even_o to_o god_n but_o know_v the_o lord_n will_v find_v thou_o out_o one_o day_n and_o he_o will_v charge_v thy_o sin_n upon_o thyself_o and_o thy_o destruction_n and_o thy_o wickedness_n it_o be_v from_o thyself_o a_o gracious_a heart_n will_v not_o plead_v for_o sin_n after_o such_o away_o as_o this_o be_v it_o be_v very_o dangerous_a when_o you_o hear_v of_o any_o that_o make_v profession_n of_o religion_n to_o plead_v for_o their_o looseness_n after_o such_o a_o manner_n as_o this_o be_v we_o have_v cause_n to_o fear_v that_o their_o spot_n be_v not_o the_o spot_n of_o god_n child_n four_o when_o sin_n have_v preveil_v in_o some_o measure_n against_o a_o child_n of_o god_n yet_o he_o be_v quick_o stop_v in_o sin_n he_o be_v easy_o convince_v of_o it_o plead_v not_o for_o it_o principle_n of_o grace_n suitable_a to_o any_o truth_n of_o god_n when_o any_o thing_n oppose_v his_o sin_n his_o heart_n oppose_v that_o that_o will_v oppose_v sin_n but_o a_o child_n of_o god_n though_o he_o be_v overcome_v with_o a_o sin_n yet_o when_o the_o truth_n of_o god_n come_v it_o meet_v with_o something_o within_o the_o heart_n that_o be_v suitable_a to_o the_o truth_n and_o it_o present_o close_v together_o you_o have_v a_o notable_a example_n for_o that_o in_o the_o prophet_n david_n 1_o sam._n 25._o 32._o for_o the_o understanding_n of_o it_o you_o may_v cast_v your_o eye_n upon_o some_o verse_n before_o you_o shall_v find_v that_o david_n be_v in_o a_o way_n of_o sin_n that_o his_o choler_n have_v get_v up_o and_o prevail_v against_o he_o and_o he_o be_v â—â—out_v a_o therefore_o their_o spot_n be_v a_o deadly_a spot_n but_o the_o saint_n they_o have_v a_o principle_n of_o life_n take_v the_o saint_n of_o god_n in_o their_o worst_a condition_n when_o they_o be_v most_o overcome_v by_o temptation_n and_o yet_o there_o be_v some_o symptom_n of_o life_n life_n will_v appear_v in_o they_o you_o will_v say_v what_o symptom_n of_o life_n will_v appear_v in_o a_o godly_a man_n or_o woman_n when_o they_o be_v overcome_v with_o sin_n and_o corruption_n yes_o you_o shall_v find_v four_o that_o will_v act_v in_o they_o when_o they_o be_v most_o overcome_v with_o their_o corruption_n the_o first_o be_v this_o if_o they_o sin_v if_o possible_o they_o can_v they_o labour_v to_o recall_v themselves_o you_o shall_v find_v that_o their_o judgement_n be_v yet_o for_o holiness_n and_o strictness_n in_o the_o way_n of_o god_n perhaps_o they_o be_v overcome_v by_o a_o particular_a temptation_n and_o they_o be_v trouble_v and_o afraid_a that_o there_o be_v no_o grace_n and_o that_o there_o be_v no_o difference_n between_o they_o and_o wicked_a man_n i_o but_o you_o shall_v find_v that_o even_o at_o that_o time_n when_o they_o be_v overcome_v with_o temptation_n yet_o their_o judgement_n remain_v for_o god_n and_o for_o his_o truth_n and_o for_o his_o way_n for_o the_o strictness_n of_o holiness_n and_o they_o account_v the_o law_n of_o god_n to_o be_v good_a and_o holy_a and_o righteous_a at_o that_o very_a time_n we_o read_v of_o saint_n paul_n in_o rom._n 7._o he_o â—ad_n as_o great_a a_o conflict_n with_o his_o corruption_n as_o you_o shall_v find_v almost_o in_o any_o so_o that_o he_o be_v even_o lead_v captive_a and_o that_o he_o be_v sell_v under_o sin_n but_o yet_o mark_v in_o v_o 12._o though_o he_o have_v such_o a_o the_o one_o and_o the_o other_o now_o the_o leprosy_n be_v butas_fw-la a_o type_n of_o the_o uncleanness_n of_o sin_n the_o whole_a chapter_n you_o shall_v find_v be_v spend_v in_o the_o discern_a of_o leprosy_n what_o be_v the_o spot_n of_o leprosy_n and_o what_o not_o now_o mark_v all_o a_o long_a you_o shall_v find_v that_o the_o priest_n look_v upon_o the_o spot_n and_o see_v it_o to_o be_v thus_o and_o thus_o say_v the_o text_n he_o shall_v pronounce_v he_o unclean_a but_o now_o in_o the_o 44._o v_o the_o priest_n shall_v pronounce_v he_o utter_o unclean_a his_o plague_n be_v in_o his_o difference_n between_o the_o sin_n of_o wicked_a man_n &_o the_o sin_n of_o the_o godly_a in_o that_o act_n of_o david_n say_v david_n there_o i_o have_v keep_v the_o way_n of_o the_o lord_n and_o have_v not_o wicked_o depart_v from_o my_o god_n but_o now_o david_n how_o do_v you_o prove_v that_o thou_o do_v sin_n against_o thy_o god_n very_o gross_o why_o then_o do_v thou_o say_v thou_o have_v be_v the_o most_o natural_a work_n of_o your_o heart_n it_o may_v be_v you_o think_v your_o heart_n be_v good_a why_o because_o you_o have_v many_o good_a mood_n in_o time_n of_o sickness_n o_o no_o at_o the_o same_o time_n must_v needs_o be_v incompetible_a together_o the_o way_n of_o the_o ungodly_a it_o be_v to_o be_v plot_v and_o contrive_v for_o sin_n oâ—_n do_v thy_o conscience_n tell_v thou_o that_o this_o be_v thy_o way_n to_o be_v in_o thy_o thought_n when_o thou_o be_v alone_o contrive_v plot_v advise_v meditate_v consider_v how_o to_o accomplish_v the_o satisfy_n of_o the_o lust_n of_o thy_o flesh_n thou_o be_v the_o man_n that_o know_v not_o what_o it_o be_v to_o put_v on_o christ_n and_o thy_o 〈◊〉_d be_v not_o the_o spot_n of_o god_n child_n the_o apostle_n speak_v term_n a_o wicked_a man_n will_v admit_v of_o his_o sin_n upon_o very_o easy_a term_n some_o sin_n at_o least_o if_o your_o servant_n shall_v leave_v the_o door_n by_o the_o latch_n you_o will_v opposition_n to_o sin_n a_o universal_a one_o a_o spiritual_a one_o and_o i_o may_v put_v a_o four_o a_o powerful_a universal_a spiritual_a irreconcilable_a opposition_n i_o will_v open_v these_o first_o a_o powerful_a opposition_n that_o be_v he_o do_v not_o only_o wish_v that_o he_o can_v not_o sin_n and_o wish_v that_o he_o may_v be_v otherwise_o but_o he_o make_v it_o to_o be_v the_o great_a work_n of_o his_o life_n above_o all_o thing_n in_o the_o world_n to_o set_v himself_o against_o his_o sin_n so_o as_o if_o god_n will_v speak_v from_o heaven_n and_o say_v unto_o he_o poor_a creature_n what_o will_v thou_o that_o i_o shall_v do_v for_o thou_o this_o soul_n will_v answer_v to_o god_n lord_n thou_o that_o know_v all_o thing_n know_v this_o be_v the_o unfeigned_a desire_n thereupon_o thy_o soul_n do_v more_o strong_o work_v in_o its_o opposition_n against_o thy_o sin_n then_o against_o any_o thing_n in_o the_o world_n beside_o many_o man_n and_o woman_n have_v strong_a spirit_n in_o follow_v their_o sin_n but_o their_o spirit_n be_v not_o strong_a in_o the_o oppose_a of_o their_o sin_n but_o he_o that_o be_v gracious_a make_v it_o to_o be_v his_o great_a and_o chief_a work_n and_o then_o the_o second_o thing_n it_o be_v a_o universal_a opposition_n and_o that_o in_o these_o two_o regard_n first_o all_z the_o faculty_n in_o the_o soul_n do_v rise_v up_o against_o sin_n there_o be_v some_o kind_n of_o opposition_n in_o a_o wicked_a man_n against_o sin_n that_o be_v his_o conscience_n sometime_o do_v oppose_v the_o lust_n that_o there_o be_v in_o his_o affection_n it_o may_v be_v a_o wicked_a man_n have_v a_o convince_v conscience_n and_o his_o conscience_n will_v not_o let_v he_o to_o be_v at_o quiet_a but_o in_o his_o affection_n there_o be_v a_o like_n of_o sin_n only_o his_o conscience_n will_v not_o let_v he_o be_v at_o quiet_a you_o will_v say_v how_o shall_v a_o man_n discern_v this_o you_o may_v discern_v it_o thus_o if_o the_o opposition_n be_v mere_o in_o your_o conscience_n and_o not_o in_o your_o heart_n and_o affection_n then_o though_o indeed_o you_o dare_v not_o for_o the_o present_a commit_v such_o a_o sin_n yet_o you_o can_v wish_v with_o all_o your_o heart_n that_o you_o may_v have_v liberty_n to_o do_v it_o you_o can_v wish_v that_o there_o be_v not_o such_o a_o law_n to_o forbid_v it_o you_o can_v be_v will_v do_v it_o now_o the_o opposition_n be_v not_o in_o your_o will_n it_o be_v only_o in_o your_o conscience_n this_o be_v a_o opposition_n to_o sin_n that_o a_o carnal_a heart_n may_v have_v that_o be_v he_o may_v have_v his_o conscience_n so_o fly_v in_o his_o face_n as_o that_o he_o shall_v not_o dare_v for_o the_o present_a to_o commit_v his_o sin_n no_o not_o in_o secret_a a_o man_n may_v come_v so_o far_o you_o will_v say_v indeed_o
many_o hypocrite_n may_v go_v thus_o far_o as_o not_o to_o commit_v sin_n before_o other_o but_o yet_o if_o it_o be_v in_o secret_a than_o they_o will_v do_v it_o no_o a_o natural_a conscience_n may_v be_v able_a to_o carry_v a_o man_n to_o this_o height_n that_o be_v not_o only_o to_o abstain_v from_o sin_n because_o of_o other_o but_o from_o the_o act_n of_o sin_n in_o secret_a that_o he_o dare_v not_o for_o his_o life_n though_o there_o be_v none_o but_o god_n and_o himself_o together_o give_v way_n to_o his_o sin_n and_o yet_o no_o saving-grace_n all_o this_o while_n you_o will_v say_v how_o can_v that_o be_v because_o though_o his_o conscience_n will_v not_o let_v he_o be_v quiet_a yet_o he_o will_v be_v glad_a to_o have_v his_o sin_n if_o he_o may_v here_o be_v no_o change_n of_o nature_n that_o be_v the_o evidence_n that_o there_o be_v no_o grace_n for_o if_o a_o man_n abstain_v from_o sin_n out_o of_o a_o principle_n of_o grace_n it_o be_v from_o the_o change_n of_o his_o nature_n and_o certain_o here_o be_v no_o change_n of_o nature_n in_o this_o so_o that_o it_o be_v not_o a_o universal_a opposition_n it_o be_v but_o only_o in_o one_o part_n of_o his_o soul_n but_o now_o the_o opposition_n of_o a_o gracious_a heart_n it_o be_v in_o the_o whole_a soul_n not_o only_o my_o conscience_n be_v against_o my_o sin_n but_o my_o will_n and_o my_o asfection_n i_o have_v a_o principle_n in_o my_o will_n and_o affection_n as_o well_o as_o in_o my_o conscience_n all_o the_o faculty_n of_o the_o soul_n do_v oppose_v the_o sin_n and_o then_o second_o it_o be_v universal_a that_o be_v there_o be_v the_o opposition_n of_o all_o sin_n not_o only_o of_o some_o particular_a sin_n but_o of_o every_o sin_n what_o ever_o the_o sin_n be_v yet_o the_o heart_n do_v oppose_v it_o so_o as_o it_o can_v appeal_v to_o god_n lord_n thou_o that_o know_v all_o thing_n know_v there_o be_v not_o one_o way_n of_o wickedness_n in_o i_o there_o be_v not_o one_o sin_n that_o my_o soul_n give_v way_n to_o but_o there_o be_v in_o my_o heart_n a_o opposition_n against_o every_o sin_n and_o then_o i_o say_v it_o be_v a_o spiritual_a opposition_n by_o that_o i_o mean_v this_o that_o it_o be_v a_o opposition_n not_o from_o argument_n only_o without_o that_o because_o of_o the_o danger_n or_o shame_n or_o prejudice_n that_o will_v come_v by_o it_o but_o the_o opposition_n be_v from_o a_o contrary_a stream_n of_o grace_n that_o there_o be_v in_o the_o heart_n there_o be_v such_o a_o temptation_n to_o sin_n but_o a_o carnal_a heart_n may_v think_v if_o i_o commit_v it_o than_o there_o may_v come_v this_o ill_a and_o the_o other_o evil_n of_o it_o and_o so_o i_o will_v not_o commit_v it_o but_o a_o gracious_a heart_n do_v not_o oppose_v only_o from_o such_o argument_n but_o from_o a_o contrary_a stream_n of_o grace_n that_o there_o be_v in_o the_o soul_n now_o when_o the_o opposition_n to_o sin_n come_v from_o a_o contrary_a stream_n of_o grace_n than_o the_o opposition_n be_v not_o only_o to_o keep_v sin_n from_o act_v but_o indeed_o it_o do_v decreass_n the_o habit_n of_o sin_n and_o this_o shall_v be_v the_o care_n of_o a_o godly_a man_n or_o woman_n not_o mere_o to_o keep_v in_o that_o be_v to_o restrain_v sin_n but_o let_v i_o oppose_v the_o habit_n of_o sin_n let_v i_o find_v the_o habit_n of_o my_o sin_n to_o be_v weaken_v and_o mortify_v in_o i_o let_v i_o follow_v my_o corruption_n to_o the_o very_a root_n of_o it_o and_o there_o labour_n to_o get_v the_o very_a root_n of_o my_o corruption_n to_o be_v deaden_v o_o here_o be_v the_o work_n of_o a_o child_n of_o god_n as_o now_o in_o the_o opposition_n of_o a_o stream_n of_o water_n water_z that_o run_v in_o such_o a_o stream_n there_o may_v be_v two_o way_n to_o oppose_v it_o either_o you_o may_v make_v a_o dam_n and_o so_o dam_v it_o up_o or_o otherwise_o if_o there_o can_v be_v get_v a_o contrary_a stream_n and_o so_o by_o that_o to_o overpower_v it_o this_o will_v be_v another_o manner_n of_o opposition_n then_o mere_o the_o damn_v of_o it_o up_o if_o you_o dam_v up_o a_o stream_n it_o rise_v up_o high_a and_o high_o and_o seek_v to_o get_v vent_n one_o way_n or_o other_o but_o if_o there_o be_v a_o contrary_a stream_n that_o will_v carry_v it_o smooth_o away_o so_o it_o be_v when_o the_o sin_n of_o wicked_a man_n be_v oppose_v not_o only_a when_o they_o be_v oppose_v by_o their_o friend_n that_o these_o will_v not_o let_v they_o commit_v such_o a_o sin_n but_o when_o their_o very_a conscience_n oppose_v their_o sin_n their_o sin_n swell_v up_o the_o more_o and_o they_o seek_v all_o evasion_n how_o they_o can_v get_v to_o have_v liberty_n to_o the_o commission_n of_o their_o sin_n and_o if_o once_o they_o have_v but_o break_v over_o the_o dam_n they_o run_v with_o more_o violence_n as_o many_o young_a people_n when_o they_o be_v under_o government_n their_o sin_n be_v but_o damn_v up_o and_o their_o sin_n be_v swell_a and_o their_o heart_n will_v fain_o have_v vent_n for_o their_o sin_n but_o they_o dare_v not_o but_o then_o afterward_o when_o they_o come_v to_o be_v for_o themselves_o their_o sin_n break_v out_o so_o much_o the_o more_o but_o a_o gracious_a heart_n have_v a_o new_a nature_n which_o god_n have_v put_v into_o the_o soul_n which_o be_v contrary_a to_o the_o nature_n of_o sin_n that_o be_v the_o spiritual_a way_n of_o opposition_n of_o sin_n and_o then_o it_o be_v a_o irrecocinlable_a opposition_n that_o be_v such_o a_o soul_n that_o have_v any_o truth_n of_o grace_n will_v never_o be_v reconcile_v with_o any_o one_o sin_n it_o resolve_v with_o itself_o what_o ever_o become_v of_o i_o yea_o though_o i_o shall_v perish_v eternal_o yet_o i_o be_o resolve_v to_o fight_v against_o my_o sin_n eternal_o yea_o at_o such_o a_o time_n as_o a_o soul_n be_v afraid_a that_o god_n will_v cast_v it_o away_o for_o ever_o yet_o at_o that_o time_n such_o a_o soul_n will_v be_v loath_a to_o sin_n against_o god_n you_o shall_v have_v some_o man_n that_o have_v horror_n of_o conscience_n and_o they_o be_v afraid_a that_o god_n will_v â—ast_v they_o off_o why_o then_o upon_o that_o than_o i_o â—ad_a as_o good_a leave_n of_o all_o say_v they_o and_o if_o i_o must_v be_v damn_v i_o have_v as_o good_a be_v damn_v for_o somewhat_o o_o this_o be_v a_o sign_n that_o grace_n have_v not_o get_v â—nto_o thy_o heart_n but_o there_o be_v may_v possible_o stand_v with_o grace_n suppose_v it_o shall_v be_v so_o that_o many_o a_o man_n that_o commit_v such_o a_o sin_n shall_v go_v to_o heaven_n but_o be_v it_o possible_a that_o a_o man_n the_o effect_n as_o sometime_o if_o there_o be_v a_o few_o small_a spot_n in_o a_o child_n coat_n you_o regard_v not_o they_o but_o if_o there_o be_v some_o great_a spot_n it_o cause_v you_o to_o wash_v the_o whole_a coat_n so_o it_o be_v with_o one_o that_o have_v any_o grace_n if_o the_o lord_n notwithstanding_o his_o watchfulness_n and_o care_n shall_v let_v he_o fall_v into_o some_o great_a spot_n he_o make_v this_o use_n to_o be_v cleanse_v and_o wash_v of_o his_o soul_n not_o only_o from_o that_o spot_n but_o from_o all_o other_o spot_n he_o know_v in_o himself_o but_o ungodly_a in_o regard_n of_o their_o sin_n as_o the_o behaviour_n of_o thy_o soul_n in_o respect_n of_o thy_o sin_n be_v different_a from_o the_o wicked_a so_o the_o behaviour_n of_o god_n towards_o thou_o will_v be_v very_o different_a from_o that_o of_o he_o towards_o the_o wicked_a and_o ungodly_a they_o may_v not_o think_v to_o escape_v so_o as_o thou_o may_v escape_v first_o as_o in_o the_o first_o place_n if_o a_o child_n of_o god_n sin_n yet_o he_o have_v a_o pardon_n lay_v up_o for_o his_o sin_n yea_o a_o pardon_n lay_v up_o before_o the_o sin_n be_v commit_v i_o do_v not_o say_v the_o pardon_n actual_o apply_v but_o lay_v up_o for_o to_o say_v the_o thing_n be_v actual_o pardon_v before_o commit_v it_o be_v scarce_a english_a much_o less_o divinity_n for_o whatever_o it_o be_v in_o god_n account_n or_o what_o god_n will_v do_v yet_o when_o we_o say_v the_o sinner_n be_v pardon_v it_o note_v some_o work_n of_o god_n upon_o the_o creation_n actual_a in_o be_v as_o when_o we_o say_v the_o world_n be_v create_v it_o be_v not_o create_v from_o eternity_n why_o it_o be_v a_o work_n of_o god_n upon_o the_o creation_n therefore_o it_o have_v a_o time_n and_o so_o what_o be_v a_o work_n of_o god_n in_o himself_o that_o be_v from_o eternity_n but_o what_o be_v a_o work_n of_o god_n upon_o the_o creature_n that_o be_v in_o time_n without_o any_o change_n in_o god_n nature_n any_o more-then_a the_o create_v of_o the_o world_n do_v change_v his_o nature_n there_o be_v for_o giuness_n with_o thou_o that_o thou_o may_v be_v fear_v they_o lie_v up_o with_o thou_o a_o pardon_v lay_v up_o but_o you_o will_v say_v how_o in_o case_n they_o do_v not_o sue_v out_o their_o pardon_n i_o confess_v if_o they_o sue_v it_o not_o out_o they_o have_v not_o the_o comfort_n of_o it_o but_o yet_o the_o scripture_n tell_v we_o they_o have_v a_o advocate_n with_o the_o father_n if_o they_o through_o ignorance_n do_v not_o know_v their_o sin_n how_o can_v they_o sue_v out_o their_o pardon_n yet_o they_o have_v a_o advocate_n with_o the_o father_n continual_o and_o it_o be_v the_o work_n of_o jesus_n christ_n at_o the_o right_a hand_n of_o the_o father_n to_o be_v a_o advocate_n to_o plead_v for_o believer_n with_o the_o father_n when_o ever_o they_o sin_n against_o the_o father_n there_o stand_v christ_n their_o advocate_n plead_v he_o watch_v if_o there_o come_v in_o any_o accusation_n against_o they_o if_o the_o law_n or_o the_o devil_n or_o conscience_n shall_v send_v up_o a_o accusation_n christ_n stand_v as_o a_o advocate_n to_o plead_v their_o cause_n you_o know_v i_o suppose_v what_o a_o advocate_n in_o law_n do_v mean_a he_o stand_v to_o plead_v the_o cause_n of_o his_o client_n &_o whatsoever_o come_v in_o against_o he_o he_o be_v make_v acquaint_v withal_o that_o he_o may_v stand_v to_o plead_v this_o be_v the_o case_n of_o the_o child_n of_o god_n notwithstanding_o their_o sin_n they_o have_v a_o advocate_n with_o the_o father_n in_o 1_o john_n 2._o 1._o my_o little_a child_n these_o thing_n write_v i_o unto_o you_o that_o you_o sin_v not_o you_o ought_v not_o to_o sin_n take_v heed_n of_o sin_v but_o if_o you_o do_v you_o there_o be_v some_o that_o be_v save_v and_o yet_o commit_v sin_n as_o well_o as_o i_o so_o say_v i_o there_o be_v some_o in_o hell_n and_o yet_o have_v do_v as_o much_o good_a perhaps_o as_o ever_o of_o god_n lord_n thou_o know_v that_o i_o have_v not_o wicked_o depart_v from_o thou_o for_o all_o thy_o judgement_n be_v before_o i_o and_o i_o do_v not_o â—ut_v away_o thy_o statute_n from_o i_o o_o lord_n thou_o knowe_v there_o be_v none_o of_o thy_o statute_n that_o i_o will_v put_v away_o from_o i_o three_o and_o then_o a_o three_o symptom_n of_o â—â—fe_n in_o the_o worst_a condition_n be_v this_o that_o though_o 〈◊〉_d man_n be_v fall_v into_o great_a sin_n himself_o yet_o â—or_a all_o this_o he_o will_v have_v his_o heart_n prise_v other_o godly_a man_n that_o be_v not_o fall_v into_o such_o great_a sin_n when_o do_v you_o ever_o know_v any_o one_o godly_a man_n fall_v to_o be_v such_o a_o apostate_n as_o to_o hate_v the_o saint_n and_o yet_o to_o turn_v again_o to_o god_n for_o thereby_o you_o may_v know_v whether_o he_o be_v godly_a or_o no_o if_o it_o be_v a_o temptation_n in_o one_o that_o be_v godly_a though_o he_o do_v apostatise_n very_o far_o yet_o he_o will_v return_v back_o again_o but_o for_o my_o part_n i_o never_o know_v it_o nor_o hear_v of_o any_o man_n that_o be_v a_o professor_n of_o religion_n and_o fall_v for_n far_o as_o to_o hate_v the_o saint_n to_o hate_v other_o godly_a man_n and_o to_o persecute_v they_o i_o never_o know_v any_o example_n that_o come_v again_o but_o now_o you_o shall_v have_v many_o godly_a man_n that_o fall_v foul_o i_o but_o yet_o their_o heart_n be_v towards_o the_o saint_n and_o they_o think_v that_o they_o be_v in_o a_o bless_a condition_n though_o i_o have_v a_o wicked_a and_o vile_a heart_n and_o i_o can_v prevail_v against_o such_o and_o such_o corruption_n yet_o there_o be_v those_o that_o be_v able_a to_o prevail_v against_o their_o corruption_n there_o be_v those_o that_o be_v godly_a o_o they_o be_v in_o a_o happy_a condition_n o_o happy_a be_v such_o a_o man_n such_o a_o woman_n they_o be_v not_o overcome_v with_o such_o corruption_n as_o i_o be_o overcome_v with_o so_o that_o though_o they_o be_v overcome_v with_o sin_n yet_o they_o will_v still_o have_v their_o heart_n towards_o the_o saint_n and_o prise_v those_o that_o be_v not_o overcome_v with_o such_o corruption_n as_o they_o be_v but_o now_o it_o be_v not_o so_o with_o the_o wicked_a four_o the_o last_o symptom_n of_o spiritual_a life_n that_o be_v in_o the_o saint_n be_v this_o though_o they_o be_v overcome_v with_o much_o corruption_n yet_o you_o shall_v find_v this_o ever_o in_o they_o they_o do_v not_o lose_v the_o savour_n and_o relish_v of_o the_o most_o spiritual_a ministry_n and_o the_o word_n as_o other_o do_v wicked_a man_n they_o be_v so_o defile_v with_o their_o corruption_n that_o that_o take_v away_o all_o their_o relish_n and_o taste_v of_o spiritual_a thing_n they_o can_v relish_v a_o spiritual_a ministry_n more_o than_o a_o filthy_a one_o but_o now_o take_v one_o that_o ever_o have_v any_o true_a godliness_n in_o he_o though_o he_o be_v very_o foul_o fall_v perhaps_o into_o some_o gross_a sin_n yet_o he_o be_v able_a to_o taste_v the_o word_n in_o some_o degree_n he_o can_v taste_v a_o difference_n between_o ministry_n and_o ministry_n yea_o between_o company_n and_o company_n between_o the_o spirit_n of_o one_o man_n and_o the_o spirit_n of_o another_o i_o say_v he_o do_v not_o whole_o lose_v his_o savour_n but_o still_o he_o have_v some_o kind_n of_o savour_n to_o taste_v a_o difference_n between_o that_o that_o be_v spiritual_a and_o carnal_a and_o especial_o in_o the_o ministry_n of_o the_o word_n he_o find_v some_o savour_n in_o that_o for_o if_o ever_o he_o be_v convert_v it_o be_v a_o spiritual_a work_n of_o the_o word_n that_o do_v convert_v he_o and_o there_o be_v some_o seed_n of_o it_o do_v remain_v in_o his_o heart_n hence_o be_v that_o of_o the_o holy_a ghost_n by_o the_o apostle_n saint_n peter_n 1_o epist_n c_o 1._o ver_fw-la last_o the_o word_n of_o the_o lord_n endure_v for_o ever_o and_o â—his_fw-la be_v the_o word_n which_o by_o the_o gospel_n be_v preach_v â—o_o you_o now_o this_o word_n of_o the_o lord_n he_o do_v not_o mean_a here_o the_o very_a book_n and_o letter_n of_o the_o word_n of_o god_n but_o he_o mean_v the_o word_n of_o god_n upon_o the_o heart_n of_o the_o godly_a for_o so_o you_o shall_v find_v he_o speak_v of_o it_o in_o the_o 23._o v_o be_v bear_v again_o not_o of_o corruptible_a seed_n but_o of_o incorruptible_a by_o the_o word_n of_o god_n which_o live_v and_o abide_v for_o ever_o for_o all_o flesh_n be_v as_o grass_n and_o all_o the_o glory_n that_o be_v all_o work_n of_o nature_n and_o common_a gift_n they_o vanish_v but_o the_o word_n of_o god_n endure_v forever_o that_o be_v the_o word_n of_o god_n upon_o the_o heart_n â—f_n the_o saint_n there_o be_v a_o spiritual_a seed_n and_o spiritualness_n of_o god_n word_n that_o do_v abide_v in_o their_o heart_n that_o do_v enable_v they_o to_o savour_n god_n word_n thus_o you_o see_v their_o spot_n be_v not_o deadly_a o_o that_o if_o any_o of_o you_o that_o have_v godliness_n and_o have_v fall_v foul_o from_o god_n that_o you_o will_v but_o consider_v of_o these_o thing_n be_v there_o such_o seed_n of_o life_n remain_v in_o you_o you_o be_v those_o that_o do_v yet_o belong_v to_o he_o therefore_o do_v not_o you_o fall_v off_o more_o and_o more_o if_o you_o be_v one_o that_o do_v belong_v to_o god_n you_o will_v not_o abuse_v distemper_n well_o but_o yet_o this_o be_v not_o so_o now_o as_o in_o the_o time_n of_o the_o plague_n when_o you_o see_v those_o blue_a token_n on_o you_o which_o they_o call_v god_n token_n though_o perhaps_o you_o have_v no_o other_o spot_n nor_o sore_n so_o many_o man_n and_o woman_n may_v seem_v to_o live_v very_o strict_o and_o not_o break_v out_o into_o such_o scandalous_a sin_n as_o other_o do_v and_o their_o spot_n seem_v not_o to_o be_v so_o full_a of_o corruption_n as_o other_o man_n be_v i_o but_o there_o â—â—e_v the_o blue_a spot_n of_o a_o plague_n upon_o they_o â—â—at_o be_v unto_o death_n and_o you_o know_v a_o father_n use_v mother_n will_v rather_o a_o great_a deal_n see_v the_o body_n of_o their_o child_n to_o be_v all_o blister_a and_o spot_v and_o run_v with_o filth_n then_o to_o see_v but_o one_o â—f_n those_o blue_a spot_n upon_o they_o though_o their_o â—kin_n shall_v be_v never_o so_o whole_a you_o will_v say_v now_o what_o sign_n may_v we_o give_v in_o the_o distemper_n of_o the_o body_n if_o be_v constant_a though_o it_o be_v small_a it_o may_v prove_v deadly_a as_o if_o a_o man_n have_v a_o cough_n yet_o if_o it_o continue_v constant_a it_o may_v prove_v deadly_a take_v heed_n of_o constant_a sin_n though_o they_o be_v small_a sin_n for_o if_o thou_o go_v on_o in_o a_o constant_a way_n of_o sin_n it_o may_v prove_v deadly_a and_o then_o second_o if_o the_o disease_n reach_n to_o the_o heart_n it_o prove_v deadly_a in_o time_n of_o infection_n if_o you_o can_v keep_v it_o from_o the_o heart_n you_o be_v well_o enough_o physician_n though_o they_o give_v medicine_n to_o keep_v the_o infection_n from_o the_o heart_n yet_o they_o have_v never_o a_o medicine_n to_o cure_v the_o heart_n if_o once_o the_o disease_n get_v into_o it_o
