own_v as_o the_o ground_n of_o faith_n for_o the_o remission_n of_o sin_n though_o the_o scripture_n be_v not_o acknowledge_v to_o be_v the_o word_n three_o and_o for_o his_o say_n it_o make_v void_a the_o exercise_n of_o faith_n in_o the_o precious_a promise_n of_o god_n for_o what_o have_v faith_n to_o exercise_v itself_o but_o only_o the_o promise_n of_o god_n in_o scripture_n etc._n etc._n answ_n i_o answer_v the_o true_a faith_n which_o christ_n be_v the_o author_n of_o have_v the_o power_n of_o god_n in_o which_o it_o stand_v to_o exercise_v itself_o in_o as_o the_o object_n thereof_o through_o which_o power_n of_o god_n which_o be_v the_o gospel_n life_n and_o immortality_n be_v bring_v to_o light_n 2_o tim._n 1.10_o as_o fruit_n of_o that_o faith_n which_o stand_v in_o christ_n the_o power_n so_o that_o virtue_n and_o knowledge_n be_v thereby_o add_v to_o the_o faith_n by_o which_o the_o true_a believer_n be_v build_v up_o in_o his_o holy_a faith_n so_o that_o deny_v the_o scripture_n to_o be_v the_o word_n do_v not_o make_v void_a the_o exercise_n of_o faith_n nor_o take_v away_o the_o ground_n in_o which_o true_a faith_n stand_v as_o j._n n._n vain_o imagine_v because_o the_o scripture_n be_v not_o the_o power_n of_o god_n in_o which_o the_o true_a faith_n stand_v neither_o do_v it_o follow_v as_o j._n n._n assert_v that_o faith_n must_v be_v exercise_v in_o scripture_n or_o else_o upon_o fancy_n and_o imagination_n because_o it_o may_v be_v exercise_v in_o the_o power_n of_o god_n as_o in_o the_o true_a ground_n thereof_o which_o be_v neither_o scripture_n nor_o imagination_n nor_o fancy_n for_o the_o apostle_n say_v that_o his_o speech_n and_o preach_v be_v not_o with_o entice_a word_n of_o man_n wisdom_n but_o in_o demonstration_n of_o the_o spirit_n and_o of_o power_n that_o their_o faith_n may_v not_o stand_v in_o the_o wisdom_n of_o man_n but_o in_o the_o power_n of_o god_n 1_o cor._n 2.4_o 5._o and_o in_o this_o be_v the_o
