that_o which_o be_v the_o true_a mystical_a body_n of_o christ_n 2._o the_o order_n of_o ministry_n and_o government_n in_o the_o church_n for_o bring_v of_o man_n to_o that_o due_a profession_n of_o doctrine_n and_o so_o on_o to_o be_v true_a &_o lively_a member_n of_o the_o body_n of_o christ_n and_o for_o hold_v they_o in_o the_o unity_n of_o faith_n to_o this_o end_n pastor_n and_o teacher_n in_o who_o that_o ministry_n and_o government_n rest_v be_v give_v by_o our_o saviour_n eph._n 4.11_o 12_o 13._o 12._o concern_v these_o two_o thing_n be_v clear_a first_o that_o although_o apostle_n nor_o to_o be_v reiterated_a upon_o the_o return_n or_o restore_v of_o that_o person_n 12._o this_o premise_a we_o have_v two_o point_n to_o speak_v to_o first_o how_o the_o charge_n of_o heresy_n lay_v on_o those_o of_o the_o church_n of_o rome_n then_o how_o the_o lawful_a use_n of_o order_n may_v be_v supply_v by_o the_o restore_n of_o the_o person_n though_o at_o first_o they_o be_v not_o lawful_o give_v and_o so_o by_o both_o these_o we_o shall_v have_v a_o double_a answer_n to_o the_o argument_n above_o for_o the_o first_o we_o must_v note_v that_o heresy_n be_v consider_v in_o of_o the_o matter_n by_o which_o some_o may_v be_v so_o immediate_o fundamental_a as_o the_o heresy_n of_o the_o arrian_n and_o some_o other_o that_o it_o do_v ipso_fw-la facto_fw-la before_o any_o sentence_n or_o declaration_n of_o the_o church_n cut_v off_o or_o divide_v the_o person_n so_o heretical_a from_o the_o union_n of_o the_o true_a catholic_a church_n because_o it_o divide_v he_o from_o the_o foundation_n &_o from_o be_v actual_a member_n of_o the_o visible_a church_n upon_o the_o notoriety_n of_o such_o heresy_n so_o contrary_a to_o the_o foundation_n and_o also_o long_o since_o declare_v against_o by_o the_o ancient_a church_n in_o the_o four_o first_o general_n counsel_n and_o therefore_o the_o lawful_a exercise_n of_o that_o power_n he_o have_v to_o administer_v sacrament_n or_o order_n in_o the_o church_n cease_v upon_o such_o discovery_n or_o as_o i_o may_v say_v self-condemnation_n we_o need_v not_o stand_v here_o to_o dispute_v when_o or_o how_o soon_o it_o cease_v upon_o such_o heresy_n for_o we_o do_v not_o charge_v such_o heresy_n upon_o those_o of_o rome_n i.e._n heresy_n immediate_o fundamental_a or_o those_o main_a heresy_n declare_v against_o by_o the_o first_o general_n counsel_n but_o then_o we_o must_v say_v that_o many_o of_o their_o new_a article_n of_o belief_n and_o practice_n be_v in_o themselves_o heretical_a and_o as_o much_o or_o more_o than_o be_v many_o tenet_n of_o former_a heretic_n declare_v against_o by_o the_o ancient_a church_n whether_o we_o consider_v the_o matter_n and_o concernment_n of_o those_o romish_a article_n or_o the_o obstinacy_n and_o tyranny_n with_o which_o they_o assert_v and_o impose_v so_o that_o if_o there_o can_v be_v a_o full_a general_n council_n of_o the_o whole_a catholic_a church_n they_o will_v undoubted_o be_v declare_v many_o of_o they_o heretical_a 13._o from_o whence_o it_o follow_v that_o heresy_n thus_o lie_v upon_o they_o may_v give_v we_o just_a cause_n to_o renounce_v their_o error_n and_o quit_v their_o communion_n so_o far_o as_o it_o be_v necessitate_v by_o renounce_v their_o error_n though_o not_o just_a cause_n to_o condemn_v or_o renounce_v the_o order_n give_v by_o they_o or_o receive_v from_o they_o this_o may_v give_v answer_n to_o all_o the_o place_n allege_v by_o doctor_n champny_n in_o his_o nine_o cap._n pag._n 335_o 336._o out_o of_o the_o father_n against_o order_n give_v by_o heretic_n for_o they_o concern_v either_o heretic_n in_o fundamental_o or_o such_o as_o be_v declare_v so_o and_o actual_o separate_v from_o the_o unity_n of_o the_o church_n 14._o it_o be_v to_o be_v note_v far_o that_o when_o our_o first_o reform_v bishop_n be_v ordain_v by_o they_o the_o grand_a heresy_n and_o mother_n of_o their_o other_o error_n as_o to_o the_o obstinate_a a_o heretical_a defend_n of_o they_o i_o mean_v the_o papal_a power_n and_o authority_n be_v abjure_v and_o therefore_o their_o ordainer_n however_o yet_o in_o romish_a error_n can_v not_o be_v proper_o heretical_a or_o peremptory_o engage_v to_o defend_v the_o same_o as_o afterward_o they_o be_v especial_o since_o the_o council_n of_o trent_n have_v make_v they_o error_n establish_v and_o swear_v to_o but_o after_o that_o we_o go_v not_o to_o they_o for_o order_n yet_o do_v acknowledge_v they_o have_v ordination_n still_o substantial_o valid_a and_o therefore_o we_o do_v not_o re-ordain_a priest_n that_o return_v from_o they_o to_o we_o because_o the_o substance_n or_o evangelical_n institution_n be_v by_o those_o word_n receive_v the_o holy_a ghost_n who_o sin_n you_o remit_v etc._n etc._n retain_v still_o in_o the_o roman_a ordination_n though_o clog_v and_o depress_v by_o additional_a corruption_n but_o cause_v they_o to_o renounce_v those_o additional_o and_o other_o romish_a error_n so_o then_o the_o sum_n of_o our_o first_o answer_n be_v we_o do_v account_v they_o to_o be_v in_o heresy_n and_o deep_a than_o when_o we_o receive_v ordination_n from_o they_o yet_o so_o as_o not_o actual_o and_o whole_o cut_v off_o from_o the_o catholic_a church_n either_o by_o the_o nature_n of_o the_o heresy_n itself_o cast_v off_o from_o the_o foundation_n or_o by_o declaration_n of_o the_o catholic_a church_n cast_v they_o out_o of_o the_o unity_n of_o it_o and_o therefore_o it_o do_v not_o follow_v upon_o our_o account_v they_o heretic_n that_o we_o can_v not_o lawful_o receive_v order_n from_o they_o 15._o heresy_n a_o supply_n of_o defect_n in_o ordination_n through_o heresy_n our_o second_o answer_n be_v from_o the_o supply_n of_o any_o defect_n in_o our_o ordination_n receive_v from_o they_o that_o suppose_v they_o heretic_n in_o such_o a_o condition_n as_o make_v they_o forfeit_v their_o union_n which_o the_o catholic_a church_n and_o and_o proper_o the_o body_n and_o blood_n of_o christ_n be_v sacrilegious_a without_o any_o warrant_n from_o scripture_n nay_o against_o it_o plain_o and_o exceed_o derogatory_n to_o the_o sacrifice_n of_o the_o cross_n and_o therefore_o abominable_a unlawful_a altogether_o the_o other_o power_n of_o reconciliation_n or_o minister_a the_o word_n and_o sacrament_n they_o give_v for_o the_o they_o receive_v no_o order_n at_o all_o from_o the_o romish_a church_n this_o he_o endeavour_v to_o make_v good_a by_o the_o form_n of_o baptism_n which_o if_o deprave_v and_o change_v as_o to_o say_v i_o baptise_v thou_o in_o the_o name_n of_o the_o father_n who_o be_v great_a than_o the_o son_n or_o the_o like_a the_o baptism_n be_v null_a answ_n it_o be_v true_a that_o unto_o lawful_a ordination_n though_o not_o a_o sacrament_n proper_o a_o lawful_a and_o certain_a form_n be_v require_v such_o as_o may_v express_v the_o institution_n of_o the_o order_n and_o the_o function_n and_o
