flesh_n to_o be_v meat_n indeed_o and_o his_o blood_n to_o be_v drink_n indeed_o and_o some_o thought_n it_o a_o hard_a or_o difficult_a say_n john_n 6._o 55._o 60_o &c_n &c_n that_o he_o may_v demonstrate_v and_o make_v it_o more_o easy_a to_o their_o understanding_n he_o say_v what_o and_o if_o you_o shall_v see_v the_o son_n of_o man_n ascend_v up_o where_o he_o be_v before_o it_o be_v the_o spirit_n that_o quicken_v the_o flesh_n profit_v nothing_o the_o word_n that_o i_o speak_v unto_o you_o they_o be_v spirit_n and_o they_o be_v life_n in_o all_o which_o he_o signify_v as_o be_v so_o glorify_v be_v spiritual_a meat_n indeed_o the_o bread_n of_o life_n and_o be_v virtual_o so_o before_o but_o be_v now_o full_o make_v so_o for_o we_o and_o also_o manifest_v so_o to_o we_o by_o that_o spirit_n that_o raise_v he_o from_o the_o dead_a breathe_v in_o and_o present_a with_o the_o preach_v of_o his_o cross_n in_o which_o preach_v the_o preciousness_n of_o his_o cross_n be_v commend_v in_o this_o that_o he_o that_o suffer_v be_v raise_v and_o glorify_v in_o the_o same_o body_n and_o now_o appear_v in_o the_o presence_n of_o god_n for_o we_o by_o virtue_n of_o which_o it_o be_v make_v in_o the_o preach_a of_o it_o bread_n of_o life_n indeed_o and_o so_o his_o word_n declare_v he_o that_o once_o suffer_v in_o the_o flesh_n to_o be_v so_o raise_v and_o glorify_v as_o aforesaid_a be_v spirit_n and_o life_n as_o also_o rom._n 10._o 9_o these_o man_n therefore_o be_v of_o no_o judgement_n concern_v the_o faith_n forasmuch_o as_o that_o which_o our_o saviour_n give_v as_o the_o reason_n why_o his_o flesh_n be_v meat_n indeed_o and_o his_o blood_n drink_v indeed_o namely_o that_o god_n will_v give_v he_o glory_n as_o the_o fruit_n of_o it_o they_o imply_v at_o that_o be_v meat_n indeed_o and_o drink_v indeed_o according_a to_o the_o plain_a import_n of_o his_o word_n and_o so_o in_o this_o implication_n they_o signify_v not_o only_o as_o we_o have_v note_v of_o they_o upon_o the_o first_o part_n of_o this_o question_n that_o in_o his_o be_v make_v a_o quicken_a spirit_n they_o fancy_v a_o nullify_n of_o the_o real_a be_v of_o that_o body_n of_o his_o flesh_n in_o which_o they_o grant_v he_o once_o suffer_v but_o also_o that_o by_o his_o flesh_n and_o his_o blood_n which_o be_v meat_n and_o drink_n indeed_o they_o mean_v not_o that_o flesh_n once_o give_v for_o the_o life_n of_o the_o world_n nor_o that_o blood_n once_o shed_v for_o the_o remission_n of_o sin_n or_o his_o once_o suffering_n in_o the_o flesh_n to_o the_o shed_v of_o his_o blood_n as_o also_o more_o plain_o appear_v in_o their_o next_o question_n 2._o their_o sensuality_n not_o have_v the_o spirit_n appear_v at_o least_o if_o we_o consider_v their_o sense_n of_o its_o be_v nigh_o in_o their_o say_n that_o the_o flesh_n and_o blood_n of_o christ_n be_v so_o nigh_o to_o

be_v they_o not_o then_o clear_o enough_o reprobate_n concern_v the_o faith_n of_o it_o its_o probable_a that_o by_o the_o spiritual_a body_n that_o be_v raise_v they_o mean_v nothing_o else_o but_o the_o church_n the_o body_n of_o christ_n which_o be_v dead_a in_o sin_n and_o trespass_n before_o quicken_v by_o he_o as_o ephes_n 2._o 4_o 5._o and_o if_o they_o say_v no_o we_o challenge_v they_o to_o answer_v what_o that_o be_v that_o be_v dead_a &_o be_v raise_v a_o spiritual_a body_n if_o not_o the_o church_n of_o christ_n as_o be_v in_o the_o world_n in_o its_o several_a age_n they_o tell_v how_o they_o put_v the_o fool_n upon_o we_o its_o i_a kely_a for_o believe_v the_o resurrection_n of_o the_o body_n which_o the_o apostle_n put_v upon_o the_o denier_n of_o it_o and_o so_o rather_o appertain_v to_o they_o how_o they_o answer_v we_o plain_o and_o we_o will_v not_o be_v satisfy_v that_o it_o be_v sow_o a_o natural_a body_n and_o be_v raise_v a_o spiritual_a body_n reply_v but_o yet_o when_o we_o ask_v what_o that_o it_o be_v that_o be_v sow_o a_o natural_a body_n and_o shall_v be_v raise_v a_o spiritual_a body_n they_o will_v never_o tell_v we_o and_o how_o then_o shall_v we_o be_v satisfy_v with_o their_o answer_n they_o say_v the_o apostle_n do_v not_o say_v that_o that_o which_o die_v or_o be_v sow_o which_o be_v earthly_a shall_v rise_v judge_v reader_n say_v not_o the_o apostle_n it_o be_v sow_o a_o natural_a body_n it_o be_v raise_v a_o spiritual_a body_n and_o this_o corruptible_a shall_v put_v on_o in-corruption_n now_o be_v not_o the_o natural_a body_n a_o earthly_a body_n and_o be_v not_o this_o corruptible_a a_o earthly_a body_n be_v not_o that_o a_o earthly_a body_n that_o be_v lay_v in_o the_o grave_n and_o be_v corruptible_a and_o if_o this_o corruptible_a put_v on_o incorruption_n and_o this_o mortal_a and_o be_v not_o that_o the_o earthly_a body_n put_v on_o immortality_n then_o do_v not_o this_o corruptible_a and_o earthly_a body_n rise_v incorruptible_a and_o this_o mortal_a rise_v immortal_a be_v it_o not_o as_o plain_a as_o the_o sun_n if_o it_o be_v this_o mortal_a that_o be_v now_o mortal_a that_o put_v on_o immortality_n than_o its_o this_o that_o be_v now_o mortal_a that_o shall_v be_v in_o the_o resurrection_n immortal_a and_o if_o this_o that_o be_v now_o mortal_a shall_v put_v on_o immortality_n than_o this_o that_o be_v now_o mortal_a be_v not_o to_o be_v annihilate_v and_o lose_v for_o how_o can_v that_o that_o be_v not_o put_v on_o any_o thing_n much_o less_o immortality_n the_o mortal_a shall_v loose_v its_o mortality_n and_o put_v on_o immortality_n and_o the_o corruptible_a shall_v loose_v corruption_n and_o corruptibility_n and_o put_v on_o incorruption_n but_o the_o corruptible_a itself_o and_o the_o mortal_a itself_o shall_v not_o be_v lose_v but_o rise_v incorruptible_a and_o immortal_a they_o say_v they_o tell_v we_o that_o which_o thou_o sowe_v be_v not_o quicken_v except_o it_o die_v and_o that_o which_o thou_o sowe_v thou_o sowe_v not_o that_o body_n which_o shall_v be_v mark_n thou_o sowe_v not_o that_o body_n that_o shall_v be_v but_o bare_a grain_n etc._n etc._n which_o they_o say_v be_v contrary_a to_o what_o we_o affirm_v that_o the_o same_o body_n namely_o that_o die_v or_o be_v sow_v in_o the_o earth_n shall_v rise_v again_o reply_n now_o reader_n form_n or_o condition_n therefore_o he_o say_v bare_a grain_n as_o if_o he_o shall_v say_v thou_o sowe_v it_o not_o in_o stalk_n and_o blade_n and_o ear_n and_o kernel_n in_o the_o husk_n as_o it_o shall_v be_v but_o bare_a grain_n and_o in_o that_o thou_o sowe_v not_o that_o body_n that_o shall_v be_v but_o he_o say_v not_o that_o body_n thou_o sowe_v shall_v not_o come_v again_o in_o another_o not_o contrary_a to_o what_o we_o further_o say_v viz._n it_o be_v the_o same_o that_o be_v sow_o which_o be_v raise_v though_o it_o rise_v not_o the_o same_o in_o the_o same_o quality_n and_o condition_n as_o its_o the_o same_o bare_a grain_n that_o be_v sow_o that_o come_v up_o or_o be_v quicken_v if_o it_o die_v but_o it_o come_v not_o up_o the_o same_o bare_a grain_n but_o in_o the_o body_n that_o god_n give_v it_o for_o the_o body_n be_v change_v as_o to_o its_o quality_n and_o form_n so_o it_o be_v sow_o a_o mortal_a body_n and_o the_o same_o mortal_a body_n that_o be_v sow_o shall_v rise_v but_o it_o shall_v not_o rise_v the_o same_o mortal_a body_n it_o shall_v rise_v immortal_a can_v any_o thing_n be_v more_o plain_a we_o say_v the_o same_o body_n that_o die_v or_o be_v sow_o in_o the_o earth_n shall_v rise_v but_o we_o say_v not_o that_o its_o the_o same_o body_n that_o die_v or_o be_v sow_o in_o the_o earth_n that_o it_o shall_v be_v when_o it_o rise_v and_o therefore_o say_v not_o any_o thing_n contrary_a to_o the_o apostle_n say_v we_o say_v not_o man_n body_n
preciousness_n thereof_o for_o our_o help_n which_o be_v show_v in_o the_o discovery_n of_o he_o as_o now_o raise_v from_o the_o dead_a in_o the_o same_o body_n in_o which_o he_o suffer_v those_o as_o be_v foreshow_v yea_o neither_o be_v it_o so_o manifest_v in_o or_o to_o the_o mind_n or_o spirit_n of_o all_o to_o who_o they_o witness_v it_o to_o a_o open_n of_o their_o eye_n and_o move_v to_o repentance_n for_o they_o witness_v to_o small_a and_o great_a to_o every_o creature_n of_o mankind_n and_o so_o unto_o such_o as_o yet_o be_v not_o capable_a of_o hear_v or_o attend_v to_o the_o thing_n speak_v by_o they_o and_o so_o of_o who_o therefore_o no_o such_o thing_n be_v require_v yet_o they_o witness_v it_o unto_o such_o in_o as_o much_o as_o they_o so_o preach_v it_o as_o all_o
