and_o thy_o comfort_n the_o more_o but_o behold_v here_o the_o insatiable_a malice_n of_o thy_o enemy_n and_o therein_o consider_v yet_o further_o the_o greatness_n of_o the_o danger_n it_o be_v not_o the_o life_n of_o a_o private_a person_n will_v quench_v their_o unmeasurable_a malice_n for_o then_o yet_o the_o body_n may_v have_v continue_v though_o a_o inferior_a member_n have_v be_v cut_v off_o nay_o yet_o enlarge_v thy_o understanding_n and_o conceive_v yet_o further_o it_o be_v not_o one_o principal_a member_n that_o will_v 44._o satiate_v their_o ambitious_a thirst_n no_o not_o the_o head_n itself_o and_o root_n of_o the_o kingdom_n for_o the_o weak_a wisdom_n can_v resolve_v they_o so_o far_o that_o if_o the_o root_n be_v cut_v off_o yet_o the_o branch_n may_v flourish_v and_o so_o their_o malice_n discover_v and_o yet_o not_o further_o their_o ambition_n what_o then_o be_v the_o plot_n and_o how_o grievous_a be_v the_o danger_n sure_o even_o to_o cut_v off_o head_n and_o tail_n root_n and_o branch_n utter_o with_o one_o blow_n even_o to_o ruinate_v head_n and_o member_n 15._o church_n and_o common_a wealth_n and_o in_o one_o moment_n to_o have_v bring_v full_a confusion_n upon_o all_o estate_n behold_v here_o a_o further_a measure_n of_o the_o danger_n wherein_o thou_o be_v and_o bless_v be_v god_n that_o we_o have_v leisure_n to_o meditate_v these_o thing_n yea_o evermore_o bless_v be_v our_o gracious_a father_n who_o howsoever_o the_o whole_a head_n and_o body_n may_v be_v sick_a yet_o because_o he_o be_v our_o physician_n to_o heal_v we_o and_o do_v not_o delight_n in_o our_o destruction_n but_o know_v what_o be_v to_o be_v hope_v for_o of_o his_o patient_n think_v this_o physic_n too_o desperate_a and_o too_o preposterous_a as_o intend_v to_o destroy_v and_o not_o to_o sin_n and_o therefore_o in_o his_o mercy_n have_v keep_v it_o from_o we_o and_o in_o his_o justice_n make_v our_o enemy_n to_o drink_v of_o the_o cup_n they_o have_v prepare_v for_o us._n well_o by_o this_o thou_o may_v apprehend_v in_o some_o measure_n the_o greatness_n of_o the_o danger_n wherein_o thou_o be_v &_o yet_o behold_v i_o will_v show_v thou_o great_a peril_n than_o these_o intend_v against_o thou_o there_o be_v hope_n 19_o say_v holy_a job_n of_o a_o tree_n if_o it_o be_v cut_v down_o there_o will_v yet_o sprout_v and_o the_o branch_n thereof_o will_v not_o perish_v though_o the_o root_n thereof_o wax_v old_a in_o the_o earth_n and_o the_o stockethereof_o be_v dead_a in_o the_o ground_n yet_o by_o the_o descent_n of_o water_n it_o will_v bud_v &_o bring_v forth_o bough_n like_o a_o plant_n but_o as_o for_o man_n he_o be_v sick_a and_o die_v &_o man_n perish_v and_o where_o be_v he_o signify_v thereby_o that_o there_o be_v no_o hope_n
enough_o that_o the_o thing_n of_o this_o life_n restore_v unto_o they_o well_o let_v we_o be_v wise_a in_o the_o examine_n of_o our_o own_o heart_n hereby_o certain_o whatsoever_o we_o joy_v in_o above_o the_o lord_n it_o shall_v be_v the_o mean_n to_o bring_v a_o curse_n upon_o that_o blessing_n and_o so_o be_v the_o occasion_n that_o in_o the_o end_n it_o shall_v be_v take_v away_o from_o we_o that_o we_o which_o will_v not_o rejoice_v aright_o in_o god_n shall_v now_o have_v nothing_o wherein_o true_o to_o rejoice_v but_o if_o so_o be_v that_o we_o have_v so_o rejoice_v in_o the_o joy_n unto_o the_o giver_n of_o they_o we_o shall_v by_o this_o mean_n 38._o be_v find_v faithful_a in_o a_o little_a be_v make_v steward_n of_o great_a blessing_n that_o so_o return_v all_o unto_o our_o god_n in_o that_o small_a measure_n which_o we_o enjoy_v in_o this_o life_n he_o may_v be_v all_o in_o all_o unto_o we_o in_o a_o heap_v up_o measure_n in_o the_o life_n to_o come_v and_o thus_o order_v our_o joy_n shall_v we_o find_v it_o to_o be_v in_o the_o lord_n and_o so_o shall_v we_o also_o find_v it_o by_o the_o right_a measure_n thereof_o proportion_v both_o according_a to_o the_o thing_n we_o do_v enjoy_v as_o they_o do_v exceed_v each_o other_o in_o worth_n and_o excellency_n and_o also_o to_o the_o right_a use_n and_o employment_n thereof_o so_o do_v our_o saviour_n give_v his_o disciple_n the_o rule_n when_o he_o have_v give_v they_o that_o excellent_a gift_n of_o subdue_a all_o adverse_a power_n but_o rejoice_v not_o in_o this_o that_o the_o spirit_n be_v subdue_v of_o true_a conversion_n unto_o god_n that_o so_o they_o may_v enjoy_v both_o temporal_a and_o spiritual_a happienesse_n and_o then_o when_o the_o lord_n be_v first_o make_v glad_a with_o the_o conversion_n of_o his_o servant_n and_o when_o the_o angel_n have_v cause_n of_o joy_n for_o the_o repentance_n of_o sinner_n than_o come_v joy_n in_o a_o right_a order_n from_o heaven_n unto_o earth_n and_o the_o vessel_n be_v thus_o fit_v to_o receive_v this_o heavenly_a influence_n the_o holy_a ghost_n record_v that_o the_o people_n rejoice_v and_o shout_v even_o up_o to_o heaven_n as_o make_v a_o sweet_a consent_n therein_o with_o god_n and_o the_o angel_n oh_o never_o let_v we_o look_v 19_o to_o rejoice_v aright_o in_o earth_n if_o by_o our_o unfeigned_a sorrow_n for_o sin_n we_o of_o our_o life_n sure_o we_o provoke_v the_o lord_n to_o hate_v our_o feast_n day_n he_o have_v protest_v 21._o he_o will_v not_o smell_v in_o our_o solemn_a assembly_n but_o do_v they_o provoke_v
