to_o believer_n then_o the_o imputation_n of_o christ_n righteousness_n be_v to_o prove_v the_o imputation_n of_o adam_n sin_n and_o that_o neither_o the_o one_o nor_o the_o other_o in_o the_o sense_n appropriate_v to_o the_o death_n and_o blood_n of_o christ_n yea_o and_o the_o whole_a scripture_n throughout_o teach_v our_o faith_n to_o seek_v its_o righteousness_n in_o this_o obedience_n of_o he_o so_o that_o all_o this_o while_n here_o be_v nothing_o at_o all_o appear_v for_o the_o countenance_v of_o that_o imputation_n of_o the_o active_a obedience_n of_o christ_n which_o take_v so_o deep_o with_o the_o thought_n of_o many_o 5._o suppose_v that_o by_o the_o obedience_n of_o christ_n we_o shall_v here_o contrary_a to_o the_o general_a current_n aswell_o of_o interpreter_n as_o so_o when_o the_o apostle_n simple_o and_o bare_o affirm_v that_o by_o the_o obedience_n of_o christ_n man_n be_v make_v
it_o do_v not_o follow_v that_o except_o christ_n have_v be_v circumcise_v we_o must_v have_v be_v circumcise_v except_o he_o have_v fast_v 40_o day_n we_o must_v have_v fast_v 40._o except_o he_o we_o though_o this_o expression_n may_v be_v admit_v without_o grant_v that_o he_o do_v these_o in_o our_o stead_n see_v cap._n 3._o sect._n 11._o of_o this_o second_o part_n and_o thus_o we_o see_v that_o this_o argument_n also_o be_v defective_a on_o every_o side_n another_o sect_n 22_o argum._n 10_o reach_v after_o the_o same_o conclusion_n with_o the_o former_a but_o scarce_o with_o the_o liek_n appearance_n of_o strength_n be_v this_o if_o we_o can_v be_v justify_v by_o the_o righteousness_n of_o christ_n otherwise_o then_o by_o the_o imputation_n of_o it_o then_o must_v it_o needs_o be_v impute_v unto_o we_o in_o our_o justification_n but_o there_o be_v no_o way_n of_o be_v justify_v by_o the_o righteousness_n of_o christ_n but_o only_o by_o the_o imputation_n of_o it_o unto_o christ_n etc._n etc._n the_o meaning_n be_v not_o that_o god_n look_v upon_o we_o as_o if_o we_o have_v lay_v down_o our_o natural_a life_n by_o death_n when_o he_o lay_v down_o his_o and_o as_o if_o and_o to_o the_o world_n rom._n 6.5_o or_o else_o this_o death_n itself_o real_o effect_v and_o wrought_v in_o we_o by_o that_o death_n of_o christ_n be_v therefore_o call_v the_o communion_n or_o meaning_n of_o such_o expression_n be_v either_o to_o signify_v the_o profession_n that_o be_v make_v by_o we_o of_o that_o newness_n of_o life_n which_o in_o way_n of_o a_o spiritual_a analogy_n and_o likeness_n answer_v that_o life_n whereunto_o christ_n be_v quicken_v and_o rise_v again_o from_o the_o death_n rom._n 6.5_o or_o else_o the_o new_a life_n itself_o raise_v and_o wrought_v in_o we_o by_o that_o quicken_a and_o rise_v again_o of_o christ_n from_o the_o dead_a in_o the_o former_a sense_n you_o shall_v find_v one_o of_o they_o use_v colos_n 3.1_o if_o you_o be_v rise_v with_o christ_n that_o be_v since_o you_o make_v profession_n of_o that_o new_a and_o excellent_a life_n which_o answer_v the_o life_n which_o christ_n live_v upon_o and_o after_o his_o resurrection_n give_v scripture_n as_o this_o we_o have_v fulfil_v the_o law_n
