though_o it_o seem_v so_o popular_a be_v not_o so_o easy_o decide_v but_o the_o great_a difficulty_n be_v to_o adjust_a the_o nature_n of_o repentance_n as_o accommodate_v to_o our_o expectation_n of_o national_a mercy_n which_o will_v fall_v under_o the_o next_o head_n five_o the_o case_n resolve_v and_o somewhat_o concern_v the_o rule_n by_o which_o it_o be_v resolve_v the_o rule_n by_o which_o we_o must_v determine_v this_o be_v hint_v in_o the_o case_n itself_o by_o the_o rule_n to_o decide_v the_o case_n by_o under_o those_o word_n what_o repentance_n do_v god_n require_v some_o effect_n of_o the_o spirit_n indwelling_a and_o not_o only_o of_o its_o common_a operation_n it_o be_v the_o fruit_n of_o the_o divine_a life_n and_o not_o mere_o of_o natural_a principle_n excite_v by_o foreign_a impression_n in_o these_o and_o the_o like_a save_v repentance_n exceed_v that_o repentance_n of_o a_o land_n which_o yet_o may_v afford_v expectation_n of_o national_a mercy_n 2._o
