idolater_n i_o will_v answer_v in_o order_n unto_o these_o four_o point_n 1_o first_o they_o be_v fowl_o deceive_v in_o this_o that_o they_o think_v those_o old_a idolater_n believe_v their_o idol_n to_o be_v god_n for_o they_o change_v they_o according_a to_o their_o pleasure_n but_o they_o always_o keep_v the_o same_o god_n in_o their_o mind_n 2_o moreover_o there_o be_v no_o god_n of_o they_o which_o have_v not_o many_o image_n and_o yet_o they_o do_v not_o according_a to_o that_o multitude_n make_v to_o themselves_o many_o god_n 3_o final_o they_o do_v daily_o consecrate_v new_a image_n yet_o it_o be_v not_o in_o their_o mind_n to_o make_v new_a god_n whereupon_o it_o be_v plain_a that_o they_o be_v not_o so_o blockish_a and_o without_o sense_n to_o believe_v that_o a_o idol_n of_o stone_n or_o of_o wood_n or_o of_o gold_n or_o of_o silver_n be_v the_o very_a essence_n of_o god_n but_o only_o a_o similitude_n or_o likeness_n of_o god_n it_o be_v indeed_o certain_a that_o the_o prophet_n sometime_o reproove_v the_o israelite_n for_o this_o that_o they_o say_v to_o their_o idol_n thou_o be_v my_o god_n but_o this_o be_v do_v for_o the_o cause_n which_o i_o speak_v of_o before_o for_o that_o give_v to_o image_n the_o honour_n due_a unto_o god_n alone_o they_o esteem_v they_o in_o the_o place_n of_o god_n notwithstanding_o they_o colour_v that_o idolatry_n with_o
