the_o scripture_n do_v so_o stand_v upon_o as_o to_o lay_v down_o a_o negative_a chapter_n about_o the_o same_o and_o that_o if_o he_o do_v i_o break_v not_o the_o fist_n commandment_n to_o forbear_v do_v the_o thing_n until_o i_o see_v how_o i_o may_v avoid_v the_o scandal_n if_o i_o do_v it_o the_o reason_n be_v 1._o because_o of_o the_o superior_a command_n the_o scripture_n say_v do_v it_o not_o lay_v not_o a_o stumble_a block_n in_o the_o way_n for_o thy_o brother_n to_o fall_v and_o god_n be_v to_o be_v obey_v before_o man._n 2._o because_o the_o apostle_n tell_v we_o express_o that_o to_o sin_n against_o our_o weak_a brother_n so_o as_o to_o wound_v his_o conscience_n be_v to_o sin_n against_o christ_n 1_o cor._n 8.12_o and_o no_o law_n can_v command_v i_o to_o sin_n against_o accept_v thankful_o and_o that_o not_o only_o because_o i_o be_o a_o man_n that_o when_o i_o maintain_v my_o subject_n be_o yet_o ready_a to_o acknowledge_v my_o fairing_n and_o crave_v god_n mercy_n but_o also_o because_o i_o take_v this_o item_n to_o be_v that_o which_o do_v afford_v we_o the_o only_a true_a and_o substantial_a solution_n unto_o this_o so_o deep_o touchy_a and_o sore_a as_o sharp_a as_o it_o can_v do_v not_o destroy_v the_o action_n and_o void_a the_o duty_n but_o infer_v circumspection_n my_o meaning_n be_v that_o it_o follow_v not_o that_o therefore_o the_o thing_n may_v not_o be_v do_v at_o all_o but_o that_o there_o be_v care_n and_o prudence_n to_o be_v use_v that_o the_o scandal_n be_v avoid_v in_o the_o do_n and_o the_o act_n forbear_v and_o that_o only_o in_o the_o mean_a season_n in_o the_o instance_n of_o the_o apostle_n about_o meat_n although_o he_o will_v have_v a_o man_n careful_o abstain_v when_o he_o know_v or_o be_v tell_v that_o some_o be_v by_o who_o be_v like_a to_o be_v stumble_v at_o it_o yet_o when_o he_o know_v it_o not_o or_o be_v not_o tell_v so_o he_o bid_v he_o eat_v with_o a_o free_a spirit_n and_o without_o make_v
