break_v my_o covenant_n of_o the_o day_n and_o night_n and_o that_o there_o shall_v not_o be_v day_n and_o night_n in_o their_o season_n then_o may_v also_o my_o covenant_n with_o david_n be_v break_v so_o that_o here_o be_v great_a contrariety_n separation_n opposition_n and_o cause_n of_o enmity_n between_o the_o two_o party_n and_o between_o they_o there_o be_v no_o possibility_n of_o peace_n and_o reconciliation_n without_o a_o fit_a and_o all_o sufficient_a mediator_n necessary_o come_v between_o the_o thing_n which_o god_n promise_v in_o this_o covenant_n and_o for_o
to_o show_v how_o it_o be_v impossible_a to_o find_v perfect_a righteousness_n and_o to_o be_v justify_v and_o save_v but_o only_o in_o christ_n there_o the_o promise_n be_v set_v forth_o and_o seal_v dark_o in_o type_n and_o figure_n but_o now_o these_o figure_n and_o ceremony_n be_v cease_v and_o christ_n the_o substance_n of_o they_o be_v set_v forth_o naked_a in_o his_o own_o colour_n before_o our_o eye_n three_o the_o covenant_n give_v by_o moses_n may_v be_v say_v to_o vanish_v and_o be_v abolish_v in_o respect_n of_o the_o light_n and_o glory_n of_o it_o for_o the_o light_n and_o glory_n of_o it_o which_o it_o then_o have_v be_v swallow_v up_o of_o the_o great_a light_n of_o the_o gospel_n the_o glory_n of_o it_o be_v but_o like_o a_o dim_a light_n or_o candle_n but_o the_o glory_n of_o the_o gospel_n be_v like_o the_o light_n of_o the_o sun_n at_o noon_n day_n so_o that_o before_o it_o the_o light_n of_o the_o law_n be_v put_v out_o and_o appear_v no_o more_o than_o the_o light_n of_o a_o candle_n in_o the_o bright_a sunshine_n now_o the_o apostle_n tell_v we_o that_o when_o that_o which_o be_v perfect_a be_v 13._o come_v then_o that_o which_o be_v in_o part_n be_v especial_o from_o the_o word_n of_o the_o apostle_n discover_v plain_o the_o agreement_n and_o difference_n between_o the_o mix_a covenant_n which_o god_n make_v with_o israel_n by_o moses_n and_o the_o pure_a and_o simple_a covenant_n of_o grace_n make_v with_o all_o nation_n in_o the_o gospel_n and_o publish_v by_o christ_n and_o his_o holy_a apostle_n and_o evangelist_n chap._n xvii_o the_o consideration_n whereof_o discover_v use_v to_o we_o the_o singular_a providence_n of_o god_n in_o order_v the_o world_n and_o his_o wonderful_a wisdom_n goodness_n and_o mercy_n in_o prepare_v and_o hereby_o be_v stir_v up_o to_o take_v notice_n of_o god_n special_a providence_n how_o he_o respect_v the_o son_n of_o sinful_a man_n and_o be_v mindful_a of_o they_o to_o visit_v they_o and_o take_v care_n for_o they_o in_o all_o age_n let_v we_o admire_v his_o wisdom_n extol_v his_o goodness_n and_o mercy_n and_o labour_n to_o bring_v forth_o abundance_n of_o fruit_n according_a to_o the_o like_o thick_a cloud_n towards_o heaven_n and_o do_v hate_n and_o persecute_v the_o truth_n which_o shine_v unto_o they_o and_o love_v the_o darkness_n of_o error_n more_o than_o the_o light_n of_o
