in_o such_o sort_n as_o thou_o shall_v desire_v nothing_o so_o much_o as_o to_o be_v clear_o deliver_v quite_o discharge_v and_o altogether_o wean_v from_o all_o love_n respect_n desire_v or_o inclination_n towards_o thyself_o or_o any_o of_o my_o creature_n and_o to_o keep_v thyself_o in_o the_o same_o state_n pure_a clean_a chaste_a and_o unspotted_a to_o i_o only_o desire_v i_o with_o a_o pure_a intention_n and_o no_o other_o thing_n but_o by_o this_o mean_a i_o may_v have_v my_o will_n without_o any_o impediment_n free_o and_o whole_o fulfil_v in_o thou_o &_o by_o thou_o and_o that_o i_o only_o may_v possess_v thou_o and_o that_o there_o may_v be_v no_o space_n or_o division_n between_o thou_o and_o i_o but_o that_o thou_o may_v be_v close_o unite_v unto_o i_o have_v renounce_v and_o forsake_v all_o love_n both_o of_o thyself_o or_o any_o other_o creature_n desire_v likewise_o that_o my_o will_n may_v be_v do_v in_o all_o thing_n and_o with_o all_o man_n and_o that_o all_o man_n may_v know_v i_o love_v i_o honour_v i_o worship_v i_o and_o serve_v thou_o will_v rather_o choose_v to_o suffer_v ten_o death_n if_o thou_o be_v a_o faithful_a spouse_n unto_o i_o then_o once_o to_o consent_v to_o any_o sin_n although_o it_o be_v but_o vernal_a for_o albeit_o it_o be_v not_o like_a that_o thou_o can_v long_o stand_v in_o perfection_n without_o venial_a sin_n yet_o thou_o must_v not_o in_o any_o wise_a willing_o or_o of_o set_a purpose_n yield_v to_o any_o venial_a sin_n but_o thou_o must_v ever_o be_v full_o resolve_v in_o thy_o own_o will_v never_o to_o sin_v again_o and_o thou_o must_v fix_v and_o settle_v this_o will_n of_o thou_o in_o the_o hope_n of_o my_o grace_n and_o not_o upon_o my_o confidence_n in_o thy_o own_o ability_n i_o do_v ever_o please_v and_o delight_v he_o that_o love_v i_o and_o all_o my_o work_n and_o judgment_n seem_v sweet_a &_o pleasant_a to_o to_o he_o and_o he_o never_o cease_v to_o praise_v i_o for_o they_o he_o that_o love_v i_o need_v not_o study_v to_o find_v somewhat_o for_o which_o he_o may_v praise_v i_o for_o the_o love_n which_o he_o bare_v i_o will_v show_v unto_o he_o what_o may_v or_o aught_o to_o be_v praise_v in_o i_o and_o to_o praise_v i_o be_v no_o other_o thing_n but_o by_o love_v i_o to_o think_v upon_o i_o and_o by_o think_v upon_o i_o to_o honour_v i_o and_o by_o honour_v of_o i_o to_o wonder_v at_o my_o work_n and_o by_o wonder_v at_o my_o work_n to_o desire_v that_o all_o man_n shall_v extol_v magnify_v &_o love_v i_o my_o praise_n do_v lighten_v his_o heart_n which_o love_v i_o with_o a_o pure_a affection_n it_o do_v rejoice_v his_o spirit_n it_o drive_v away_o all_o heaviness_n from_o he_o and_o withal_o it_o be_v a_o safe_a protection_n for_o he_o both_o in_o prosperity_n and_o adversity_n whosoever_o spend_v his_o time_n in_o praise_v of_o i_o it_o make_v he_o with_o all_o fortitude_n of_o mind_n to_o contemn_v all_o the_o mischief_n that_o the_o subtlety_n of_o man_n earth_n do_v imitate_v by_o this_o mean_a the_o order_n of_o the_o celestial_a company_n in_o heaven_n as_o though_o they_o have_v receive_v here_o the_o earnest_a penny_n or_o else_o some_o sensible_a feel_n of_o eternal_a happiness_n which_o be_v only_o a_o continual_a praise_v &_o magnifi_n of_o my_o name_n for_o there_o be_v nothing_o that_o do_v so_o lively_o resemble_v the_o state_n of_o the_o bless_a happiness_n in_o the_o world_n to_o come_v as_o the_o cheerful_a &_o delightful_a voice_n of_o those_o which_o do_v praise_v my_o name_n and_o touch_v myself_o i_o be_o of_o so_o great_a majesty_n and_o omnipotency_n as_o i_o stand_v in_o need_n of_o no_o praise_n and_o no_o praise_n can_v make_v i_o more_o glorious_a than_o i_o be_o already_o neither_o be_v any_o creature_n able_a to_o praise_v and_o magnify_v i_o as_o i_o do_v deserve_v wherefore_o thou_o ought_v to_o think_v thyself_o most_o unworthy_a to_o praise_v i_o nevertheless_o desire_v yet_o to_o praise_v i_o that_o thou_o may_v know_v and_o it_o may_v appear_v manifest_a unto_o thou_o how_o that_o all_o humane_a praise_n be_v nothing_o in_o respect_n of_o my_o worthiness_n &_o how_o i_o be_o far_o great_a than_o all_o the_o praise_n that_o can_v be_v give_v i_o &_o how_o all_o creature_n when_o they_o have_v praise_v i_o as_o much_o as_o they_o be_v able_a have_v do_v it_o much_o inferior_a to_o that_o i_o be_o worthy_a of_o and_o therefore_o must_v yield_v that_o they_o be_v altogether_o insufficient_a to_o praise_v i_o and_o although_o that_o i_o declare_v unto_o thou_o how_o that_o every_o creature_n must_v give_v this_o praise_n to_o i_o yet_o i_o will_v have_v thou_o especial_o to_o imprint_v this_o lesson_n in_o thy_o mind_n that_o although_o thou_o do_v endeavour_n never_o so_o much_o to_o praise_v i_o which_o thou_o ought_v at_o all_o time_n to_o do_v with_o all_o thy_o force_n yet_o thou_o shall_v think_v that_o thou_o have_v do_v nothing_o at_o all_o i_o will_v tell_v thou_o my_o daughter_n what_o kind_n of_o praise_n do_v please_v i_o vocal_a praise_n although_o i_o will_v have_v thou_o always_o to_o use_v it_o &_o with_o thy_o voice_n to_o perform_v it_o whensoever_o thou_o be_v command_v by_o the_o precept_n of_o my_o church_n to_o say_v or_o sing_v any_o thing_n yet_o i_o must_v needs_o tell_v thou_o that_o it_o do_v please_v i_o so_o much_o as_o that_o internal_a praise_n which_o consist_v in_o the_o spirit_n a_o profound_a contemplation_n and_o perfect_a knowledge_n of_o thy_o own_o baseness_n a_o consideration_n of_o thy_o own_o weakness_n how_o thou_o be_v of_o thyself_o mere_o nothing_o and_o a_o modest_a shame_n procure_v by_o the_o mean_a of_o thy_o unworthiness_n before_o my_o majesty_n it_o be_v a_o most_o sweet_a smell_a sacrifice_n and_o a_o most_o delightful_a praise_n unto_o i_o because_o thou_o shall_v be_v bring_v by_o it_o with_o a_o shamefast_a kind_n of_o modesty_n continual_o to_o look_v into_o and_o to_o despise_v in_o my_o glorious_a presence_n thy_o own_o vileness_n deformednes_n unthankefulnes_n wretchedness_n and_o misery_n and_o be_v also_o move_v to_o acknowledge_v how_o thou_o be_v of_o thyself_o mere_o nothing_o and_o therefore_o be_v desirous_a to_o humble_a and_o subject_v thyself_o before_o i_o and_o every_o one_o of_o my_o creature_n and_o to_o be_v willing_a or_o rather_o to_o wish_v to_o be_v in_o respect_n of_o thy_o own_o baseness_n contemn_v and_o tread_v under_o of_o they_o all_o such_o a_o contrite_a and_o humble_a hart_n i_o can_v never_o despise_v yea_o the_o sorrowful_a groan_n of_o such_o a_o heart_n be_v as_o much_o sweet_a and_o worthy_a sacrifice_n unto_o i_o than_o a_o huge_a heap_n of_o many_o word_n &_o a_o tedious_a multitude_n of_o vocal_a prayer_n only_o moreover_o thou_o do_v then_o likewise_o true_o and_o righty_a praise_n i_o when_o i_o be_o as_o acceptable_a unto_o thou_o for_o send_v adversity_n as_o prosperity_n and_o when_o thou_o give_v i_o as_o many_o thanks_n and_o remain_v as_o devout_o and_o zealous_o affect_v towards_o i_o in_o thy_o own_o will_n for_o the_o one_o as_o for_o the_o other_o it_o be_v not_o also_o the_o least_o praise_n that_o thou_o may_v yield_v i_o to_o beware_v of_o sin_n to_o take_v great_a pain_n in_o seek_v after_o virtue_n to_o thirst_v for_o the_o honour_v and_o extol_v of_o thy_o name_n and_o to_o seek_v only_o for_o the_o fulfil_n of_o my_o pleasure_n and_o the_o set_n forth_o of_o my_o glory_n beside_o this_o it_o be_v a_o much_o pure_a kind_n
the_o commandment_n of_o my_o gospel_n and_o the_o precept_n of_o my_o church_n &_o when_o thou_o have_v learn_v they_o do_v not_o break_v they_o for_o the_o love_n of_o any_o earthly_a thing_n whatsoever_o an_o other_o instruction_n or_o rule_n for_o such_o as_o with_o a_o more_o fervent_a zeal_n and_o spirit_n do_v earnest_o labour_n to_o attain_v to_o perfection_n i_o have_v place_v those_o in_o this_o second_o division_n which_o forget_v clean_o all_o thing_n that_o be_v past_a desire_v ever_o to_o come_v to_o a_o better_a and_o more_o perfect_a course_n and_o therefore_o this_o
