unto_o it_o they_o will_v not_o humble_v themselves_o to_o seek_v mercy_n yea_o they_o slight_a and_o despise_v mercy_n therefore_o they_o shall_v not_o find_v mercy_n the_o prophet_n jeremy_n though_o the_o wave_n thereof_o toss_v they_o can_v prevail_v though_o they_o roar_v they_o can_v pass_v over_o but_o this_o people_n have_v revolt_v and_o be_v go_v as_o if_o he_o have_v say_v i_o the_o lord_n have_v put_v a_o bind_v to_o the_o sea_n i_o have_v also_o set_v a_o bind_v to_o the_o wickedness_n of_o man_n heart_n what_o be_v that_o my_o word_n my_o law_n the_o law_n of_o god_n be_v a_o moral_a bind_v to_o stop_v and_o keep_v in_o compass_n the_o rage_a wave_n of_o man_n corruption_n god_n do_v not_o always_o put_v a_o external_a bind_v by_o sword_n and_o judgement_n to_o stop_v man_n whether_o they_o will_v or_o no_o from_o sin_n but_o he_o always_o put_v a_o moral_a bind_v to_o stop_v they_o this_o be_v suppose_v in_o the_o text_n i_o put_v a_o bind_v to_o the_o sea_n to_o the_o sea_n also_o of_o man_n heart_n to_o the_o wickedness_n that_o be_v there_o but_o this_o people_n be_v revolt_v and_o go_v they_o have_v break_v all_o my_o bound_n even_o that_o perpetual_a decree_n of_o my_o righteous_a law_n now_o as_o when_o the_o sea_n break_v its_o bound_n the_o water_n flow_v infinite_o there_o be_v no_o stop_v they_o so_o when_o the_o heart_n of_o man_n break_v bound_n revolt_n and_o be_v go_v he_o sin_n infinite_o he_o make_v no_o end_n of_o sin_v by_o these_o scripture_n we_o may_v understand_v in_o what_o sense_n the_o iniquity_n of_o wicked_a man_n may_v be_v say_v to_o be_v infinite_a though_o nothing_o be_v infinite_a in_o a_o strict_a and_o proper_a sense_n but_o god_n himself_o be_v not_o thy_o wickedness_n great_a and_o thy_o iniquity_n infinite_a but_o have_v job_n give_v eliphaz_n any_o just_a occasion_n of_o this_o surmise_n that_o his_o sin_n be_v in_o this_o sense_n infinite_a do_v he_o ever_o observe_v either_o wickedness_n in_o general_a or_o those_o particular_a wickedness_n which_o he_o present_o enumerate_v take_v a_o pledge_n deny_v relief_n of_o the_o poor_a strip_v the_o naked_a &_o c_o have_v he_o see_v any_o of_o these_o evil_n act_v by_o job_n certain_o he_o have_v not_o job_n be_v a_o man_n of_o another_o frame_n of_o life_n then_o these_o thing_n import_v these_o black_a line_n and_o colour_n will_v never_o make_v the_o picture_n of_o job_n heart_n or_o life_n this_o be_v as_o ill_a a_o draught_n of_o a_o man_n as_o can_v be_v make_v yet_o eliphaz_n put_v all_o this_o upon_o job_n at_o least_o by_o supposition_n be_v it_o not_o thus_o but_o what_o reason_n have_v he_o for_o this_o supposition_n none_o but_o this_o the_o greatness_n of_o his_o affliction_n the_o infinite_a trouble_n that_o be_v upon_o he_o god_n set_v no_o bound_n to_o job_n sorrow_n therefore_o he_o think_v job_n have_v sin_v beyond_o all_o bound_n hence_o observe_v we_o be_v ready_a to_o judge_v their_o sin_n great_a who_o be_v the_o great_a sufferer_n though_o we_o know_v nothing_o by_o they_o though_o we_o can_v charge_v nothing_o upon_o they_o yet_o this_o thought_n rise_v natural_o in_o we_o when_o we_o see_v any_o under_o great_a and_o extraordinary_a suffering_n sure_o they_o be_v great_a and_o extraordinary_a sinner_n the_o worst_a of_o sinner_n never_o suffer_v more_o in_o this_o world_n than_o the_o best_a of_o saint_n witness_v those_o jewish_a worthy_n who_o torment_n be_v report_v by_o the_o author_n to_o the_o hebrew_n chap._n 11.37_o and_o as_o these_o be_v adjudge_v to_o suffer_v because_o they_o be_v think_v the_o worst_a of_o sinner_n so_o doubtless_o many_o who_o see_v they_o suffer_v think_v they_o such_o though_o they_o know_v nothing_o do_v by_o they_o to_o make_v they_o such_o read_v also_o this_o spirit_n luk._n 13.2_o act._n 28.4_o this_o have_v be_v former_o observe_v from_o other_o passage_n in_o this_o book_n and_o therefore_o i_o only_o touch_v it_o and_o pass_v away_o again_o eliphaz_n seem_v to_o take_v job_n off_o from_o the_o wrong_a ground_n of_o his_o suffering_n and_o tell_v he_o though_o he_o look_v to_o other_o reason_n yet_o the_o true_a reason_n be_v the_o greatness_n of_o his_o wickedness_n and_o the_o numberlesnes_n of_o his_o iniquity_n hence_o observe_v that_o few_o think_v of_o or_o hit_v upon_o any_o other_o cause_n of_o suffer_v but_o sin_n sin_n be_v so_o much_o and_o so_o often_o the_o cause_n of_o suffering_n that_o we_o do_v it_o no_o wrong_n to_o suspect_v it_o as_o the_o cause_n of_o all_o suffering_n and_o it_o be_v indeed_o one_o kind_n of_o cause_n causa_fw-la sine_fw-la qua_fw-la non_fw-la of_o all_o our_o suffering_n so_o that_o we_o can_v hardly_o wrong_v sin_n by_o this_o suspicion_n but_o we_o may_v easy_o wrong_v both_o god_n and_o man_n by_o it_o when_o the_o blind_a man_n come_v before_o christ_n his_o disciple_n ask_v he_o say_v master_n who_o do_v sin_n this_o man_n or_o his_o parent_n that_o he_o be_v bear_v blind_a they_o can_v hit_v upon_o nothing_o but_o sin_n why_o the_o man_n be_v bear_v blind_a joh._n 9.2_o but_o at_o the_o three_o verse_n christ_n answer_v neither_o have_v work_n of_o god_n may_v be_v make_v manifest_a in_o he_o that_o the_o work_n of_o god_n in_o his_o power_n and_o mercy_n may_v be_v see_v in_o restore_v this_o man_n to_o his_o fight_n therefore_o four_o forasmuch_o as_o eliphaz_n see_v job_n under_o great_a suffering_n say_v to_o he_o be_v not_o thy_o wickedness_n great_a the_o counsel_n in_o itself_o be_v seasonable_a hence_o observe_v that_o in_o time_n of_o suffering_n it_o be_v good_a both_o to_o put_v ourselves_o and_o other_o upon_o inquiry_n about_o our_o sin_n so_o the_o prophet_n lam._n 3.39_o 40._o why_o do_v a_o live_a man_n
