because a man is as hardly to be stirred and pulled out of sinne as a man in a dead sleepe to bee awaked and to leape out of his bed As the Serpents sting darted into a mans legge doeth by litle and litle drawe the bodie to sleepe and that vnto the death the venome thereby the sooner exhaust of the heart so the Serpent and Dragon of Hell hauing pearced a man with his venemous dartes of Covetousnes Idolatrie Theft Adulterie Murther Drunkennes Lying Pride c.
