necessary_a to_o salvation_n as_o command_v wash_v and_o it_o be_v most_o probable_a that_o it_o be_v also_o efficacious_a thereunto_o and_o be_v clean_a because_o it_o be_v command_v for_o he_o that_o have_v command_v it_o be_v able_a to_o make_v it_o so_o nay_o rather_o have_v make_v it_o so_o to_o show_v that_o he_o delight_v not_o in_o unnecessary_a or_o unprofitable_a command_n what_o need_v we_o then_o to_o say_v that_o baptism_n be_v necessary_a only_o as_o a_o profession_n of_o our_o faith_n or_o as_o a_o outward_a sign_n or_o testimony_n of_o god_n grace_n whereas_o we_o may_v with_o much_o confidence_n and_o without_o any_o inconveniency_n acknowledge_v it_o to_o be_v moreover_o a_o instrumental_a cause_n whereby_o our_o bless_a saviour_n be_v please_v to_o work_v grace_n and_o salvation_n for_o who_o can_v hinder_v the_o first_o cause_n to_o work_v by_o what_o instrument_n he_o please_v and_o sure_o we_o be_v the_o word_n of_o god_n do_v plain_o ascribe_v unto_o baptism_n the_o operation_n of_o a_o instrumental_a cause_n in_o work_v the_o effect_n of_o grace_n when_o saint_n paul_n call_v it_o the_o wash_n of_o regeneration_n tit._n 3._o 5._o which_o be_v
