of_o a_o very_a great_a transgression_n if_o we_o shall_v disobey_v a_o establish_a law_n and_o break_v the_o peace_n of_o the_o church_n for_o matter_n of_o no_o high_a consideration_n than_o which_o be_v only_o verbal_a sect._n 9_o against_o other_o they_o plead_v but_o as_o dubious_a and_o disputable_a as_o not_o have_v a_o clear_a foundation_n in_o the_o scripture_n for_o their_o warrant_n for_o such_o thing_n if_o they_o have_v not_o clear_a scripture_n for_o their_o particular_a warrant_n nor_o be_v this_o always_o necessary_a in_o many_o case_n a_o general_a warrant_n be_v sufficient_a yet_o if_o there_o be_v not_o evidence_n of_o scripture_n to_o prove_v they_o unlawful_a in_o such_o a_o case_n to_o i_o statuta_fw-la majorum_fw-la prolege_n tenenda_fw-la the_o practice_n of_o our_o father_n and_o the_o command_n of_o our_o superior_n the_o establishment_n of_o our_o own_o church_n must_v be_v a_o law_n and_o be_v warrant_n enough_o for_o if_o they_o be_v dubious_a it_o be_v not_o certain_a we_o shall_v sin_v in_o the_o use_n of_o they_o but_o it_o be_v certain_a we_o shall_v sin_v against_o a_o 13.2_o a_o rom._n 13.2_o ordinance_n of_o god_n in_o disobey_v the_o law_n of_o our_o superior_n which_o be_v not_o against_o the_o law_n of_o god_n our_o brethren_n confess_v 4._o confess_v due_a account_n to_o his_o majesty_n p._n 4._o that_o public_a judgement_n belong_v to_o public_a person_n and_o if_o in_o any_o thing_n then_o without_o doubt_n in_o such_o dubious_a matter_n and_o that_o no_o man_n be_v to_o exalt_v his_o own_o understanding_n above_o its_o worth_n and_o office_n nor_o erroneous_o pretend_v god_n law_n against_o the_o just_a command_n of_o his_o superior_n nor_o the_o do_n of_o his_o duty_n to_o be_v sin_n sect._n 10_o but_o some_o thing_n they_o say_v there_o be_v that_o seem_v to_o be_v corrupt_a and_o to_o carry_v in_o they_o a_o repugnancy_n to_o the_o rule_n of_o the_o gospel_n to_o which_o i_o say_v 1._o if_o there_o be_v indeed_o such_o real_a corruption_n i_o know_v none_o that_o plead_v for_o they_o none_o do_v i_o know_v but_o will_v have_v such_o reform_v and_o not_o submit_v to_o all_o conscientious_o agree_v to_o that_o apostolical_a maxim_n 5.29_o maxim_n act._n 5.29_o it_o be_v better_a to_o obey_v god_n than_o man_n but_o then_o let_v those_o who_o disobey_v be_v sure_a of_o their_o hand_n that_o these_o thing_n wherein_o they_o obey_v not_o be_v real_o such_o as_o be_v pretend_v not_o seem_v only_o but_o real_o corrupt_v and_o repuguant_n to_o the_o holy_a rule_n sect._n 11_o 2._o note_v that_o nothing_o be_v say_v to_o be_v corrupt_a or_o indeed_o to_o carry_v such_o a_o repugnancy_n but_o only_o that_o some_o thing_n seem_v to_o be_v and_o to_o do_v so_o now_o though_o such_o a_o apparency_n may_v be_v a_o argument_n and_o so_o only_o they_o use_v it_o to_o plead_v for_o a_o alteration_n and_o do_v just_o require_v such_o amendment_n where_o there_o will_v not_o follow_v in_o the_o church_n a_o great_a mischief_n by_o a_o change_n than_o there_o be_v inconvenience_n in_o the_o non-alteration_n or_o can_v be_v good_a
