the_o new_a covenant_n yet_o still_o connote_v he_o a_o mediator_n i_o need_v not_o suggest_v that_o if_o in_o this_o new_a covenant_n christ_n suretyship_n will_v not_o infer_v our_o be_v one_o foederate_v party_n with_o christ_n and_o hence_o that_o we_o covenant_v in_o he_o it_o will_v far_o less_o follow_v we_o do_v so_o in_o the_o covenant_n of_o redemption_n which_o treat_v of_o thing_n so_o improper_a to_o be_v once_o propose_v to_o we_o as_o undertake_v party_n much_o less_o as_o principal_n which_o to_o strict_o legal_a surety_n always_o be_v suppose_v but_o of_o this_o i_o have_v treat_v in_o man_n make_v righteous_a and_o in_o answer_n to_o the_o report_n and_o p._n s._n to_o gospel-truth_n the_o other_z side_n think_v christ_n with_o the_o father_n consent_n come_v into_o the_o covenant_n of_o work_n consider_v as_o a_o bond_n as_o unviolated_a say_v some_o as_o violate_v say_v other_o and_o therein_o become_v one_o foederate_a party_n with_o we_o as_o elect_a some_o say_v as_o believer_n say_v other_o even_o such_o a_o surety_n as_o make_v the_o covenant_n of_o work_n run_v thus_o if_o thou_o christ_n my_o son_n or_o you_o the_o elect_n or_o believer_n do_v obey_v all_o the_o law_n you_o shall_v live_v but_o if_o they_o sin_v thou_o or_o they_o shall_v die_v or_o they_o have_v sin_v thou_o shall_v die_v and_o they_o conceive_v christ_n to_o be_v as_o a_o a_o dangerous_a difference_n and_o so_o it_o be_v on_o our_o part_n if_o we_o do_v not_o own_o that_o christ_n fulfil_n of_o the_o law_n be_v a_o article_n in_o the_o covenant_n of_o redemption_n and_o that_o we_o be_v as_o full_o assure_v of_o salvation_n if_o we_o accept_v of_o christ_n as_o if_o we_o have_v covenant_v in_o he_o and_o that_o he_o have_v engage_v the_o elect_n shall_v accept_v of_o he_o though_o they_o do_v not_o covenant_n in_o he_o and_o that_o believer_n have_v as_o inviolable_a a_o interest_n in_o the_o benefit_n of_o christ_n death_n both_o in_o his_o right_n and_o by_o the_o gospel-promise_n as_o if_o they_o be_v legal_o esteem_v to_o suffer_v what_o he_o do_v suffer_v but_o all_o this_o we_o acknowledge_v it_o will_v be_v as_o dangerous_a on_o our_o brethren_n part_n to_o say_v we_o covenant_v in_o christ_n and_o obey_v in_o he_o if_o they_o do_v not_o renounce_v all_o proud_a assume_v boast_n as_o if_o they_o be_v as_o righteous_a as_o christ_n or_o stand_v on_o term_n with_o god_n need_v no_o more_o act_n of_o mercy_n than_o that_o one_o of_o appoint_v christ_n to_o be_v mediator_n but_o after_o that_o they_o be_v on_o term_n of_o strict_a justice_n and_o above_o forgiveness_n etc._n etc._n the_o like_a danger_n will_v ensue_v their_o position_n if_o they_o do_v not_o acknowledge_v the_o necessity_n of_o faith_n to_o justification_n and_o this_o faith_n to_o be_v always_o accompany_v with_o repentance_n and_o persevere_v holiness_n but_o our_o brethren_n renounce_v the_o former_a and_o own_o the_o latter_a matter_n stand_v thus_o will_v afford_v no_o ground_n to_o hereticate_v each_o other_o we_o think_v a_o mediate_a surety_n oblige_v in_o a_o distinct_a bond_n to_o perform_v the_o utmost_a which_o our_o brethren_n affirm_v christ_n to_o have_v do_v do_v as_o well_o secure_a our_o state_n and_o support_v our_o faith_n as_o if_o in_o the_o same_o bond_n and_o better_a account_n for_o the_o sapiential_a method_n of_o divine_a government_n towards_o man_n since_o the_o fall_n with_o god_n judicial_a procedure_v towards_o man_n as_o under_o gospel-offers_a and_o his_o suspending_a christ_n merit_a benefit_n till_o
