civil_a government_n for_o a_o ordinance_n of_o god_n and_o therefore_o no_o quality_n stand_v by_o the_o foundation_n of_o the_o church_n can_v exempt_v any_o man_n from_o the_o service_n of_o his_o country_n so_o the_o privilege_n of_o the_o clergy_n it_o be_v grant_v stand_v by_o the_o civil_a law_n of_o christian_a power_n though_o oblige_v as_o not_o to_o persecute_v for_o christianity_n so_o not_o to_o hinder_v christian_n from_o dedicate_a themselves_o to_o the_o service_n of_o the_o church_n who_o upon_o those_o term_n be_v so_o dedicate_v can_v not_o be_v subject_a to_o those_o service_n of_o their_o country_n which_o all_o be_v necessary_o subject_a to_o upon_o any_o pretence_n to_o discontinue_v their_o attendance_n upon_o the_o service_n of_o the_o church_n but_o this_o exception_n be_v make_v for_o the_o rest_n that_o engagement_n to_o the_o church_n which_o the_o undertake_n of_o holy_a order_n constitute_v remain_v absolute_a suppose_v a_o disposition_n and_o resolution_n in_o he_o that_o undertake_v the_o estate_n to_o behave_v himself_o with_o that_o simplicity_n innocence_n humility_n charitablenesse_n and_o sobriety_n of_o judgement_n in_o the_o midst_n of_o the_o world_n which_o he_o undertake_v to_o converse_v with_o which_o monastical_a life_n profess_v towards_o a_o man_n self_n and_o those_o few_o from_o who_o we_o can_v reâ—ire_v this_o the_o constitution_n of_o the_o church_n and_o the_o reason_n of_o it_o this_o the_o example_n of_o the_o apostle_n and_o their_o companion_n and_o substitute_n in_o the_o scripture_n of_o the_o new_a test_n as_o partly_o of_o the_o prophet_n and_o their_o disciple_n under_o the_o old_a evidence_v no_o less_o than_o the_o canon_n
