be_v a_o light_n indeed_o like_o those_o deceitful_a one_o that_o lead_v man_n over_o precipice_n into_o dark_a ruin_n like_o such_o light_n that_o be_v so_o place_v between_o the_o rock_n as_o to_o guide_v the_o mariner_n into_o a_o shipwreck_n to_o make_v it_o necessary_a for_o he_o to_o be_v dash_v against_o the_o one_o or_o the_o other_o be_v most_o certain_a for_o so_o it_o be_v here_o there_o be_v scarce_o such_o another_o infelicity_n as_o that_o this_o man_n lie_v under_o who_o conscience_n tell_v he_o one_o thing_n when_o god_n law_n or_o that_o which_o be_v any_o way_n his_o duty_n do_v require_v the_o contrary_a for_o if_o he_o do_v according_a to_o the_o law_n of_o god_n he_o act_v against_o his_o conscience_n and_o so_o sin_n and_o if_o he_o act_v according_a to_o his_o conscience_n he_o sin_n against_o the_o law_n of_o god_n poor_a soul_n sin_n lie_v on_o the_o right_n and_o on_o the_o left_a hand_n which_o way_n soever_o he_o do_v turn_v it_o seize_v on_o he_o and_o all_o this_o i_o shall_v prove_v 1._o that_o if_o he_o act_v against_o his_o conscience_n he_o sin_n though_o the_o law_n of_o god_n make_v it_o no_o sin_n scripture_n and_o reason_n they_o deny_v he_o most_o teach_v his_o goodness_n to_o consute_n his_o be_v if_o they_o do_v look_v upon_o the_o wondrous_a restitution_n of_o god_n service_n as_o but_o a_o shift_a of_o the_o scene_n of_o worship_n only_o another_o and_o more_o gaudy_a draught_n and_o landscape_n of_o religion_n shoot_v on_o the_o stage_n and_o do_v according_o esteem_v it_o as_o a_o variety_n and_o entertainment_n for_o their_o sense_n only_o for_o nothing_o high_o be_v engage_v i_o doubt_v i_o in_o those_o office_n if_o they_o assist_v in_o they_o not_o out_o of_o principle_n but_o mere_a without_o it_o they_o be_v to_o cleanse_v themselves_o from_o the_o impurity_n of_o mere_a contingency_n yea_o they_o be_v bind_v to_o wash_v their_o dream_n and_o purify_v their_o very_a sleep_n and_o all_o this_o be_v expound_v by_o the_o prophet_n isaiah_n i_o 16_o 17._o wash_v you_o make_v you_o clean_o put_v away_o the_o evil_a of_o your_o do_n cease_v to_o do_v evil_a learn_v to_o do_v
