christ_n and_o he_o will_v in_o pity_n and_o compassion_n restore_v they_o to_o liberty_n but_o if_o rather_o than_o they_o will_v endure_v the_o danger_n of_o the_o fight_n they_o profess_v themselves_o friend_n to_o sin_n and_o satan_n or_o if_o have_v profess_v themselves_o christ_n soldier_n they_o at_o the_o first_o encounter_n of_o their_o spiritual_a enemy_n tempt_v they_o to_o any_o sin_n do_v forsake_v christ_n standard_n shameful_o or_o cowardly_o yield_v to_o sin_n and_o satan_n voluntary_o live_v in_o their_o slavery_n without_o desire_n of_o liberty_n then_o either_o they_o show_v themselves_o notable_a coward_n worthy_a to_o be_v casser_v out_o of_o god_n camp_n or_o traitorous_a rebel_n who_o though_o outward_o they_o make_v a_o profession_n that_o they_o be_v christ_n soldier_n yet_o in_o heart_n they_o desire_v to_o serve_v satan_n §_o sect._n 9_o here_o therefore_o be_v encouragement_n for_o the_o weak_a christian_a who_o be_v discourage_v and_o xiiii_o satan_n temptation_n concern_v our_o redemption_n wherewith_o he_o move_v the_o worldling_n to_o presumption_n answer_v §_o sect._n 1_o and_o thus_o have_v i_o show_v what_o our_o redemption_n be_v temptation_n the_o temptation_n now_o let_v we_o consider_v of_o those_o temptation_n of_o satan_n which_o he_o sugge_v into_o the_o mind_n of_o man_n whereby_o he_o labour_v to_o deprive_v so_o foolish_a as_o to_o sell_v their_o soul_n unto_o sin_n for_o every_o vain_a pleasure_n and_o trifle_a commodity_n if_o they_o be_v assure_v that_o christ_n redeem_v they_o with_o the_o price_n of_o his_o precious_a blood_n which_o be_v of_o more_o value_n than_o many_o world_n
be_v not_o injustice_n in_o god_n to_o suffer_v our_o saviour_n christ_n to_o undergo_v that_o which_o he_o be_v sure_a to_o overcome_v but_o unspeakable_a mercy_n towards_o we_o in_o send_v his_o son_n to_o pay_v that_o debt_n which_o we_o can_v never_o have_v discharge_v and_o to_o suffer_v punishment_n for_o a_o time_n which_o otherwise_o we_o shall_v have_v endure_v for_o ever_o by_o this_o this_o manner_n whosoever_o believe_v in_o christ_n those_o he_o have_v redeem_v and_o will_v save_v for_o this_o be_v the_o voice_n and_o promise_n of_o christ_n in_o the_o gospel_n but_o i_o may_n every_o faithful_a man_n say_v do_v true_o believe_v in_o christ_n and_o therefore_o i_o be_o redeem_v and_o shall_v eternal_o be_v save_v §_o sect._n 4_o but_o against_o this_o particular_a application_n of_o christ_n &_o his_o merit_n unto_o we_o the_o tempter_n urge_v diverse_a objection_n first_o 5.25.27_o satan_n temptation_n against_o the_o particular_a application_n of_o christ_n or_o by_o free_v it_o altogether_o from_o corruption_n and_o the_o filthy_a spot_n of_o sin_n wherewith_o natural_o it_o be_v defile_v which_o be_v begin_v in_o this_o life_n but_o shall_v not_o be_v
