perceive_v by_o the_o eye_n also_o in_o hear_v there_o be_v the_o hear_n or_o perception_n of_o the_o ear_n and_o the_o thing_n hear_v be_v it_o voice_n or_o sound_v of_o man_n beast_n or_o bird_n or_o musical_a instrument_n and_o thus_o according_a unto_o these_o man_n doctrine_n the_o alone_a adequate_a formal_a object_n of_o all_o faith_n knowledge_n fruition_n enjoyment_n sight_n and_o read_v good_a word_n of_o meat_n but_o neither_o see_v nor_o taste_v it_o and_o as_o a_o woman_n hear_v of_o a_o husband_n she_o be_v marry_v unto_o or_o see_v his_o picture_n on_o a_o table_n or_o own_o shame_n and_o folly_n to_o the_o face_n of_o the_o world_n and_o as_o blind_a and_o ignorant_a be_v these_o teacher_n who_o have_v since_o receive_v and_o publish_v the_o same_o blind_a doctrine_n but_o if_o the_o inward_a light_n or_o illumination_n be_v altogether_o a_o unknown_a principle_n to_o he_o that_o have_v it_o have_v no_o evidence_n or_o light_n or_o demonstration_n of_o its_o own_o whereby_o to_o discover_v it_o how_o shall_v any_o man_n be_v sure_a or_o know_v sure_o that_o he_o have_v any_o inward_a divine_a light_n or_o illumination_n for_o no_o scripture_n can_v tell_v he_o that_o he_o have_v it_o or_o that_o he_o have_v the_o work_n of_o one_o that_o be_v divine_o illuminate_v one_o will_v think_v the_o bear_n name_v or_o mention_v such_o doctrine_n be_v enough_o to_o refute_v it_o as_o to_o say_v god_n and_o christ_n be_v and_o can_v only_o be_v know_v by_o word_n or_o report_n and_o hear-say_n whereas_o the_o scripture_n say_v ear_n have_v not_o
