prayer_n as_o a_o worship_n of_o god_n and_o be_v sincere_a in_o it_o 7._o if_o it_o be_v not_o with_o a_o sensible_a desire_n 8._o if_o it_o be_v not_o with_o attention_n of_o mind_n 9_o if_o it_o be_v not_o with_o fervour_n 10._o if_o it_o be_v not_o with_o holy_a devotion_n 11._o if_o it_o be_v not_o to_o a_o right_n and_o warrantable_a end_n 12._o and_o if_o it_o be_v not_o in_o faith_n believe_v that_o you_o shall_v have_v your_o request_n put_v up_o to_o god_n in_o manner_n as_o aforesaid_a and_o if_o it_o be_v not_o such_o a_o faith_n which_o cause_v you_o to_o wait_v patient_o then_o if_o god_n have_v not_o hear_v you_o must_v blame_v yourself_o and_o if_o you_o will_v be_v hear_v another_o time_n consider_v wherein_o you_o fail_v and_o amend_v it_o and_o particulary_a take_v heed_n that_o when_o you_o have_v endeavour_v to_o pray_v as_o well_o as_o you_o can_v that_o your_o not_o believe_v you_o shall_v be_v hear_v be_v not_o the_o chief_a cause_n why_o you_o have_v not_o your_o prayer_n grant_v it_o will_v further_o be_v object_v ob._n if_o the_o beforementioned_a fail_n may_v hinder_v the_o grant_n of_o our_o prayer_n then_o who_o can_v believe_v that_o ever_o his_o prayer_n shall_v be_v hear_v for_o who_o fail_v not_o in_o some_o or_o other_o of_o they_o i_o answer_v first_o god_n be_v many_o time_n better_a to_o we_o than_o our_o prayer_n and_o if_o he_o please_v he_o may_v grant_v our_o petition_n though_o make_v with_o some_o special_a fail_n if_o he_o do_v it_o be_v of_o his_o mercy_n if_o he_o do_v not_o the_o fault_n be_v in_o we_o but_o second_o difference_n must_v be_v put_v between_o a_o fail_a out_o of_o weakness_n and_o manifold_a temptation_n and_o that_o which_o be_v through_o wilfulness_n and_o customary_a negligence_n if_o a_o man_n conscience_n can_v witness_v to_o himself_o that_o when_o he_o pray_v the_o intent_n and_o the_o bent_n of_o his_o heart_n be_v to_o pray_v aright_o and_o not_o to_o fail_v then_o god_n reconcile_v to_o god_n by_o christ_n and_o do_v proceed_v from_o heart_n purify_v by_o faith_n and_o because_o they_o be_v put_v up_o in_o the_o name_n of_o christ_n they_o become_v acceptable_a through_o he_o so_o far_o as_o to_o procure_v not_o only_o temporal_a good_a thing_n but_o also_o such_o as_o be_v spiritual_a and_o eternal_a and_o these_o thing_n they_o obtain_v of_o god_n as_o from_o a_o love_a father_n and_o as_o a_o fruit_n of_o his_o special_a promise_n and_o out_o of_o his_o special_a grace_n and_o love_n to_o they_o in_o christ_n jesus_n as_o for_o the_o prayer_n of_o the_o wicked_a because_o god_n and_o his_o ordinance_n of_o prayer_n be_v thereby_o in_o some_o part_n honour_v they_o be_v in_o some_o part_n accept_v so_o far_o that_o many_o time_n they_o procure_v
