saint_n sometime_o have_v attain_v but_o a_o small_a measure_n of_o the_o apprehension_n of_o god_n love_n in_o jesus_n christ_n be_v under_o a_o spirit_n of_o bondage_n and_o look_v upon_o god_n as_o he_o 15._o manifest_v himself_o upon_o sinai_n be_v so_o fill_v with_o fear_n and_o terror_n which_o cause_v abundance_n of_o sorrow_n even_o mourn_v and_o grieve_v exceed_o because_o they_o can_v grieve_v no_o more_o and_o that_o mere_o upon_o this_o ground_n that_o if_o their_o sorrow_n be_v in_o any_o good_a measure_n answerable_a to_o their_o sin_n then_o they_o hope_v that_o god_n will_v pardon_v they_o apprehend_v in_o themselves_o and_o be_v tell_v so_o by_o other_o that_o if_o they_o do_v not_o sound_o repent_v mourn_v and_o grieve_v for_o their_o sin_n hearty_o and_o serious_o confess_v they_o with_o a_o resolution_n to_o leave_v and_o forsake_v they_o that_o god_n will_v not_o nay_o can_v not_o pardon_v they_o and_o all_o this_o from_o misunderstanding_n of_o scripture_n as_o he_o that_o hide_v his_o sin_n shall_v 13_o not_o prosper_v but_o he_o that_o confess_v and_o forsake_v they_o shall_v find_v mercy_n and_o if_o we_o 9_o confess_v our_o sin_n he_o be_v believe_v his_o justification_n until_o god_n have_v reveal_v it_o to_o he_o by_o jesus_n so_o neither_o can_v any_o man_n repent_v true_o and_o indeed_o until_o he_o first_o understand_v and_o believe_v that_o god_n for_o christ_n sake_n have_v forgive_v he_o all_o his_o trespass_n and_o this_o 10_o repentance_n be_v call_v a_o repentance_n unto_o life_n or_o a_o repentance_n flow_v from_o all_o god_n be_v a_o holy_a and_o righteous_a god_n and_o will_v do_v neither_o can_v he_o do_v any_o thing_n but_o what_o be_v most_o pure_a and_o just_a and_o if_o any_o say_v that_o they_o have_v other_o also_o that_o have_v attain_v to_o a_o high_a degree_n of_o assurance_n and_o be_v able_a to_o conclude_v and_o that_o safe_o that_o their_o sin_n be_v forgive_v and_o that_o christ_n be_v their_o righteousness_n unto_o justification_n yet_o see_v their_o own_o weakness_n and_o know_v that_o they_o be_v sanctify_v but_o in_o part_n and_o have_v a_o law_n in_o their_o member_n rebel_a against_o the_o law_n of_o the_o mind_n 19_o they_o have_v need_n and_o do_v pray_v for_o a_o further_a discovery_n of_o god_n love_n to_o perfect_v their_o sanctification_n that_o they_o may_v thereby_o have_v a_o further_a evidence_n of_o their_o justification_n and_o therefore_o it_o be_v say_v forgive_v we_o our_o debt_n as_o we_o forgive_v our_o debtor_n that_o be_v lord_n work_n in_o we_o such_o a_o holy_a frame_n of_o spirit_n that_o see_v thou_o have_v free_o forgive_v we_o through_o christ_n all_o our_o sin_n we_o may_v also_o free_o for_o thy_o sake_n forgive_v our_o offend_a life_n in_o the_o tree_n for_o it_o be_v impossible_a that_o christ_n shall_v be_v in_o the_o soul_n and_o not_o act_v like_o himself_o according_a to_o that_o degree_n and_o measure_n in_o which_o he_o manifest_v himself_o therein_o now_o repentance_n be_v not_o only_o a_o sorrow_n 27._o for_o sin_n for_o that_o may_v be_v in_o wicked_a man_n neither_o be_v it_o a_o bare_a confession_n join_v with_o the_o former_a for_o both_o these_o may_v be_v do_v for_o self-end_n but_o when_o a_o man_n do_v indeed_o apprehend_v the_o love_n of_o god_n in_o jesus_n free_o justify_v and_o pardon_v all_o sin_n and_o transgression_n whatsoever_o without_o any_o desert_n or_o desire_v and_o not_o only_o so_o but_o also_o sanctify_v and_o save_v he_o from_o all_o sin_n for_o the_o future_a then_o his_o
