god_n that_o be_v the_o fruit_n of_o the_o tree_n of_o life_n and_o not_o of_o the_o tree_n of_o knowledge_n of_o good_a and_o evil_a to_o wit_n that_o we_o permit_v god_n to_o be_v know_v love_n and_o have_v all_o thing_n in_o we_o so_o that_o he_o speak_v work_n know_v and_o love_n in_o we_o nothing_o but_o himself_o when_o

foresee_v we_o shall_v fall_v for_o he_o know_v that_o assoon_o as_o adam_n like_o god_n shall_v know_v good_a and_o evil_a he_o will_v challenge_v the_o same_o to_o himself_o and_o desire_v to_o be_v eat_v of_o the_o forbid_a tree_n for_o no_o other_o cause_n eat_v he_o thereof_o but_o only_o that_o he_o may_v obtain_v a_o great_a name_n honour_n title_n and_o glory_n that_o he_o may_v have_v fall_n and_o give_v way_n that_o man_n shall_v first_o taste_v of_o the_o bitterness_n of_o death_n before_o that_o he_o will_v give_v he_o the_o sweetness_n of_o eternal_a life_n by_o which_o he_o may_v know_v the_o better_a what_o he_o have_v in_o god_n and_o what_o that_o life_n be_v compare_v with_o death_n which_o before_o he_o taste_v beside_o it_o be_v meet_a that_o god_n suffer_v the_o not_o liberty_n and_o also_o the_o goodness_n of_o god_n and_o his_o mercy_n have_v no_o other_o object_n can_v never_o have_v be_v manifest_v in_o his_o creature_n therefore_o it_o behoove_v that_o thing_n shall_v come_v thus_o to_o pass_v by_o the_o providence_n of_o god_n and_o yield_v without_o necessity_n or_o any_o fault_n in_o god_n read_v brentius_n lib._n 4._o and_o ambros._n in_o rom._n 9_o chap._n vi_o of_o the_o 2_o kind_n of_o knowledge_n and_o will_n and_o how_o the_o one_o always_o resist_v the_o other_o there_o be_v nothing_o under_o the_o sun_n but_o it_o may_v be_v say_v to_o the_o one_o according_a to_o the_o judgement_n of_o god_n and_o the_o other_o according_a to_o the_o estimation_n and_o opinion_n of_o man_n and_o now_o see_v god_n be_v a_o spirit_n and_o man_n flesh_n contrary_a to_o the_o spirit_n it_o follow_v that_o all_o their_o judgement_n will_n knowledge_n and_o action_n be_v contrary_a and_o repugnant_a one_o to_o the_o other_o whence_o it_o be_v what_o man_n call_v good_a right_a sweet_a light_a life_n knowledge_n wisdom_n justice_n etc._n etc._n god_n esteem_v that_o to_o be_v evil_a wicked_a bitter_a darkness_n death_n foolishness_n and_o in_o adam_n to_o eat_v of_o the_o tree_n of_o knowledge_n of_o good_a and_o evil_a to_o obey_v the_o word_n of_o satan_n and_o be_v god_n therefore_o those_o that_o eat_v of_o this_o deadly_a tree_n and_o adhere_v to_o the_o word_n and_o wisdom_n of_o the_o serpent_n and_o be_v bear_v of_o satan_n these_o can_v do_v any_o thing_n that_o be_v please_v unto_o god_n as_o on_o the_o contrary_a the_o other_o do_v not_o any_o thing_n that_o be_v displease_v unto_o he_o therefore_o he_o that_o will_v be_v the_o one_o must_v bid_v adieu_o to_o the_o other_o he_o must_v put_v off_o the_o wisdom_n of_o
