a_o sin_n that_o thou_o have_v indulge_v and_o cherish_v in_o thy_o bosom_n or_o at_o least_o too_o much_o connive_v at_o if_o you_o keep_v not_o yourselves_o from_o these_o your_o peculiar_a sin_n you_o will_v not_o be_v able_a to_o entertain_v your_o affliction_n patient_o and_o much_o less_o will_v you_o be_v able_a to_o bear_v they_o cheerful_o as_o it_o become_v you_o to_o do_v nor_o will_v you_o be_v able_a to_o bear_v the_o thought_n of_o death_n comfortable_o or_o indeed_o without_o dread_n and_o terror_n upon_o your_o spirit_n while_o you_o remain_v under_o the_o guilt_n and_o power_n of_o these_o your_o iniquity_n though_o it_o shall_v be_v only_o the_o tyrannize_a and_o not_o the_o reign_a power_n of_o they_o as_o therefore_o you_o will_v bear_v affliction_n and_o entertain_v death_n and_o the_o thought_n of_o it_o comfortable_o labour_n after_o this_o proof_n of_o your_o sincerity_n that_o you_o keep_v yourselves_o from_o your_o iniquity_n and_o now_o have_v therefore_o as_o you_o will_v keep_v yourselves_o from_o your_o iniquity_n keep_v a_o sense_n of_o the_o odiousness_n and_o bitterness_n of_o they_o upon_o your_o heart_n ii_o be_v earnest_n and_o importunate_a in_o prayer_n to_o god_n as_o for_o pardon_n of_o so_o for_o power_n against_o these_o thy_o special_a iniquity_n beg_v earnest_o for_o special_a grace_n and_o strength_n against_o thy_o special_a sin_n when_o thou_o have_v find_v out_o indict_v and_o accuse_v this_o sin_n at_o god_n tribunal_n then_o cry_v out_o to_o god_n as_o for_o mercy_n to_o thou_o through_o christ_n so_o for_o grace_n already_o receive_v to_o keep_v you_o from_o and_o enable_v you_o to_o prevail_v against_o such_o strong_a corruption_n as_o these_o be_v they_o will_v be_v too_o strong_a for_o your_o purpose_n duty_n and_o grace_n if_o god_n do_v not_o strengthen_v you_o with_o strength_n in_o your_o soul_n by_o his_o spirit_n it_o be_v god_n must_v keep_v you_o you_o can_v keep_v yourselves_o psal_n 127.1_o except_o the_o lord_n keep_v the_o city_n the_o watchman_n watehe_v but_o in_o vain_a so_o it_o will_v be_v in_o relation_n to_o your_o soul_n and_o the_o keep_v they_o from_o sin_n ourselves_o from_o these_o our_o iniquity_n these_o be_v the_o master-sin_n the_o lordly-lust_n we_o shall_v do_v by_o these_o as_o the_o king_n of_o syria_n give_v order_n to_o his_o captain_n about_o the_o king_n of_o israel_n 1_o kin._n 22.31_o fight_v neither_o with_o small_a nor_o great_a save_o only_a with_o the_o king_n of_o israel_n they_o be_v to_o fight_v with_o other_o but_o of_o a_o false_a rot_a hypocritical_a heart_n to_o keep_v from_o some_o sin_n but_o not_o from_o its_o special_a sin_n but_o on_o the_o other_o hand_n it_o be_v a_o sign_n of_o sincerity_n when_o man_n keep_v themselves_o from_o these_o their_o most_o predominant_a sin_n as_o those_o that_o be_v the_o great_a enemy_n to_o god_n and_o their_o soul_n yea_o thus_o to_o keep_v from_o our_o special_a most_o prevail_a sin_n will_v be_v a_o evidence_n of_o the_o power_n of_o grace_n in_o the_o heart_n as_o it_o be_v a_o evidence_n of_o the_o power_n of_o a_o prince_n when_o he_o be_v get_v into_o the_o heart_n of_o his_o enemy_n country_n and_o take_v his_o fort_n and_o stronghold_n so_o it_o will_v be_v a_o sign_n of_o the_o strength_n of_o grace_n when_o you_o keep_v from_o and_o subdue_v your_o former_o belove_a or_o most_o prevail_a corruption_n for_o these_o be_v the_o stronghold_n that_o sin_n the_o world_n and_o satan_n have_v in_o your_o heart_n therefore_o it_o will_v be_v a_o evidence_n that_o the_o weapon_n of_o your_o warfare_n be_v mighty_a through_o god_n when_o they_o pull_v down_o those_o stronghold_n and_o bring_v down_o every_o high_a thing_n into_o captivity_n 2_o cor._n 10.4_o 5._o these_o your_o special_a sin_n be_v the_o strong_a man_n arm_v that_o keep_v the_o house_n but_o now_o when_o you_o keep_v yourselves_o from_o these_o sin_n it_o prove_v grace_n to_o be_v strong_a than_o sin_n when_o it_o overcome_v these_o strong_a corruption_n iv_o another_o reason_n why_o we_o shall_v keep_v ourselves_o from_o our_o special_a prevail_a not_o keep_v yourselves_o from_o they_o will_v hinder_v your_o growth_n and_o progress_n in_o grace_n and_o holiness_n these_o be_v like_a sucker_n in_o tree_n that_o draw_v the_o juice_n and_o sap_n from_o the_o root_n to_o themselves_o as_o fall_n in_o childhood_n hinder_v growth_n often_o time_n so_o that_o such_o prove_v but_o dwarf_n all_o their_o day_n so_o frequent_a fall_n into_o these_o your_o iniquity_n though_o comparative_o but_o lesser_a sin_n yet_o they_o may_v cause_v you_o to_o prove_v but_o dwarf_n in_o christianity_n yea_o these_o your_o special_a iniquity_n if_o you_o do_v
