always_o learning_n lade_v with_o divers_a sin_n and_o lust_n but_o never_o bring_v they_o to_o the_o knowledge_n of_o the_o truth_n which_o set_v free_a from_o sin_n and_o therefore_o from_o such_o according_a to_o christ_n doctrine_n ought_v all_o people_n to_o turn_v away_o but_o what_o must_v this_o sam._n smith_n and_o his_o fellow_n who_o will_v be_v account_v master_n of_o assembly_n be_v teach_v of_o other_o indeed_o they_o stand_v in_o need_n of_o teach_v for_o they_o have_v run_v and_o god_n never_o send_v they_o and_o therefore_o they_o can_v profit_v the_o people_n at_o all_o as_o thing_n to_o tell_v they_o but_o they_o can_v not_o bear_v they_o then_o and_o for_o this_o he_o bring_v john_n 16.12_o to_o which_o i_o answer_v that_o this_o man_n here_o do_v manifest_o abuse_v scripture_n and_o by_o that_o the_o nature_n of_o his_o naughty_a spirit_n in_o all_o his_o discourse_n be_v easy_o see_v for_o here_o he_o say_v they_o have_v the_o spirit_n and_o yet_o can_v not_o bear_v christ_n word_n whereas_o christ_n in_o that_o place_n make_v the_o want_n of_o the_o come_n of_o the_o spirit_n the_o very_a cause_n why_o they_o can_v not_o then_o bear_v his_o word_n and_o therefore_o he_o say_v in_o the_o very_a next_o word_n in_o that_o of_o john_n 16.13_o howbeit_o when_v the_o spirit_n of_o truth_n be_v come_v he_o will_v guide_v you_o into_o all_o truth_n and_o show_v you_o thing_n to_o come_v and_o so_o this_o smith_n be_v one_o of_o they_o that_o abuse_v and_o wrest_v scripture_n tend_v to_o his_o own_o and_o other_o destruction_n but_o whereas_o he_o say_v that_o the_o apostle_n who_o have_v the_o spirit_n be_v capable_a of_o a_o more_o plentiful_a revelation_n than_o they_o be_v that_o be_v true_a for_o they_o to_o wit_n such_o hireling_n and_o wrester_n of_o scripture_n as_o this_o smith_n be_v be_v sensual_a not_o have_v the_o spirit_n and_o so_o be_v far_o from_o receive_v any_o vision_n or_o revelation_n from_o god_n see_v it_o be_v their_o common_a doctrine_n to_o deny_v immediate_a teach_n and_o revelation_n from_o god_n for_o that_o be_v cease_v say_v they_o but_o for_o he_o to_o say_v as_o these_o his_o word_n will_v insinuate_v that_o the_o apostle_n in_o those_o day_n be_v capable_a of_o more_o plentiful_a revelation_n than_o any_o be_v in_o these_o day_n be_v false_a for_o god_n be_v the_o same_o to_o his_o now_o as_o then_o and_o such_o as_o be_v faithful_a in_o a_o little_a now_o shall_v be_v ruler_n over_o much_o as_o well_o as_o former_o and_o say_v christ_n i_o pray_v not_o for_o these_o only_a but_o for_o all_o that_o shall_v believe_v on_o i_o through_o their_o word_n that_o they_o may_v be_v one_o as_o we_o be_v one._n and_o for_o his_o reason_n or_o proof_n that_o the_o best_a of_o the_o best_a of_o the_o saint_n and_o servant_n of_o god_n in_o this_o life_n be_v not_o capable_a of_o perfection_n the_o very_a child_n or_o schoolboy_n he_o speak_v of_o may_v come_v forth_o and_o consute_n it_o for_o what_o though_o a_o scholar_n be_v not_o perfect_a in_o his_o book_n at_o first_o do_v it_o follow_v that_o he_o never_o shall_v be_v while_o he_o live_v he_o may_v as_o well_o say_v so_o as_o the_o other_o for_o his_o comparison_n do_v utter_o make_v void_a his_o false_a doctrine_n against_o perfection_n as_o experience_n of_o all_o man_n both_o master_n and_o scholar_n prove_v but_o what_o a_o mountain_n of_o enmity_n be_v rise_v up_o in_o these_o deceitful_a teacher_n of_o these_o time_n who_o love_n to_o be_v call_v of_o man_n master_n against_o that_o heavenly_a doctrine_n of_o sinless_a perfection_n be_v manifest_a to_o all_o in_o this_o that_o though_o they_o can_v allow_v of_o a_o perfection_n in_o all_o art_n and_o science_n in_o their_o kind_n yea_o and_o of_o a_o perfection_n in_o the_o growth_n of_o all_o other_o creature_n in_o this_o kind_n but_o can_v endure_v to_o hear_v tell_v of_o much_o less_o to_o allow_v of_o a_o perfection_n in_o the_o child_n of_o the_o everlasting_a father_n god_n over_o all_o who_o be_v this_o day_n well_o witness_v upon_o his_o throne_n ever_o praise_v be_v his_o name_n bring_v forth_o his_o heavenly_a birth_n and_o babe_n and_o so_o make_v all_o thing_n new_a but_o who_o ever_o but_o this_o slanderous_a spirit_n in_o this_o smith_n say_v that_o though_o people_n have_v live_v in_o drunkenness_n swear_v and_o open_a profaneness_n many_o year_n yet_o if_o but_o once_o come_v to_o be_v lift_v as_o he_o scornful_o call_v it_o into_o that_o society_n to_o wit_n of_o such_o as_o he_o and_o the_o rest_n of_o the_o world_n in_o scorn_n call_v quaker_n that_o present_o they_o be_v perfect_a and_o without_o sin_n and_o then_o like_o the_o trouble_a sea_n he_o foam_v out_o his_o own_o shame_n and_o add_v say_v in_o that_o forementioned_a book_n i_o challenge_v all_o the_o quaker_n on_o earth_n and_o in_o hell_n to_o give_v a_o sober_a answer_n to_o these_o text_n of_o scripture_n eccles_n 7.2_o 1_o king_n 8.46_o prov._n 20.9_o answer_n by_o these_o word_n of_o this_o enemy_n of_o god_n and_o his_o perfect_a work_n in_o his_o saint_n any_o who_o judge_v in_o the_o light_n of_o god_n in_o the_o least_o measure_n may_v see_v the_o rancour_n and_o malicious_a blind_a nature_n of_o that_o spirit_n by_o which_o he_o be_v act_v o_o that_o ever_o man_n shall_v take_v upon_o they_o to_o be_v minister_n of_o the_o gospel_n as_o such_o will_v be_v account_v and_o yet_o utter_v such_o base_a word_n do_v ever_o any_o enemy_n of_o truth_n from_o the_o begin_n of_o the_o world_n to_o this_o day_n make_v such_o a_o challenge_n what!_o must_v people_n come_v out_o of_o hell_n to_o give_v thou_o a_o sober_a answer_n what!_o have_v passion_n and_o envy_n so_o blind_v thy_o heart_n as_o to_o imagine_v that_o the_o inhabitant_n of_o hell_n can_v resolve_v question_n and_o that_o in_o soberness_n nay_o nay_o they_o must_v be_v heavenly_a people_n that_o give_v true_o sober_a answer_n in_o such_o weighty_a matter_n as_o these_o and_o therefore_o thy_o unsober_a wild_a word_n in_o these_o matter_n show_v where_o thy_o dwelling_n be_v to_o wit_n not_o in_o heaven_n among_o the_o saint_n and_o spirit_n of_o just_a man_n make_v perfect_a but_o in_o the_o earthly_a sensual_a and_o devilish_a wisdom_n among_o those_o who_o be_v enemy_n to_o truth_n and_o perfection_n and_o so_o minister_n of_o antichrist_n who_o plead_v for_o sin_n during_o term_n of_o life_n and_o not_o of_o christ_n who_o come_v for_o that_o very_a end_n to_o perfect_v his_o saint_n and_o to_o present_v they_o himself_o even_o in_o this_o life_n without_o spot_n or_o wrinkle_n or_o any_o such_o thing_n eph._n 5.25_o etc._n etc._n and_o so_o the_o reproachful_a and_o malicious_a word_n of_o this_o sam._n smith_n against_o the_o people_n of_o god_n call_v quaker_n and_o their_o holy_a doctrine_n of_o perfection_n put_v aside_o i_o say_v concern_v those_o scripture_n he_o mention_n and_o first_o to_o that_o eccles_n 7.20_o for_o there_o be_v not_o a_o just_a man_n upon_o earth_n that_o do_v good_a and_o sin_v not_o that_o solomon_n here_o speak_v of_o man_n under_o the_o law_n and_o of_o the_o generation_n of_o the_o first_o adam_n in_o the_o fall_n among_o who_o there_o be_v not_o indeed_o a_o just_a man_n that_o do_v good_a and_o sin_v not_o but_o this_o do_v not_o make_v

they_o so_o set_v not_o up_o your_o rest_n in_o the_o wilderness_n much_o less_o in_o egypt_n but_o look_v towards_o the_o holy_a land_n the_o undefiled_a unmoveable_a foundation_n and_o suffer_v
