can_v they_o have_v why_o they_o shall_v not_o think_v that_o this_o likewise_o may_v be_v and_o also_o be_v a_o full_a and_o effectual_a sacrament_n to_o participate_v the_o body_n and_o blood_n of_o christ_n without_o any_o such_o couple_v of_o they_o and_o the_o outward_a element_n thereof_o as_o for_o the_o defence_n of_o this_o their_o real_a presence_n here_o they_o urge_v if_o that_o be_v whatsoever_o the_o lord_n have_v teach_v or_o tell_v for_o truth_n in_o these_o canonical_a scripture_n we_o be_v most_o firm_o by_o faith_n to_o aslent_a unto_o to_o be_v so_o and_o therefore_o hereof_o howsoever_o to_o discredit_v we_o withal_o the_o papist_n will_v seem_v to_o the_o contrary_a we_o neither_o make_v nor_o move_v any_o controversy_n with_o they_o yea_o we_o most_o hearty_o wish_v and_o pray_v that_o as_o they_o define_v faith_n to_o be_v a_o firm_a assent_n to_o the_o whole_a reveal_v will_n of_o god_n by_o his_o word_n that_o once_o it_o will_v please_v god_n to_o give_v they_o but_o this_o faith_n to_o assent_v in_o deed_n without_o waver_v to_o that_o which_o he_o have_v teach_v in_o his_o write_a word_n in_o the_o canonical_a scripture_n for_o then_o all_o thereupon_o as_o upon_o a_o most_o sound_a foundation_n to_o ground_v a_o most_o certain_a trust_n &_o confidence_n that_o in_o for_o through_z and_o by_o he_o whole_o and_o sole_o free_o &_o sully_v we_o shall_v be_v justify_v here_o and_o save_v here_o after_o to_o all_o the_o former_a degree_n of_o faith_n the_o reprobate_a and_o such_o as_o be_v destitute_a for_n the_o grace_n of_o phrase_n be_v so_o to_o be_v take_v in_o all_o other_o yet_o they_o can_v so_o be_v in_o this_o though_o when_o they_o say_v so_o they_o think_v they_o have_v say_v much_o to_o the_o purpose_n yet_o indeed_o they_o have_v say_v nothing_o for_o who_o know_v not_o that_o a_o man_n have_v a_o essential_a difference_n to_o distinguish_v he_o from_o all_o other_o creature_n under_o the_o same_o any_o question_n with_o he_o either_o then_o or_o afterward_o about_o the_o sense_n thereof_o whereas_o if_o they_o have_v take_v they_o in_o any_o such_o sense_n and_o have_v think_v that_o they_o do_v import_v any_o such_o matter_n as_o either_o of_o these_o sort_n of_o man_n imagine_v they_o do_v they_o be_v so_o bold_a with_o he_o at_o other_o time_n always_o in_o matter_n of_o far_o less_o importance_n and_o difficulty_n as_o to_o inquire_v his_o meaning_n they_o will_v also_o doubtless_o so_o have_v do_v in_o this_o which_o thing_n in_o some_o sort_n and_o that_o with_o some_o further_a matter_n very_o fit_a to_o cross_v these_o man_n conceit_n chrisostome_n in_o his_o 83._o homily_n upon_o matthew_n have_v note_v say_v even_o speak_v of_o the_o word_n of_o the_o this_o variety_n in_o these_o in_o repeat_v &_o set_v down_o the_o word_n of_o the_o institution_n as_o may_v be_v see_v by_o this_o that_o i_o have_v already_o note_v argue_v that_o they_o be_v not_o so_o superstitious_o tie_v to_o a_o set_a sort_n &_o number_n of_o word_n as_o these_o man_n imagine_v yea_o that_o they_o so_o they_o keep_v his_o very_a sense_n think_v that_o it_o be_v lawful_a for_o they_o thus_o to_o add_v or_o change_v a_o word_n or_o two_o tend_v only_o to_o explain_v the_o same_o hereby_o it_o be_v evident_a for_o paul_n word_n break_v in_o steed_n of_o luke_n give_v be_v ratify_v and_o so_o stand_v by_o the_o shed_n of_o that_o blood_n to_o all_o believer_n in_o he_o but_o indeed_o though_o they_o will_v seem_v to_o be_v man_n that_o make_v wonderful_a great_a conscience_n of_o the_o letter_n and_o word_n as_o though_o it_o be_v sacrilege_n to_o go_v one_o jot_n from_o the_o sound_n thereof_o yet_o any_o man_n that_o look_v but_o with_o half_a a_o eye_n whether_o their_o new_a find_v sense_n thereof_o or_o this_o of_o we_o understanding_n it_o as_o place_v for_o it_o signify_v represent_v and_o seal_v unto_o you_o my_o body_n break_v and_o blood_n shed_v to_o be_v you_o to_o eternal_a life_n stand_v better_o but_o with_o these_o word_n of_o christ_n do_v this_o in_o remembrance_n of_o i_o luke_n 22.19_o 1._o cor._n 11.24_o especial_o so_o they_o all_o agree_v in_o one_o that_o he_o call_v the_o other_o his_o blood_n shed_v if_o therefore_o they_o will_v stick_v to_o the_o word_n of_o the_o text_n and_o yet_o have_v a_o real_a presence_n as_o they_o teach_v of_o his_o very_a body_n and_o blood_n by_o virtue_n of_o the_o word_n thereof_o they_o see_v most_o plain_o than_o it_o must_v be_v of_o his_o body_n break_v and_o of_o his_o blood_n shed_v unless_o therefore_o now_o they_o can_v find_v we_o a_o invisible_a body_n break_v and_o blood_n invisible_a shed_v of_o he_o for_o the_o mouth_n of_o every_o receiver_n they_o neither_o say_v or_o do_v any_o thing_n to_o the_o purpose_n according_a to_o the_o text_n but_o i_o hope_v they_o be_v not_o so_o far_o go_v but_o they_o know_v that_o it_o be_v now_o a_o thousand_o more_o as_o we_o read_v rom._n 6.9_o and_o therefore_o even_o hereby_o the_o most_o simple_a may_v see_v that_o though_o they_o can_v show_v that_o his_o body_n alive_a or_o glorify_v can_v be_v invisible_a infinite_a and_o so_o multipliable_a as_o their_o doctrine_n import_v which_o yet_o they_o can_v never_o do_v that_o yet_o all_o this_o be_v nothing_o to_o the_o real_a presence_n of_o body_n &_o blood_n shed_v once_o to_o our_o eternal_a salvation_n for_o that_o fall_v out_o sense_n and_o succeed_v the_o institution_n of_o this_o sacrament_n wherein_o both_o by_o audible_a word_n examine_v likewise_o what_o they_o hold_v several_o in_o this_o case_n against_o we_o it_o be_v notorious_o know_v the_o one_o sort_n the_o fond_a imitator_n of_o luther_n i_o mean_v will_v maintain_v their_o real_a presence_n of_o his_o body_n and_o blood_n together_o with_o bread_n and_o wine_n in_o this_o sacrament_n when_o these_o common_a ground_n of_o they_o that_o they_o have_v with_o the_o papist_n as_o they_o fear_v will_v not_o serve_v their_o turn_n by_o the_o force_n and_o strength_n of_o the_o truth_n of_o the_o personal_a union_n of_o the_o two_o nature_n in_o christ_n whereupon_o as_o it_o appear_v by_o their_o book_n extant_a and_o confident_o publish_v about_o this_o matter_n i_o speak_v it_o with_o grief_n and_o compassion_n towards_o they_o because_o otherwise_o in_o the_o chief_a point_n of_o christian_a faith_n we_o account_v they_o our_o brethren_n and_o fellow_n soldier_n against_o the_o antichristian_a synagogue_n of_o rome_n they_o bold_o urge_v advouch_v &_o teach_v that_o immediate_o upon_o this_o union_n consummate_v in_o the_o virgin_n womb_n the_o nature_n &_o property_n of_o his_o godhead_n be_v &_o be_v so_o unite_v unto_o his_o manhood_n that_o as_o the_o godhead_n be_v everiwhere_o almighty_a &_o of_o infinite_a majesty_n etc._n etc._n so_o be_v the_o manhood_n and_o therefore_o in_o this_o sacrament_n as_o they_o teach_v especial_o they_o insist_v upon_o the_o be_v every_o where_n of_o his_o manhood_n as_o his_o godhead_n be_v to_o this_o purpose_n suppose_v the_o antecedent_n be_v grant_v they_o yet_o they_o can_v never_o thereupon_o infer_v their_o consequent_a for_o when_o will_v they_o be_v able_a to_o prove_v that_o his_o godhead_n be_v so_o present_a here_o with_o bread_n &_o wine_n that_o the_o receiver_n of_o they_o by_o his_o mouth_n always_o receive_v the_o other_o but_o indeed_o their_o antecedent_n be_v untrue_a absurd_a &_o very_o hetetical_a &_o but_o that_o i_o know_v it_o be_v a_o most_o fearful_a thing_n the_o grave_n and_o therefore_o his_o not_o be_v find_v there_o in_o his_o body_n be_v but_o a_o deceive_n of_o the_o sense_n of_o his_o mother_n and_o of_o those_o that_o seek_v he_o in_o his_o grave_n and_o can_v not_o find_v he_o for_o he_o be_v there_o still_o though_o she_o think_v that_o she_o be_v quite_o deliver_v of_o he_o and_o they_o can_v not_o find_v he_o there_o so_o also_o by_o this_o when_o he_o be_v die_v upon_o the_o cross_n visible_o in_o all_o other_o place_n he_o be_v invisible_o in_o his_o very_o same_o manhood_n alive_a and_o not_o touch_v by_o his_o enemy_n o_o what_o a_o ridiculous_a monstrous_a and_o foolish_a assertion_n be_v this_o whereupon_o all_o these_o most_o gross_a absurdity_n both_o against_o reason_n and_o all_o religion_n follow_v who_o can_v
