v we_o up_o to_o all_o evangelicall_a duty_n for_o son_n more_o believe_v trust_v hope_v in_o love_v their_o father_n than_o people_n their_o governor_n and_o with_o more_o alacrity_n and_o diligence_n perform_v obedience_n unto_o their_o commandment_n and_o therefore_o if_o we_o be_v the_o son_n of_o god_n we_o must_v be_v mindful_a to_o perform_v these_o duty_n to_o our_o heavenly_a father_n the_o last_o thing_n to_o be_v consider_v in_o this_o royal_a dignity_n be_v that_o they_o shall_v be_v call_v the_o son_n of_o the_o live_a god_n whereby_o the_o greatness_n of_o this_o benefit_n be_v amplify_v as_o though_o he_o shall_v say_v you_o shall_v be_v the_o son_n of_o a_o god_n not_o like_a unto_o the_o idol_n and_o god_n of_o the_o heathen_a which_o either_o never_o live_v or_o but_o for_o a_o short_a time_n but_o of_o the_o eternal_a and_o ever_o live_a jehovah_n who_o be_v and_o will_v be_v ever_o willing_a and_o able_a to_o defend_v and_o provide_v for_o you_o who_o be_v his_o child_n and_o as_o hereby_o be_v signify_v the_o eternity_n of_o our_o heavenly_a father_n so_o there_o be_v imply_v also_o the_o eternity_n of_o we_o his_o child_n for_o as_o christ_n say_v god_n be_v not_o the_o god_n of_o the_o dead_a but_o of_o the_o 32._o matth._n 22._o 32._o live_n so_o may_v i_o say_v he_o be_v not_o a_o father_n of_o the_o dead_a but_o of_o the_o live_n
