threefold_a notion_n as_o it_o
the_o folly_n of_o these_o virgin_n lie_v for_o you_o have_v hear_v of_o their_o virginity_n in_o their_o separation_n from_o and_o profession_n against_o antichristian_a idolatry_n and_o man_n invention_n and_o also_o in_o their_o escape_v the_o world_n pollution_n and_o you_o have_v see_v their_o virginity_n in_o their_o espousal_n unto_o christ_n and_o visible_a communion_n with_o the_o wise_a in_o the_o enjoyment_n of_o gospel-ordinance_n you_o have_v hear_v also_o of_o their_o light_n their_o hope_n their_o awake_v their_o trim_v their_o lamp_n and_o how_o near_o they_o come_v to_o heaven_n but_o here_o now_o be_v the_o one_o thing_n lack_v that_o all_o this_o be_v the_o effect_n only_o of_o a_o external_a and_o ineffectual_a work_n wherein_o though_o there_o be_v something_o internal_a it_o be_v but_o light_n and_o transient_a which_o never_o wrought_v a_o thorough_a and_o powerful_a change_n of_o the_o heart_n whereas_o the_o wise_a have_v a_o inward_a and_o powerful_a call_n to_o christ_n insomuch_o that_o the_o gospel_n come_v to_o they_o not_o in_o word_n only_o but_o also_o in_o power_n and_o in_o the_o holy_a ghost_n whereby_o they_o be_v make_v to_o know_v wisdom_n in_o the_o hide_a part_n and_o become_v virgin_n in_o affection_n and_o disposition_n as_o well_o as_o in_o profession_n and_o action_n mean_o while_o the_o operation_n of_o the_o spirit_n be_v languid_a weak_a and_o transient_a upon_o the_o heart_n of_o foolish_a one_o as_o we_o see_v in_o the_o stony_a ground_n in_o which_o there_o be_v no_o thorough_a powerful_a and_o abide_a change_n and_o hence_o it_o be_v say_v the_o foolish_a take_v their_o lamp_n but_o take_v no_o oil_n with_o they_o they_o want_v the_o oil_n of_o the_o spirit_n of_o god_n and_o his_o save_a gift_n
