survive_v and_o not_o for_o the_o praise_n and_o commemoration_n of_o the_o dead_a beside_o i_o know_v and_o see_v by_o daily_a
and_o the_o arm_n of_o flesh_n their_o portion_n that_o they_o must_v rely_v upon_o here_o be_v a_o reed_n that_o will_v either_o break_v or_o pierce_v a_o man_n hand_n no_o wonder_n that_o this_o man_n fear_v in_o all_o occasion_n and_o extremity_n because_o he_o forsake_v the_o lord_n and_o cleave_v to_o the_o creature_n but_o that_o man_n that_o live_v by_o faith_n be_v without_o fear_n as_o peter_n when_o he_o begin_v to_o sink_v say_v christ_n why_o do_v thou_o fear_v o_o thou_o of_o little_a faith_n the_o reason_n he_o do_v sink_v be_v fear_v and_o why_o do_v he_o fear_v because_o his_o faith_n fail_v he_o he_o do_v not_o lay_v hold_n upon_o god_n and_o christ._n last_o let_v we_o remember_v to_o order_v ourselves_o aright_o in_o regard_n august_n of_o our_o love_n and_o this_o he_o love_v the_o thing_n of_o the_o world_n too_o much_o a_o man_n be_v afraid_a of_o death_n why_o because_o he_o love_v his_o body_n too_o much_o a_o man_n be_v afraid_a he_o shall_v lose_v his_o child_n or_o his_o friend_n what_o be_v the_o reason_n he_o love_v they_o too_o much_o too_o inordinate_o we_o shall_v labour_v to_o love_v they_o only_o in_o and_o for_o god_n and_o then_o we_o shall_v not_o be_v afraid_a of_o the_o loss_n of_o they_o but_o shall_v be_v content_a to_o be_v dispose_v in_o they_o and_o in_o ourselves_o as_o god_n shall_v see_v convenient_a in_o his_o heavenly_a wisdom_n a_o word_n for_o the_o occasion_n and_o that_o i_o will_v dispatch_v in_o a_o word_n you_o know_v the_o occasion_n of_o our_o meeting_n at_o this_o time_n and_o in_o this_o place_n it_o be_v to_o perform_v this_o last_o rite_n to_o the_o body_n of_o a_o child_n that_o god_n have_v take_v late_o to_o his_o mercy_n you_o see_v how_o almighty_a god_n be_v please_v to_o dispose_v when_o they_o be_v take_v away_o why_o because_o they_o be_v all_o alive_a still_o to_o god_n and_o this_o tender_a babe_n be_v not_o lose_v he_o be_v but_o send_v before_o he_o be_v alive_a still_o continual_a spectacle_n of_o mortality_n let_v we_o be_v acquaint_v with_o death_n a_o vizour_n and_o apparition_n to_o a_o child_n simile_n scar_n he_o and_o he_o run_v from_o it_o at_o the_o first_o but_o at_o last_o he_o grow_v thorough_o acquaint_v with_o it_o and_o fear_v it_o not_o so_o it_o be_v in_o regard_n of_o death_n many_o man_n will_v not_o endure_v to_o hear_v of_o death_n they_o will_v not_o endure_v to_o think_v of_o it_o they_o will_v not_o endure_v to_o hear_v a_o funeral_n sermon_n or_o to_o come_v to_o the_o house_n of_o mourning_n to_o be_v put_v in_o mind_n of_o first_o sin_n bring_v death_n into_o the_o world_n so_o to_o the_o faithful_a now_o death_n carry_v it_o out_o again_o three_o their_o entrance_n into_o heaven_n and_o to_o be_v at_o home_n with_o the_o lord_n from_o who_o we_o be_v absent_a as_o long_o as_o we_o be_v at_o home_n in_o 3._o these_o body_n four_o to_o prepare_v their_o body_n for_o renew_v at_o the_o last_o day_n simile_n that_o be_v do_v by_o death_n for_o as_o a_o decay_a image_n or_o statue_n must_v first_o be_v break_v that_o it_o may_v be_v new_o cast_v so_o these_o body_n of_o we_o must_v be_v break_v by_o death_n be_v the_o offence_n of_o a_o infinite_a majesty_n it_o deserve_v a_o infinite_a punishment_n for_o we_o know_v offence_n be_v reckon_v of_o for_o their_o greatness_n according_a as_o the_o greatness_n of_o the_o person_n be_v against_o who_o they_o be_v commit_v if_o he_o that_o clip_v the_o king_n coin_n or_o deface_v the_o king_n arm_n or_o counterfeit_v the_o broad_a seal_n of_o sin_n be_v infinite_a in_o durance_n and_o continuance_n and_o deserve_v a_o infinite_a wage_n and_o punishment_n which_o be_v eternal_a death_n three_o it_o be_v infinite_a also_o in_o respect_n of_o line_n of_o life_n never_o to_o give_v over_o sin_v but_o he_o will_v run_v on_o infinite_o commit_v sin_n even_o with_o greediness_n and_o it_o be_v reason_n that_o as_o god_n accept_v the_o will_n for_o the_o deed_n in_o godliness_n so_o he_o shall_v punish_v the_o will_n for_o the_o deed_n in_o wickedness_n if_o we_o sin_v according_a to_o our_o eternity_n in_o our_o will_n and_o purpose_n to_o sin_n god_n will_v punish_v we_o according_a to_o his_o eternity_n it_o be_v just_a that_o they_o that_o will_v never_o be_v without_o sin_n if_o they_o may_v have_v their_o own_o will_n shall_v corruption_n in_o they_o still_o for_o if_o there_o be_v not_o sin_n there_o will_v not_o be_v the_o wage_n of_o sin_n there_o will_v not_o be_v death_n if_o there_o be_v not_o sin_n second_o the_o use_n of_o it_o be_v to_o take_v away_o a_o fond_a popish_a distinction_n venial_a of_o mortal_a and_o venial_a sin_n they_o teach_v some_o sin_n to_o be_v venial_a that_o be_v such_o sin_n as_o in_o their_o own_o nature_n deserve_v not_o death_n whereas_o the_o apostle_n here_o speak_v of_o all_o sin_n in_o general_a he_o say_v the_o wage_n thereof_o be_v death_n
