life_n for_o this_o hope_n will_v strengthen_v and_o encourage_v we_o against_o all_o kind_n of_o misery_n trouble_n and_o affliction_n yea_o and_o against_o the_o fear_n of_o death_n itself_o and_o that_o in_o such_o manner_n that_o although_o these_o of_o themselves_o appear_v to_o be_v very_o terrible_a and_o able_a to_o daunt_v the_o courage_n of_o every_o one_o yet_o through_o this_o helmet_n the_o terror_n and_o fear_n of_o they_o be_v take_v away_o and_o they_o which_o be_v with_o this_o piece_n of_o armour_n furnish_v be_v make_v strong_a and_o able_a to_o suffer_v and_o endure_v they_o continual_o it_o be_v well_o call_v of_o the_o apostle_n the_o helmet_n or_o head-piece_n of_o salvation_n for_o it_o will_v shroud_v and_o cover_v we_o from_o the_o hurt_n of_o all_o assault_n of_o the_o enemy_n whatsoever_o for_o then_o alone_o we_o yield_v when_o as_o we_o despair_n and_o be_v out_o of_o hope_n but_o while_o hope_n last_v we_o be_v ready_a still_o to_o fight_v and_o strive_v unto_o the_o death_n in_o the_o six_o place_n come_v the_o shield_n of_o faith_n faith_n 6._o shield_n of_o faith_n which_o have_v this_o virtue_n and_o power_n give_v unto_o it_o that_o it_o will_v quench_v all_o the_o fiery_a dart_n of_o the_o devil_n for_o have_v our_o faith_n and_o confidence_n set_v and_o seat_v upon_o christ_n and_o upon_o his_o death_n and_o passion_n we_o shall_v be_v thereby_o so_o sure_o keep_v and_o cover_v that_o no_o assault_n or_o terror_n of_o the_o devil_n shall_v be_v able_a to_o annoy_v or_o hurt_v we_o but_o with_o ease_n we_o shall_v be_v able_a to_o withstand_v they_o and_o to_o avoid_v the_o danger_n of_o they_o all_o the_o time_n when_o satan_n most_o prevail_v against_o we_o be_v when_o he_o see_v and_o perceive_v we_o to_o be_v destitute_a of_o this_o piece_n of_o armour_n to_o protect_v and_o defend_v us._n therefore_o against_o this_o day_n and_o time_n of_o death_n it_o be_v expedient_a and_o needful_a for_o we_o to_o use_v all_o good_a mean_n to_o cheer_v up_o and_o increase_v this_o faith_n of_o we_o that_o then_o especial_o it_o may_v be_v strong_a and_o flourish_a when_o as_o we_o shall_v be_v thus_o encounter_v with_o by_o these_o extremite_n for_o the_o seven_o piece_n of_o armour_n spirit_n 7._o sword_n of_o the_o spirit_n takâ—_n the_o sword_n of_o the_o spirit_n which_o be_v the_o word_n of_o god_n in_o this_o also_o it_o behoove_v thou_o to_o be_v prepare_v &_o to_o have_v good_a knowledge_n for_o satan_n as_o have_v be_v show_v before_o have_v many_o temptation_n which_o in_o his_o own_o sense_n and_o sort_n he_o use_v to_o ground_n upon_o the_o write_a word_n which_o temptation_n can_v by_o no_o mean_n better_o be_v avoid_v then_o by_o the_o same_o word_n use_v in_o the_o true_a and_o right_a sense_n thereof_o this_o can_v hardly_o or_o never_o be_v do_v unless_o thou_o be_v skilful_a and_o expert_a in_o the_o scripture_n wherefore_o let_v these_o i_o mean_v the_o scripture_n be_v thy_o daily_a garden_n wherein_o thou_o may_v gather_v most_o sweet_a and_o comfortable_a simples_n against_o this_o sick_a and_o heavy_a day_n make_v these_o thy_o counsellor_n to_o instruct_v subtle_a and_o crafty_a assault_n unto_o all_o these_o it_o be_v necessary_a that_o thou_o add_v and_o adjoine_v fervent_a prayer_n that_o god_n will_v give_v thou_o grace_v &_o strength_n unto_o these_o thing_n continual_o and_o every_o day_n increase_v all_o unto_o thy_o comfort_n and_o that_o he_o will_v vouchsafe_v to_o prepare_v and_o furnish_v thou_o unto_o this_o spiritual_a and_o final_a combat_n at_o thy_o end_n and_o death_n as_o that_o when_o and_o howsoever_o it_o shall_v happen_v thou_o may_v be_v always_o in_o a_o readiness_n to_o undertake_v it_o with_o willingness_n
