right_a of_o god_n than_o eliphaz_n and_o his_o two_o friend_n in_o all_o these_o particular_n and_o whereas_o he_o sometime_o act_v impatient_o and_o speak_v uncomely_a blot_v a_o good_a cause_n with_o passionate_a and_o hasty_a word_n such_o as_o ignorant_a and_o evil_a man_n may_v make_v a_o ill_a use_n of_o and_o draw_v to_o the_o patronage_n of_o their_o profanity_n these_o proceed_v not_o out_o of_o the_o abundance_n of_o his_o heart_n but_o from_o the_o abundance_n of_o his_o pain_n under_o the_o heavy_a hand_n of_o god_n and_o when_o he_o seem_v to_o tax_v the_o judgement_n of_o god_n it_o be_v not_o any_o affirmation_n that_o god_n be_v unjust_a or_o unequal_a in_o it_o but_o a_o expostulation_n with_o he_o about_o it_o or_o as_o some_o express_v it_o a_o confession_n of_o his_o own_o ignorance_n and_o a_o earnest_a desire_n of_o clear_a light_n and_o better_a information_n concern_v the_o way_n of_o it_o but_o if_o we_o consider_v the_o sum_n of_o what_o eliphaz_n and_o his_o two_o friend_n speak_v of_o god_n we_o shall_v find_v eliphaz_n in_o this_o great_a mistake_n affirm_v that_o all_o the_o suffering_n and_o affliction_n which_o befall_v man_n in_o this_o world_n be_v lay_v upon_o he_o by_o god_n as_o a_o punishment_n for_o sin_n and_o all_o three_o join_v in_o two_o other_o mistake_n first_o that_o all_o wicked_a man_n soon_o or_o late_a be_v visible_o punish_v for_o their_o sin_n in_o this_o life_n second_o that_o though_o a_o good_a man_n may_v possible_o suffer_v grievous_a affliction_n in_o this_o life_n yet_o god_n always_o deliver_v he_o out_o of_o they_o before_o he_o depart_v this_o life_n hence_o it_o must_v needs_o follow_v that_o if_o a_o man_n for_o long_a continuance_n of_o time_n especial_o if_o all_o his_o life_n long_o he_o continue_v in_o great_a calamity_n that_o man_n must_v be_v judge_v wicked_a though_o no_o apparent_a wickedness_n can_v be_v charge_v upon_o he_o nor_o prove_v against_o he_o upon_o these_o unsound_a principle_n they_o be_v all_o confident_a to_o infer_v against_o job_n that_o he_o be_v a_o hypocrite_n and_o that_o all_o those_o trouble_n which_o befall_v he_o be_v inflict_v by_o the_o righteous_a hand_n of_o god_n as_o a_o punishment_n for_o his_o sin_n now_o if_o this_o be_v the_o sum_n of_o what_o they_o speak_v we_o have_v reason_n enough_o to_o answer_v the_o question_n propose_v that_o the_o lord_n decisive_a sentence_n between_o job_n and_o his_o friend_n respect_v what_o job_n speak_v of_o or_o to_o god_n throughout_o the_o book_n and_o be_v not_o to_o be_v understand_v only_o of_o what_o he_o speak_v towards_o the_o close_a of_o it_o you_o have_v not_o speak_v of_o i_o the_o thing_n that_o be_v right_a as_o my_o servant_n job_n have_v there_o be_v two_o part_n of_o a_o judge_n office_n first_o to_o condemn_v the_o guilty_a second_o to_o acquit_v the_o innocent_a god_n the_o great_a judge_n do_v both_o here_o the_o first_o in_o the_o former_a word_n the_o second_o in_o these_o yea_o the_o lord_n do_v not_o only_o acquit_v but_o own_o job_n in_o the_o close_a of_o all_o as_o his_o servant_n the_o lord_n say_v to_o satan_n in_o the_o first_o chapter_n have_v thou_o consider_v my_o servant_n job_n and_o here_o he_o conclude_v after_o satan_n have_v do_v his_o worst_a to_o make_v job_n quit_v the_o service_n of_o god_n in_o the_o same_o stile_n my_o servant_n job_n as_o if_o the_o lord_n have_v say_v job_n shall_v wear_v my_o livery_n still_o he_o be_v my_o servant_n still_o several_a useful_a observation_n issue_v from_o this_o latter_a part_n of_o the_o verse_n which_o i_o shall_v brief_o hint_n first_o who_o be_v these_o that_o have_v not_o speak_v aright_o they_o be_v wise_a grave_a and_o learned_a man_n yea_o they_o be_v godly_a man_n too_o hence_o note_n wise_a learned_a and_o good_a man_n may_v err_v they_o may_v err_v in_o judgement_n and_o in_o speech_n job_n friend_n speak_v many_o truth_n but_o do_v not_o apply_v they_o true_o to_o job_n case_n the_o best_a man_n may_v not_o only_o miss_v but_o mistake_v their_o mark_n they_o who_o be_v in_o the_o light_n yea_o who_o be_v light_a in_o the_o lord_n have_v yet_o some_o darkness_n in_o they_o and_o may_v both_o do_v and_o speak_v from_o that_o darkness_n such_o be_v the_o case_n of_o these_o man_n in_o the_o text_n david_n may_v be_v understand_v of_o good_a man_n in_o a_o degree_n as_o well_o as_o of_o bad_a man_n when_o he_o say_v psal_n 62.9_o man_n of_o low_a degree_n be_v vanity_n and_o man_n of_o high_a degree_n be_v a_o lie_n they_o be_v so_o both_o active_o and_o passive_o they_o may_v be_v deceive_v and_o they_o may_v deceive_v as_o when_o the_o lord_n of_o old_a hearken_v and_o hear_v they_o that_o be_v all_o wicked_a man_n speak_v not_o aright_o no_o man_n repent_v of_o his_o wickedness_n say_v what_o have_v i_o do_v jer._n 8.6_o so_o when_o the_o lord_n hearken_v and_o hear_v at_o this_o day_n they_o that_o be_v all_o
