redemption_n so_o he_o make_v it_o know_v unto_o we_o he_o intimate_v it_o unto_o we_o by_o our_o inward_a call_n let_v we_o both_o find_v and_o feel_v in_o our_o heart_n what_o he_o do_v in_o his_o body_n for_o us._n for_o our_o lord_n when_o he_o make_v his_o servant_n to_o proclaim_v this_o redemption_n and_o to_o intimate_v it_o to_o our_o conscience_n he_o work_v this_o jewel_n of_o faith_n in_o our_o soul_n which_o assure_v we_o that_o the_o son_n of_o god_n have_v die_v for_o us._n for_o what_o can_v it_o avail_v we_o to_o see_v our_o redemption_n to_o see_v our_o salvation_n and_o comfortable_a life_n where_o otherwise_o of_o sin_n you_o shall_v reap_v nothing_o but_o shame_n and_o everlasting_a condemnation_n i_o have_v discourse_v long_o on_o this_o head_n because_o it_o be_v ingratitude_n and_o unnatural_a behaviour_n there_o be_v no_o christian_n that_o will_v weigh_v these_o two_o in_o one_o balance_n but_o he_o shall_v conclude_v that_o it_o be_v wonderful_a why_o the_o lord_n suffer_v iniquity_n in_o this_o country_n so_o long_o to_o be_v unpunished_a former_o when_o there_o be_v but_o crumb_n of_o the_o bread_n of_o life_n they_o run_v to_o seek_v it_o so_o that_o they_o compass_v both_o sea_n and_o land_n and_o spare_v neither_o travel_n nor_o cost_n to_o be_v ingraft_v into_o the_o kingdom_n of_o christ_n but_o now_o when_o there_o be_v plenty_n of_o it_o we_o have_v take_v such_o a_o loathsomeness_n thereof_o that_o we_o abuse_v the_o liberality_n of_o god_n offer_v to_o we_o and_o turn_v his_o grace_n and_o mercy_n into_o vengeance_n on_o our_o own_o head_n for_o as_o to_o the_o multitude_n you_o see_v that_o they_o have_v already_o prefer_v the_o leaven_n of_o the_o pharisee_n and_o go_v to_o mumchance_n mumry_n and_o unknown_a language_n wherein_o they_o pudle_v before_o as_o to_o the_o noble_a and_o gentleman_n they_o be_v so_o drunken_a with_o sacrilege_n that_o rather_o than_o they_o will_v render_v these_o good_n
mercy_n of_o god_n he_o shall_v find_v it_o terrible_a to_o fall_v into_o his_o hand_n it_o be_v terrible_a to_o fall_v into_o the_o hand_n of_o a_o consume_a fire_n sport_n with_o flesh_n as_o they_o please_v but_o jest_v not_o with_o god_n he_o shall_v find_v in_o experience_n if_o he_o run_v out_o this_o course_n that_o he_o shall_v curse_v the_o day_n of_o his_o birth_n &_o disclaim_v the_o and_o by_o all_o kind_n of_o humble_a gesture_n he_o obtain_v mercy_n so_o that_o the_o lord_n do_v cast_v his_o whole_a sin_n behind_o his_o back_n the_o cause_n that_o move_v the_o lord_n to_o show_v mercy_n he_o note_v in_o the_o midst_n of_o that_o verse_n there_o be_v no_o occasion_n in_o the_o king_n for_o he_o deserve_v the_o contrary_a it_o be_v only_o the_o love_n of_o the_o lord_n only_o the_o kindness_n of_o the_o lord_n in_o christ_n jesus_n his_o messiah_n who_o be_v to_o come_v of_o this_o king_n himself_o in_o the_o manner_n of_o his_o deliverance_n this_o king_n correct_v in_o we_o but_o sin_n there_o be_v nothing_o that_o his_o furious_a jealousy_n can_v burn_v up_o but_o sin_n there_o be_v nothing_o that_o he_o can_v purge_v in_o we_o but_o sin_n take_v away_o sin_n and_o the_o punishment_n of_o the_o wicked_a shall_v cease_v yea_o there_o shall_v be_v no_o such_o thing_n as_o a_o wicked_a one_o and_o the_o purgation_n of_o the_o godly_a shall_v not_o need_v so_o both_o punishment_n and_o purgation_n shall_v cease_v sin_n be_v take_v way_n for_o sin_n be_v the_o only_a thing_n that_o be_v punish_v in_o they_o and_o purge_v in_o us._n now_o the_o disease_n the_o unhappy_a world_n when_o they_o be_v visit_v with_o any_o disease_n they_o run_v only_o to_o the_o body_n and_o seek_v the_o cause_n of_o the_o disease_n only_o in_o the_o body_n as_o though_o the_o body_n have_v the_o only_a wit_n they_o run_v never_o to_o the_o soul_n when_o in_o the_o mean_a time_n the_o body_n be_v but_o a_o instrument_n to_o the_o soul_n for_o if_o the_o soul_n be_v well_o it_o be_v impossible_a that_o we_o can_v be_v disease_v therefore_o see_v the_o cause_n of_o the_o disease_n lurk_v in_o the_o soul_n when_o the_o lord_n visit_v you_o with_o any_o disease_n run_v to_o the_o soul_n acknowledge_v that_o sin_n be_v the_o cause_n lay_v the_o fault_n where_o it_o be_v and_o crave_v mercy_n of_o god_n for_o this_o be_v the_o ready_a way_n to_o cure_v god_n in_o christ_n jesus_n that_o be_v the_o only_a cause_n of_o his_o deliverance_n thus_o far_o for_o the_o meaning_n of_o the_o word_n now_o let_v we_o mark_v the_o form_n of_o speech_n the_o form_n be_v this_o because_o say_v he_o he_o have_v cast_v all_o my_o sin_n behind_o his_o back_n this_o form_n of_o speech_n be_v borrow_v from_o our_o custom_n for_o those_o thing_n that_o man_n may_v not_o behold_v that_o be_v filthy_a and_o abominable_a we_o cast_v they_o behind_o our_o back_n that_o we_o may_v not_o see_v they_o forget_v now_o sin_n be_v the_o only_a thing_n which_o be_v abominable_a in_o the_o presence_n of_o god_n when_o he_o forgive_v we_o our_o sin_n he_o be_v say_v to_o cast_v they_o behind_o his_o back_n the_o only_a thing_n that_o hide_v the_o countenance_n of_o god_n from_o we_o be_v sin_n for_o there_o be_v nothing_o that_o can_v separate_v man_n from_o his_o creator_n but_o sin_n only_o and_o what_o lose_v we_o when_o we_o be_v separate_v from_o the_o countenance_n of_o god_n we_o lose_v true_a pleasure_n and_o perfect_a pleasure_n there_o can_v neither_o be_v true_a nor_o perfect_a pleasure_n but_o in_o the_o sight_n and_o countenance_n of_o god_n and_o while_o we_o be_v by_o sin_n debar_v from_o his_o countenance_n we_o be_v deprive_v both_o of_o true_a and_o perfect_a pleasure_n then_o the_o diligent_a care_n of_o a_o christian_a shall_v stand_v in_o this_o that_o sin_n debar_v he_o not_o from_o the_o countenance_n of_o god_n but_o we_o shall_v be_v diligent_a in_o beg_v mercy_n for_o christ_n his_o cause_n that_o enjoy_v his_o raise_v his_o body_n from_o the_o grave_n and_o as_o the_o spirit_n of_o life_n be_v the_o only_a cause_n that_o make_v we_o to_o praise_v he_o in_o our_o body_n so_o that_o same_o spirit_n make_v we_o to_o praise_v he_o out_o of_o these_o body_n by_o reason_n suppose_v we_o be_v absent_a in_o body_n yet_o be_v present_a in_o our_o soul_n with_o the_o lord_n for_o the_o word_n rom._n 8_o be_v not_o off_o at_o all_o now_o of_o this_o i_o shall_v mark_v one_o or_o two_o thing_n observation_n take_v up_o the_o end_n wherefore_o the_o lord_n deliver_v any_o person_n city_n or_o country_n from_o any_o trouble_n within_o or_o without_o the_o chief_a end_n of_o his_o delivery_n be_v this_o that_o that_o person_n city_n or_o country_n may_v serve_v as_o a_o instrument_n to_o preach_v country_n to_o grow_v so_o fast_o that_o can_v look_v for_o any_o redress_n of_o these_o thing_n in_o his_o own_o time_n so_o here_o beneath_o be_v no_o comfort_n all_o run_v on_o to_o such_o a_o desolation_n and_o miserable_a confusion_n that_o of_o all_o life_n of_o the_o earth_n our_o life_n be_v most_o miserable_a if_o we_o have_v not_o a_o sight_n of_o a_o better_a for_o all_o joy_n to_o be_v look_v for_o here_o beneath_o be_v take_v away_o well_o i_o leave_v this_o second_o part_n and_o come_v to_o the_o last_o the_o three_o part_n of_o this_o song_n be_v in_o this_o 20._o verse_n which_o be_v the_o conclusion_n of_o the_o whole_a song_n in_o this_o conclusion_n the_o king_n testify_v that_o he_o will_v not_o only_a praise_n god_n for_o the_o present_a for_o the_o benefit_n this_o dead_a sleep_n till_o they_o be_v waken_v with_o a_o terrible_a waken_n by_o god_n the_o righteous_a judge_n from_o heaven_n take_v heed_n for_o this_o be_v the_o truth_n and_o at_o that_o waken_n he_o shall_v make_v the_o terror_n of_o these_o same_o sin_n which_o if_o they_o have_v follow_v counsel_n they_o may_v have_v eschew_v terrrible_o to_o overwhelm_v they_o now_o the_o conscience_n be_v at_o quietness_n and_o rest_n and_o hold_v thou_o in_o security_n but_o alas_o it_o be_v a_o fester_a security_n the_o inward_a heart_n be_v full_a of_o filth_n which_o filthiness_n shall_v bring_v such_o terror_n in_o the_o end_n with_o it_o that_o it_o shall_v multiply_v thy_o torment_n and_o so_o oppress_v thou_o except_o in_o time_n thou_o search_v out_o the_o bottom_n of_o thy_o conscience_n therefore_o be_v not_o deceive_v as_o you_o be_v come_v into_o this_o world_n to_o serve_v &_o glorify_v he_o so_o every_o one_o in_o your_o own_o rank_n and_o calling_n be_v upright_o you_o deal_v upright_o in_o you_o call_v when_o you_o have_v the_o warrant_n of_o the_o word_n for_o the_o warrant_n of_o the_o word_n be_v not_o changeable_a it_o come_v not_o under_o purchase_a remission_n of_o thy_o sin_n and_o peace_n in_o the_o body_n and_o blood_n of_o christ_n jesus_n so_o of_o all_o conscience_n the_o bite_a conscience_n be_v not_o the_o worst_a but_o be_v in_o the_o second_o rank_n it_o send_v thou_o to_o seek_v remedy_n only_o of_o this_o beware_v that_o thou_o furnish_v not_o matter_n to_o her_o bite_n by_o increase_v of_o further_a corruption_n but_o ever_o cast_v out_o sin_n whereby_o god_n be_v offend_v and_o this_o bite_a nourish_v and_o in_o the_o end_n thou_o shall_v find_v a_o true_a pacification_n and_o a_o taste_n of_o the_o right_a peace_n that_o flow_v from_o christ_n jesus_n which_o peace_n pass_v all_o understanding_n to_o come_v to_o the_o particular_a the_o lord_n be_v not_o rise_v as_o yet_o in_o this_o country_n albeit_o he_o have_v sit_v long_o and_o why_o have_v he_o sit_v but_o to_o see_v if_o his_o enemy_n will_v repent_v and_o have_v this_o take_a effect_n no_o for_o he_o have_v not_o great_a enemy_n in_o any_o part_n then_o the_o great_a man_n in_o this_o country_n where_o his_o word_n be_v so_o clear_o preach_v so_o that_o the_o great_a the_o knowledge_n be_v the_o great_a be_v the_o contempt_n and_o the_o great_a the_o contempt_n be_v the_o heavy_a must_v the_o judgement_n be_v that_o abide_v they_o now_o in_o all_o this_o time_n of_o the_o lord_n sit_v what_o be_v they_o do_v they_o be_v burn_v and_o scald_a slay_v and_o murder_v and_o use_v all_o kind_n of_o oppression_n and_o rage_v so_o as_o if_o there_o be_v not_o a_o king_n in_o israel_n well_o the_o lord_n sit_v not_o to_o this_o end_n that_o they_o shall_v abuse_v his_o patience_n he_o sit_v not_o that_o they_o shall_v be_v confirm_v in_o their_o cruelty_n that_o they_o shall_v lose_v their_o knowledge_n or_o think_v that_o
