grievous_a this_o be_v to_o yield_v what_o they_o please_v and_o to_o desist_v where_o they_o please_v without_o any_o motive_n from_o reason_n neither_o do_v that_o parable_n teach_v that_o god_n etc._n etc._n use_v 3_o see_v we_o get_v this_o remission_n in_o christ_n his_o blood_n let_v we_o lay_v it_o up_o and_o keep_v it_o careful_o we_o keep_v all_o thing_n which_o testify_v our_o discharge_n from_o debt_n let_v we_o lay_v up_o this_o by_o faith_n in_o our_o heart_n even_o this_o pardon_n in_o christ_n his_o blood_n which_o our_o god_n give_v we_o it_o be_v a_o bless_a thing_n to_o exercise_v faith_n in_o the_o promise_n and_o seal_n which_o we_o have_v receive_v many_o measure_v themselves_o in_o god_n favour_n by_o feeling_n when_o these_o fail_n call_v all_o in_o question_n many_o seek_v comfort_n no_o further_o than_o the_o smart_n of_o terror_n drive_v they_o and_o then_o give_v over_o at_o length_n be_v distress_v with_o their_o old_a fear_n and_o doubt_n for_o wound_n over-hasty_o skin_v will_v break_v forth_o a_o fresh_a but_o not_o a_o few_o never_o exercise_v their_o sense_n in_o apprehend_v this_o benefit_n and_o so_o in_o careful_a lay_n it_o up_o they_o cause_n god_n to_o hide_v that_o comfortable_a experience_n of_o it_o to_o the_o end_n they_o may_v seek_v it_o up_o and_o keep_v it_o receive_v it_o more_o careful_o as_o if_o one_o obedience_n be_v such_o as_o cease_v justice_n justice_n it_o be_v god_n money_n but_o not_o give_v to_o buy_v with_o from_o justice_n how_o can_v god_n out_o of_o grace_n release_n to_o this_o obedience_n that_o punishment_n of_o sin_n from_o which_o now_o justice_n in_o regard_n of_o it_o have_v cease_v answ_n because_o the_o obedience_n of_o the_o son_n be_v due_a to_o the_o father_n and_o may_v be_v require_v from_o the_o son_n of_o duty_n to_o be_v reward_v at_o his_o pleasure_n if_o my_o son_n do_v that_o at_o my_o command_n upon_o which_o i_o can_v demand_v ten_o shilling_n i_o who_o have_v the_o right_n of_o my_o son_n and_o his_o work_n may_v take_v the_o whole_a and_o yet_o give_v he_o of_o grace_n what_o i_o please_v use_v 1_o it_o do_v confute_v the_o former_a to_o such_o a_o life_n so_o unutterable_o glorious_a must_v needs_o be_v the_o work_n of_o a_o power_n almighty_a but_o here_o three_o thing_n be_v for_o further_a understanding_n of_o this_o point_n to_o be_v consider_v first_o in_o what_o stand_v that_o effectual_a help_n ☜_o see_v for_o the_o finish_n of_o this_o doctrine_n that_o which_o follow_v hereafter_o at_o this_o mark_n in_o the_o margin_n ☜_o by_o which_o we_o come_v unto_o god_n second_o in_o what_o order_n it_o do_v make_v we_o come_v to_o god_n whether_o immediate_o or_o by_o some_o preparation_n go_v before_o three_o whether_o it_o leave_v the_o will_n at_o liberty_n actual_o to_o resist_v it_o yea_o or_o no._n to_o the_o first_o it_o be_v plain_a that_o the_o effectual_a help_n which_o make_v we_o come_v to_o god_n by_o belief_n be_v the_o efficacy_n of_o god_n almighty_a power_n put_v forth_o to_o such_o purpose_n for_o so_o far_o as_o god_n do_v intend_v to_o work_v so_o far_o he_o put_v forth_o his_o omnipotent_a power_n to_o accomplish_v but_o god_n do_v intend_v to_o make_v some_o before_o othersome_a come_v unto_o he_o and_z ergo_fw-la he_o do_v stretch_v out_o the_o arm_n of_o his_o power_n to_o effect_v this_o in_o they_o nevertheless_o to_o speak_v more_o full_o though_o this_o be_v the_o principal_a it_o be_v not_o the_o sole_a cause_n in_o conversion_n we_o may_v then_o consider_v three_o cause_n first_o the_o principal_a viz._n this_o power_n second_o the_o instrumental_a both_o of_o the_o word_n sound_v in_o our_o ear_n and_o that_o inward_a illumination_n and_o inspiration_n effectual_a help_n whereby_o i_o come_v to_o god_n be_v this_o it_o be_v a_o mix_a thing_n stand_v partly_o of_o that_o almighty_a power_n of_o he_o put_v forth_o for_o my_o good_a partly_o of_o that_o word_n outward_a and_o inward_a by_o and_o with_o which_o his_o power_n be_v put_v forth_o partly_o in_o that_o spirit_n of_o faith_n and_o supernatural_a life_n which_o his_o almighty_a towards_o we_o can_v be_v doubt_v when_o the_o scripture_n every_o where_o make_v he_o our_o helper_n from_o his_o mere_a grace_n if_o we_o lend_v our_o arm_n or_o hand_n to_o help_v one_o be_v no_o way_n tie_v to_o it_o it_o be_v a_o help_n give_v from_o our_o free_a favour_n that_o his_o call_n inward_a or_o outward_a and_o habit_n of_o grace_n wrought_v in_o we_o may_v be_v fit_o call_v put_v forth_o to_o execute_v his_o intention_n which_o he_o have_v of_o convert_n some_o actual_o before_o othersome_a it_o do_v not_o stand_v in_o any_o congruity_n or_o temperature_n of_o grace_n correspondent_a to_o our_o nature_n for_o this_o do_v argue_v that_o there_o be_v inward_o a_o incorrupted_a a_o connaturall_a disposition_n to_o receive_v grace_n this_o make_v the_o effect_n of_o conversion_n to_o depend_v as_o much_o on_o the_o active_a capacity_n of_o the_o will_n as_o on_o the_o grace_n of_o god_n nay_o more_o for_o it_o make_v the_o grace_n of_o god_n work_v it_o moral_o
