for_o the_o remission_n of_o sin_n upon_o repentance_n must_v in_o reason_n be_v in_o a_o full_a capacity_n to_o give_v such_o a_o remission_n and_o this_o not_o ministerial_o or_o declarative_o without_o contract_v the_o sin_n of_o blasphemy_n beside_o it_o be_v altogether_o irrational_a to_o conceive_v that_o he_o that_o charge_v the_o jew_n not_o to_o plough_v with_o a_o ox_n and_o a_o ass_n together_o nor_o to_o wear_v a_o garment_n make_v of_o linen_n and_o woollen_a shall_v couple_v the_o name_n of_o a_o infinite_a and_o incomprehensible_a god_n and_o the_o name_n of_o a_o mear_v finite_a creature_n together_o to_o make_v one_o and_o the_o same_o name_n in_o or_o into_o which_o the_o creature_n be_v to_o be_v baptize_v for_o it_o be_v not_o here_o say_v name_n but_o name_v that_o the_o spirit_n of_o god_n be_v a_o most_o gracious_a and_o free-working_a spirit_n exert_v and_o put_v forth_o himself_o rise_v up_o in_o his_o might_n and_o heavenly_a vigour_n where_o when_o not_o because_o of_o any_o peculiar_a strain_n of_o wickedness_n in_o they_o but_o mere_o and_o only_o as_o i_o even_o now_o say_v from_o his_o own_o will_n and_o pleasure_n 2._o on_o the_o other_o hand_n they_o conceive_v that_o god_n vouchsafe_v such_o a_o presence_n unto_o some_o other_o so_o powerful_a and_o effectual_a that_o they_o be_v not_o able_a to_o resist_v the_o motion_n influence_n and_o working_n of_o it_o but_o be_v necessitate_v thereby_o to_o repent_v believe_v and_o work_v righteousness_n 3._o and_o last_o other_o notion_n of_o this_o grace_n and_o work_n of_o the_o spirit_n be_v such_o as_o if_o no_o course_n or_o strain_n of_o sin_n and_o wickedness_n whatsoever_o in_o man_n though_o still_o persist_v in_o no_o impenitency_n no_o neglect_n or_o contempt_n whether_o precedent_n or_o present_v of_o the_o gospel_n and_o of_o the_o great_a salvation_n offer_v therein_o be_v or_o be_v any_o way_n considerable_a as_o to_o the_o obstruct_v or_o hinder_v the_o spirit_n of_o god_n from_o vouchsafe_v even_o the_o rich_a high_a and_o full_a measure_n of_o himself_o and_o his_o gracious_a presence_n unto_o they_o now_o that_o neither_o the_o grace_n of_o god_n nor_o the_o freedom_n of_o the_o spirit_n in_o work_v be_v to_o be_v estimate_v measure_v or_o compute_v by_o any_o such_o notion_n or_o principle_n as_o these_o have_v be_v already_o sufficient_o
