which_o be_v positive_a and_o have_v more_o of_o this_o will_n in_o it_o though_o as_o i_o show_v it_o be_v a_o moral_a impotency_n the_o opposition_n to_o this_o work_n which_o will_v show_v you_o that_o corrupt_a man_n be_v by_o his_o own_o will_v opposite_o carry_v towards_o god_n and_o this_o point_n as_o the_o former_a speak_v general_o to_o the_o opposition_n that_o there_o be_v in_o man_n to_o god_n or_o to_o the_o holiness_n of_o god_n in_o two_o thing_n first_o his_o contrariety_n second_o his_o enmity_n to_o the_o holiness_n of_o god_n or_o his_o law_n and_o it_o speak_v particular_o to_o the_o opposition_n that_o corrupt_a man_n do_v make_v to_o christ_n or_o the_o grace_n of_o christ_n that_o be_v offer_v in_o the_o gospel_n and_o that_o also_o in_o two_o thing_n first_o his_o averseness_n to_o come_v and_o second_o his_o resistance_n of_o grace_n when_o it_o be_v offer_v to_o he_o in_o which_o four_o step_n this_o opposition_n may_v be_v handle_v and_o manifest_o see_v show_v you_o thereby_o what_o a_o miserable_a thing_n a_o natural_a man_n be_v be_v in_o statu_fw-la belli_fw-la in_o a_o state_n of_o war_n and_o hostility_n against_o the_o great_a god_n his_o law_n his_o grace_n and_o consequent_o a_o enemy_n and_o opposite_a to_o his_o own_o happiness_n and_o this_o point_n shall_v be_v open_v to_o you_o to_o this_o end_n to_o vilify_v and_o depress_v the_o pretend_a pride_n or_o worthiness_n of_o man_n and_o to_o exalt_v the_o freeness_n and_o power_n of_o god_n grace_n in_o the_o salvation_n of_o man_n for_o there_o be_v two_o eminent_a christ_n from_o the_o dead_a we_o need_v not_o be_v ashamed_a to_o say_v that_o god_n put_v forth_o a_o almighty_a power_n in_o make_v man_n believe_v nor_o to_o look_v upon_o it_o as_o a_o uncouth_a expression_n three_o i_o observe_v from_o this_o point_n how_o impotent_a and_o unable_a man_n be_v to_o that_o which_o be_v his_o great_a concernment_n i_o know_v we_o be_v weak_a in_o other_o rote_n i_o think_v many_o time_n that_o it_o be_v impossible_a to_o keep_v the_o law_n of_o god_n but_o will_v not_o grant_v but_o that_o you_o can_v believe_v and_o yet_o let_v it_o be_v observe_v here_o that_o god_n hereby_o signify_v that_o you_o be_v as_o impotent_a to_o this_o that_o be_v the_o great_a concernment_n of_o man_n as_o to_o any_o thing_n else_o and_o there_o may_v be_v a_o four_o thing_n observable_a god_n that_o thus_o employ_v his_o power_n do_v it_o in_o his_o draw_a man_n to_o christ_n see_v the_o method_n whereby_o god_n will_v save_v you_o he_o will_v not_o go_v to_o bring_v you_o to_o the_o father_n himself_o the_o father_n to_o the_o father_n immediate_o as_o to_o a_o absolute_a judge_n as_o luther_n say_v what_o have_v i_o to_o do_v with_o a_o absolute_a god_n he_o will_v damn_v i_o and_o not_o abate_v i_o a_o farthing_n of_o the_o righteousness_n of_o the_o law_n which_o i_o can_v keep_v it_o be_v true_a he_o can_v have_v make_v man_n able_a to_o do_v he_o bring_v man_n to_o christ_n sure_o god_n be_v so_o strict_a in_o keep_v the_o way_n that_o he_o have_v set_v for_o save_a man_n because_o that_o be_v his_o covenant_n and_o therefore_o bring_v to_o his_o son_n christ_n that_o he_o may_v save_v they_o and_o as_o the_o husbandman_n will_v graft_v you_o into_o he_o and_o let_v this_o that_o be_v god_n way_n be_v your_o way_n if_o you_o can_v find_v another_o do_v not_o look_v after_o it_o by_o this_o you_o shall_v know_v the_o power_n of_o god_n whether_o it_o be_v in_o you_o by_o this_o which_o be_v the_o work_n of_o it_o it_o twice_o god_n creature_n i_o may_v safe_o call_v he_o so_o once_o as_o he_o be_v a_o man_n in_o his_o natural_a estate_n make_v up_o of_o soul_n and_o body_n next_o as_o a_o regenerate_a man_n create_v in_o christ_n and_o if_o man_n consider_v it_o well_o that_o a_o believer_n be_v call_v a_o new_a man_n a_o new_a creature_n why_o shall_v there_o be_v less_o power_n why_o shall_v we_o think_v it_o less_o work_n to_o make_v a_o new_a man_n then_o to_o make_v a_o man_n to_o be_v lay_v your_o head_n to_o consider_v this_o point_n and_o you_o will_v find_v it_o very_o difficult_a why_o it_o shall_v be_v more_o the_o hand_n of_o god_n in_o this_o then_o to_o make_v man_n to_o be_v man_n have_v a_o natural_a life_n what_o be_v that_o to_o the_o purpose_n for_o natural_a life_n be_v but_o a_o death_n in_o comparison_n and_o therefore_o it_o be_v say_v they_o that_o be_v dead_a in_o trespass_n and_o sin_n have_v he_o quicken_v and_o whereas_o there_o be_v in_o the_o matter_n of_o our_o first_o creation_n no_o propension_n to_o become_v a_o man_n more_o
not_o possible_a that_o he_o shall_v be_v hold_v of_o it_o act_v 2._o 24._o so_o shall_v the_o cord_n of_o thy_o spiritual_a death_n be_v loose_v also_o if_o you_o belong_v to_o the_o election_n on_o
