satisfy_v for_o ourselves_o yet_o so_o long_o as_o he_o have_v perfect_o fulfil_v the_o law_n for_o we_o be_v make_v under_o the_o law_n in_o our_o steed_n and_o have_v perfect_o satisfy_v the_o justice_n of_o god_n by_o bear_v the_o curse_n for_o we_o our_o estate_n be_v good_a enough_o in_o he_o though_o never_o so_o irrecoverable_a in_o ourselves_o wherefore_o compare_v thy_o sin_n to_o be_v so_o many_o and_o so_o vile_a that_o they_o can_v be_v forgive_v the_o lord_n tell_v as_o obstinate_a and_o as_o grievous_a sinner_n as_o ever_o be_v that_o if_o they_o now_o turn_v he_o will_v repent_v he_o of_o the_o evil_a and_o consequent_o they_o shall_v be_v pardon_v will_v thou_o not_o give_v credit_n to_o god_n rather_o than_o to_o the_o devil_n this_o be_v the_o first_o doubt_n first_o part_n of_o the_o argument_n be_v apparent_o false_a and_o therefore_o such_o be_v also_o the_o conclusion_n it_o be_v false_a that_o he_o which_o have_v so_o sin_v after_o calling_n be_v but_o a_o hypocrite_n and_o be_v not_o pardon_v for_o this_o be_v the_o verycase_n of_o david_n who_o example_n we_o now_o be_v handle_v do_v not_o he_o fall_v in_o the_o self_n same_o fort_n as_o thou_o have_v say_v and_o yet_o he_o be_v no_o hypocrite_n but_o he_o be_v pardon_v i_o demand_v of_o the_o therefore_o have_v thou_o renew_v thy_o confession_n nad_z thy_o sorrow_n and_o thy_o that_o i_o have_v commit_v the_o unpardonable_a sin_n this_o argument_n must_v be_v likewise_o cast_v into_o this_o form_n whosoever_o have_v be_v guilty_a of_o long_a and_o grievous_a defection_n and_o backslide_n have_v his_o sin_n unpardoned_a and_o have_v commit_v the_o unpardonable_a trespass_n nor_o can_v be_v pardon_v now_o so_o i_o have_v do_v as_o my_o own_o heart_n be_v too_o sure_a a_o witness_n against_o i_o therefore_o i_o neither_o be_o nor_o can_v be_v pardon_v my_o answer_n to_o this_o reason_n be_v in_o the_o same_o manner_n that_o the_o former_a the_o first_o part_n of_o god_n in_o the_o name_n of_o christ_n for_o pardon_n and_o help_v 4._o a_o firm_a purpose_n and_o endeavour_v of_o amendment_n consider_v have_v thou_o not_o these_o thing_n do_v thou_o not_o perform_v these_o action_n or_o endeavour_v to_o perform_v they_o if_o thou_o do_v than_o thou_o have_v the_o grace_n of_o repentance_n as_o sure_a as_o he_o be_v a_o man_n that_o have_v a_o soul_n perform_v these_o duty_n so_o well_o as_o he_o shall_v have_v not_o true_a repentance_n this_o be_v no_o where_o find_v in_o scripture_n it_o be_v one_o of_o thy_o false_a conceit_n and_o a_o very_a false_a conceit_n it_o be_v tand_v to_o confound_v the_o law_n and_o the_o gospel_n for_o the_o law_n require_v to_o do_v all_o thing_n perfect_o and_o reject_v all_o work_n which_o a_o man_n do_v thou_o have_v not_o attain_v to_o the_o example_n of_o one_o of_o these_o yet_o have_v thou_o follow_v the_o other_o and_o again_o i_o answer_v that_o god_n do_v not_o reject_v the_o sorrow_n of_o his_o people_n because_o they_o be_v not_o so_o great_a as_o those_o which_o other_o attain_v it_o be_v not_o where_o say_v in_o scripture_n that_o he_o repent_v not_o which_o grieve_v not_o as_o much_o as_o other_o do_v or_o have_v do_v and_o for_o the_o point_n of_o grieve_v for_o sin_n understand_v that_o not_o the_o quantity_n be_v so_o much_o to_o be_v respect_v as_o the_o quality_n if_o a_o man_n grieve_v never_o so_o much_o and_o his_o grief_n carry_v he_o not_o to_o confess_v and_o seek_v pardon_n and_o grace_n and_o help_v and_o diligent_o to_o endeavour_v amendment_n they_o be_v nothing_o worth_a and_o if_o they_o do_v bring_v forth_o these_o effect_n they_o be_v accept_v though_o they_o be_v not_o very_o great_a §_o 2._o yea_o but_o say_v the_o heart_n yet_o again_o i_o can_v ask_v pardon_n earnest_o and_o hearty_o nor_o at_o all_o pray_v unto_o god_n for_o it_o with_o any_o life_n or_o fervency_n i_o answer_v why_o will_v thou_o say_v so_o that_o which_o a_o man_n desire_v more_o than_o life_n and_o more_o than_o all_o the_o profit_n and_o pleasure_n of_o life_n that_o he_o desire_v earnest_o and_o hearty_o i_o trow_v or_o else_o who_o can_v be_v say_v to_o desire_v earnest_o now_o tell_v i_o will_v thou_o not_o rather_o choose_v to_o have_v thy_o sin_n pardon_v and_o thy_o soul_n heal_v then_o to_o have_v long_a life_n great_a riches_n store_n of_o
