what_o be_v in_o like_a manner_n suppose_v namely_o that_o not_o to_o be_v unrighteous_a which_o a_o man_n be_v on_o the_o pardon_n of_o sin_n be_v the_o same_o with_o be_v righteous_a for_o if_o not_o to_o be_v unrighteous_a be_v take_v privative_o it_o be_v the_o same_o with_o be_v just_a or_o righteous_a for_o it_o suppose_v that_o he_o who_o be_v so_o have_v do_v all_o the_o duty_n that_o be_v require_v of_o he_o that_o he_o may_v be_v righteous_a but_o not_o to_o be_v unrighteous_a negative_o as_o the_o expression_n be_v here_o use_v it_o do_v not_o do_v so_o for_o at_o best_o it_o suppose_v no_o more_o but_o that_o a_o man_n as_o yet_o have_v do_v nothing_o actual_o against_o the_o rule_n of_o righteousness_n now_o this_o may_v be_v when_o yet_o he_o have_v perform_v none_o case_n of_o sin_n do_v not_o oblige_v unto_o punishment_n and_o obedience_n both_o so_o as_o that_o it_o be_v not_o satisfy_v fulfil_v or_o comply_v withal_o unless_o it_o be_v answer_v with_o respect_n unto_o both_o for_o if_o it_o do_v so_o than_o the_o pardon_n of_o sin_n which_o only_o free_v we_o from_o the_o penalty_n of_o the_o law_n do_v yet_o leave_v it_o necessary_a that_o obedience_n be_v perform_v unto_o it_o even_o all_o that_o it_o do_v require_v but_o this_o in_o my_o judgement_n be_v a_o evident_a mistake_n and_o that_o such_o as_o do_v not_o establish_v the_o law_n but_o make_v it_o void_a and_o this_o i_o shall_v demonstrate_v 1._o the_o law_n have_v two_o part_n or_o power_n 1._o it_o be_v preceptive_a part_n command_v and_o require_v obedience_n with_o a_o promise_n of_o life_n annex_v do_v this_o and_o live_v 2._o the_o sanction_n on_o supposition_n of_o disobedience_n bind_v the_o sinner_n unto_o punishment_n or_o a_o meet_a recompense_n of_o reward_n in_o the_o day_n thou_o sin_v thou_o shall_v die_v and_o every_o law_n proper_o so_o call_v proceed_v on_o these_o supposition_n of_o obedience_n or_o disobedience_n whence_o its_o command_a and_o punish_v power_n be_v inseparate_a from_o its_o nature_n 2._o this_o law_n whereof_o we_o speak_v be_v first_o give_v unto_o man_n in_o innocency_n and_o therefore_o the_o first_o power_n of_o
