intercession_n and_o satisfaction_n of_o christ_n whereby_o we_o perceive_v that_o caluine_n make_v the_o formal_a cause_n of_o justification_n to_o be_v imputation_n of_o justice_n which_o otherwhere_o he_o call_v forgiveness_n of_o sin_n now_o the_o meaning_n of_o the_o word_n be_v declare_v i_o answer_v to_o bellarmine_n argument_n and_o say_v that_o it_o be_v not_o necessary_a that_o those_o very_a word_n christ_n justice_n be_v impute_v to_o we_o be_v read_v in_o the_o scripture_n but_o that_o it_o be_v enough_o if_o those_o thing_n be_v read_v from_o which_o this_o sentence_n impute_v which_o one_o have_v do_v or_o which_o be_v in_o he_o therefore_o when_o justice_n be_v say_v to_o be_v impute_v to_o sinful_a man_n it_o be_v a_o proper_a speech_n we_o also_o when_o it_o be_v say_v that_o sin_n be_v not_o impute_v to_o a_o sinner_n it_o be_v therefore_o improper_o say_v that_o to_o he_o that_o believe_v faith_n be_v impute_v for_o justice_n and_o therefore_o this_o be_v to_o be_v unfolden_a by_o a_o proper_a speech_n to_o wit_n that_o to_o he_o that_o believe_v justice_n be_v impute_v or_o he_o that_o believe_v be_v count_v for_o just_a by_o faith_n as_o elsewhere_o the_o apostle_n say_v the_o believer_n be_v justify_v by_o faith_n which_o that_o it_o may_v more_o full_o be_v understand_v it_o be_v needful_a that_o the_o nature_n of_o faith_n be_v declare_v by_o his_o object_n whereon_o it_o lean_v or_o which_o it_o apprehend_v for_o justice_n for_o that_o be_v the_o thing_n for_o which_o the_o believer_n be_v justify_v or_o justice_n be_v impute_v to_o he_o or_o final_o which_o be_v impute_v to_o he_o for_o justice_n by_o faith_n and_o that_o object_n of_o faith_n be_v christ_n satisfaction_n as_o appear_v by_o the_o apostle_n word_n rom._n 3.25_o who_o god_n have_v set_v forth_o a_o reconciliation_n by_o faith_n in_o his_o blood_n therefore_o to_o speak_v proper_o justice_n be_v impute_v to_o we_o for_o christ_n satisfaction_n by_o faith_n because_o we_o apprehend_v that_o by_o faith_n or_o christ_n satisfaction_n be_v impute_v to_o we_o for_o justice_n by_o faith_n that_o be_v in_o as_o much_o as_o it_o be_v apprehend_v by_o faith_n second_o proof_n 2._o proof_n he_o will_v prove_v the_o same_o thing_n by_o this_o that_o no_o necessity_n can_v be_v allege_v of_o that_o sort_n of_o imputation_n but_o say_v i_o there_o be_v manifest_a necessity_n namely_o our_o sin_n which_o can_v be_v undo_v but_o lest_o we_o be_v damn_v for_o they_o it_o be_v necessary_a that_o they_o be_v not_o impute_v to_o we_o but_o cover_v which_o be_v no_o other_o thing_n then_o to_o have_v justice_n impute_v to_o we_o as_o appear_v by_o the_o apostle_n word_n rom._n 4.6.7_o david_n say_v that_o bless_a be_v that_o man_n to_o who_o god_n impute_v justice_n bless_a be_v they_o who_o iniquity_n be_v forgive_v and_o who_o sin_n be_v cover_v bless_a be_v the_o man_n to_o who_o the_o lord_n shall_v not_o impute_v sin_n but_o bellarmine_n labour_v to_o confirm_v his_o argument_n thus_o if_o this_o imputation_n be_v necessary_a it_o shall_v therefore_o chief_o be_v necessary_a for_o that_o man_n after_o forgiveness_n of_o
