what_o shall_v we_o say_v to_o the_o order_n of_o the_o franciscan_n that_o be_v among_o they_o a_o order_n that_o make_v profession_n of_o voluntary_a misery_n as_o if_o herein_o they_o do_v approve_v themselves_o to_o be_v the_o true_a disciple_n of_o christ_n alas_o herein_o even_o baal_n priest_n and_o mahomet_n deruice_n outbid_v they_o they_o do_v something_o like_o disciple_n but_o what_o will_v you_o make_v of_o these_o man_n but_o holy_a man_n and_o bless_a martyr_n o_o but_o stay_v a_o while_n answ_n for_o religion_n and_o for_o conscience_n do_v they_o suffer_v if_o for_o pure_a religion_n and_o good_a conscience_n this_o be_v praiseworthy_a indeed_o and_o such_o suffering_n shall_v never_o go_v unrewarded_a with_o god_n but_o we_o must_v look_v well_o to_o our_o own_o shall_v be_v perfect_v second_o this_o be_v the_o time_n in_o this_o life_n of_o a_o christian_n warfare_n where_o we_o be_v to_o combat_v with_o sin_n satan_n and_o the_o world_n now_o as_o it_o be_v say_v let_v not_o he_o that_o put_v on_o his_o armour_n rejoice_v but_o he_o that_o put_v it_o off_o for_o this_o battle_n end_v not_o until_o death_n come_v when_o then_o we_o shall_v be_v out_o of_o the_o gun-shot_n of_o satan_n temptation_n and_o set_v free_a from_o all_o the_o enemy_n of_o our_o peace_n beside_o the_o lord_n will_v have_v the_o grace_n in_o the_o heart_n of_o his_o servant_n first_o exercise_v and_o make_v manifest_a to_o the_o praise_n of_o his_o own_o name_n and_o that_o in_o this_o life_n before_o he_o crown_v they_o with_o glory_n hereafter_o see_v then_o that_o the_o happiness_n of_o a_o christian_a be_v not_o to_o be_v look_v for_o here_o use_v 1_o but_o hereafter_o in_o the_o kingdom_n of_o heaven_n this_o may_v teach_v we_o in_o the_o first_o place_n to_o use_v the_o world_n as_o if_o we_o use_v it_o not_o and_o not_o to_o pitch_v our_o tabernacle_n here_o but_o rather_o to_o resolve_v that_o heaven_n be_v our_o portion_n and_o our_o inheritance_n 11.13_o heb._n 11.13_o and_o therefore_o as_o stranger_n and_o pilgrim_n we_o shall_v seek_v and_o provide_v for_o a_o abide_a city_n second_o see_v our_o chief_a happiness_n and_o comfort_n be_v not_o to_o penitent_a thief_n albeit_o true_o humble_v for_o his_o sin_n and_o obtain_v mercy_n at_o christ_n hand_n in_o the_o pardon_n of_o they_o as_o we_o shall_v see_v hereafter_o yet_o be_v not_o free_v from_o his_o remporall_a punishment_n but_o suffer_v with_o christ_n and_o herein_o will_v teach_v we_o that_o release_n from_o temporal_a affliction_n do_v not_o always_o follow_v true_a repentance_n much_o more_o will_v they_o be_v encourage_v by_o their_o example_n if_o the_o lord_n have_v any_o whit_n spare_v they_o therein_o the_o consideration_n whereof_o use_v 1_o shall_v make_v we_o careful_a by_o all_o mean_v possible_a to_o avoid_v sin_n that_o bring_v with_o it_o such_o misery_n here_o if_o not_o for_o fear_v of_o eternal_a torment_n which_o i_o confess_v all_o the_o godly_a heed_n how_o we_o censure_v other_o when_o god_n hand_n be_v upon_o they_o for_o so_o may_v god_n church_n and_o the_o dear_a of_o his_o servant_n seem_v many_o time_n to_o be_v most_o miserable_a who_o ever_o have_v such_o a_o load_n of_o sorrow_n and_o affliction_n lay_v upon_o they_o as_o christ_n himself_o have_v do_v not_o hezekiah_n complain_v that_o the_o lord_n bruise_v his_o bone_n
