plentiful_o and_o abundant_o righteous_a in_o the_o sight_n of_o god_n and_o shall_v we_o be_v trouble_v more_o with_o the_o feel_n of_o adam_n work_n upon_o we_o than_o be_v fill_v with_o joy_n with_o the_o exceed_a glory_n of_o christ_n work_n upon_o we_o shall_v we_o not_o by_o such_o regard_n of_o sense_n and_o feeling_n that_o be_v of_o old_a adam_n and_o weakness_n of_o faith_n great_o dishonour_v the_o godhead_n of_o christ_n in_o the_o second_o adam_n this_o comparison_n between_o christ_n and_o adam_n do_v luther_n also_o strong_o press_v for_o the_o strengthen_n of_o faith_n say_v thus_o for_o as_o we_o can_v deny_v but_o that_o we_o be_v all_o sinner_n and_o be_v constrain_v to_o say_v that_o through_o the_o sin_n of_o adam_n we_o be_v all_o lose_v be_v make_v the_o enemy_n of_o god_n and_o guilty_a of_o eternal_a death_n for_o this_o do_v all_o terrify_a heart_n feel_v and_o confess_v and_o more_o indeed_o sometime_o than_o they_o shall_v do_v so_o can_v we_o not_o deny_v but_o that_o christ_n die_v for_o our_o sin_n that_o he_o may_v make_v we_o righteous_a for_o he_o die_v not_o to_o justify_v the_o righteous_a but_o the_o unrighteous_a and_o to_o make_v they_o the_o child_n of_o god_n and_o inheritor_n of_o all_o spiritual_a and_o heavenly_a blessing_n therefore_o when_o i_o feel_v and_o confess_v myself_o to_o be_v a_o sinner_n through_o adam_n transgression_n why_o shall_v i_o not_o say_v that_o i_o be_o make_v righteous_a through_o the_o righteousness_n of_o christ_n especial_o when_o i_o hear_v that_o he_o love_v i_o and_o give_v himself_o for_o i_o this_o do_v paul_n most_o steadfast_o believe_v and_o therefore_o he_o speak_v these_o word_n with_o so_o great_a vehemency_n and_o full_a assurance_n which_o he_o grant_v unto_o we_o in_o some_o part_n at_o the_o least_o which_o have_v love_v we_o and_o give_v himself_o for_o we_o the_o three_o help_n to_o strengthen_v our_o weak_a faith_n to_o believe_v above_o our_o sense_n and_o feeling_n that_o we_o be_v make_v thus_o perfect_o and_o glorious_o holy_a and_o righteous_a from_o all_o spot_n of_o sin_n in_o the_o sight_n of_o god_n free_o be_v for_o the_o inconvenience_n and_o evil_n that_o otherwise_o will_v follow_v this_o distrust_n brief_o and_o plain_o express_v by_o luther_n say_v thus_o except_o thou_o do_v believe_v above_o thy_o sense_n and_o feeling_n and_o confess_v that_o thou_o be_v thus_o righteous_a in_o the_o sight_n of_o god_n thou_o do_v great_a injury_n to_o christ_n who_o have_v make_v thou_o clean_o by_o the_o wash_n of_o water_n through_o christ_n with_o all_o his_o benefit_n and_o so_o consequent_o thou_o can_v not_o deny_v but_o that_o thou_o be_v righteous_a now_o concern_v the_o other_o part_n of_o the_o objection_n object_n namely_o that_o we_o feel_v so_o great_a unworthiness_n in_o ourselves_o that_o we_o dare_v not_o assume_v so_o great_a glory_n to_o ourselves_o that_o we_o be_v make_v so_o perfect_o and_o glorious_o holy_a and_o righteous_a in_o the_o sight_n of_o god_n as_o that_o we_o be_v only_o and_o mere_o the_o righteousness_n of_o god_n in_o his_o sight_n to_o which_o i_o answer_v again_o with_o luther_n that_o there_o answ_n be_v two_o great_a cause_n beside_o the_o malice_n of_o the_o devil_n why_o we_o do_v not_o believe_v and_o so_o receive_v this_o precious_a gift_n first_o the_o inestimable_a greatness_n of_o the_o gift_n be_v the_o cause_n that_o we_o do_v not_o believe_v it_o and_o because_o this_o incomparable_a treasure_n be_v free_o offer_v therefore_o it_o be_v despise_v and_o in_o we_o a_o hardness_n to_o believe_v it_o but_o for_o this_o there_o be_v a_o threefold_a remedy_n able_a to_o strengthen_v we_o effectual_o in_o faith_n the_o first_o be_v express_v by_o luther_n
